1 The Chat

"what the fuck happened to me? Hoo, I remember-- I have to stop this crap"

The moans of pain gave away the decay that Jeremy Gilbert was in. He felt his soul come out of his mouth as he rose from the floor of his bedroom. His mind was turbulent and his body was weak.

He straightened up sitting on the floor and his eyes darted to the floor quickly. On the floor a few meters from him there were some capsules 5 in total, 4 empty and one full.

Inside the filled capsule was a white powder. Jeremy quickly took the capsule and opened it. His hands were shaking so much that he couldn't even hold the capsule properly, which soon fell to the ground, spilling the powder.

"No-- please don't-- shit-- shit" Jeremy panted putting a hand to his head.

His breathing was completely unfocused and barely. His vision was double and everything around him spun. Yes, Jeremy was a decadence junkie. It all started when he lost his parents for a few months and started dating more company until he tasted the herb for the first time.

In the beginning, it was phenomenal, it ended his sadness. But it quickly started to wear off and he started trying to end his grief with other drugs.

That's when he finally got to that point of being completely addicted.

Jeremy made a lot of shit when he was high. One of them was the one he regrets most! went to have sex with Elena Gilbert (His sister) one night drunk. They were both drunk in fact, drunk and sad! It all started because of a party at Caroline's house, a friend of Elena's.

Jeremy and Elena stayed at Caroline's mother's house until aunt Jenna arrived to look after them after their parents' deaths. Those weren't bad days and he even approached the blonde to be called almost friends.

Jeremy managed to see something beyond the dumb blonde she turned out to be and Caroline who had her disguise revealed started to approach Jeremy when she wanted to get rid of acting.

One day when Caroline's mother Sheriff Elizabeth Forbes had to stay on duty all night thanks to a disfigured body that was found in the woods.

Caroline took advantage and threw a party inviting all her friends. Jeremy spent most of the time with his friend Vicky but ended up leaving her company when he realized that Elena was being harassed by Matt.

He was trying to convince her to stop drinking and in fact, he was right Elena had drunk too much and was almost on weak legs.

Of course, she was still aware of what she was doing. it was easy, I'm in control of my mind but not my body

Jeremy knew Matt was a good person and wouldn't hurt Elena. but, the girl was completely uncomfortable with his presence. she still wasn't ready for the conversation they had to have to work things out.

Jeremy quickly managed to convince the boy to leave and took Elena to the bedroom to get her some sleep. However, he was drunk himself and he didn't have much balance so he ended up being pulled into bed by Elena

Elena started the act of talking stuff and flirting with him. at first, Jeremy tried to get away from her in every way possible. but Elena finally attacked him with kisses and touches that drunken Jeremy couldn't resist

They woke up the other day completely confused and when they found themselves they remembered what happened. They decided to forget everything that happened and pretend it was okay, But of course, it wasn't okay!

The atmosphere between them was awkward and every time they tried to talk Jeremy felt a knot in his stomach, disgusted with himself.

Elena didn't seem to give a damn what happened. she even started trying to get closer to him recently. As if there were any authority over him.

She looked like she was looking to replace their parents. but seeing Elena ignoring what happened further turned Jeremy's stomach in and that's when he got even more lost in drugs.

He knelt with his breathing so loud he was hyperventilating. His body temperature was exactly high and little by little his heart was accelerating more and more.

*Sound*

His cell phone screeched causing Jeremy to turn his eyes on him. Jeremy was barely able to stay upright. but, he was completely confused by the fact that his cell phone vibrated.

That wasn't his social cell phone. It was his gaming cell which he spent his time on when he wasn't drugged. Picking up the cell phone and turning it on. Jeremy saw a message request in a group of an app he didn't remember downloading

Jeremy tapped his cell phone screen to see what he had messaged. At the same time two messages appeared, one was calling him to a group and the other was an award message

1{ want to join the Dimensional Chat Group?}

2{Do you want to host a system?}

"YES" Jeremy hit to accept

As Jeremy was completely stoned, he didn't care if it was a virus or something like that to invade his cell phone. So easily accepted what he had in the message to get rid of the burden that was the cell phone at the time and go back to his dust.

{choosing a system for the host… Gamer system was chosen}

{Starting Gamer system and adapting it to your world… Choose the main class and a subclass.

1st Human

2nd Vampire

3rd Witch

4th Werewolf

5th Hunter

6th Hybrid

7th Heretic

8th Siphonator}

"Fuck-- this cell won't leave me alone" Jeremy slammed a fist to his head. He tried to throw the cell phone away, but it wouldn't let go of his hand.

Better yet, Jeremy wasn't able to play the cell. it was as if an invisible force prevented him from throwing the cell phone away making him hold the cell in his hand

Seeing that he couldn't get rid of his cell phone and being too drugged to realize that the cell phone is held in his hand by an invisible force was not normal. He looked at the cell phone screen which was divided into 5 cell phones thanks to his destroyed vision.

Jeremy tried to tap his cell phone once, but it just missed hitting the wind. he tried a second time. missed again By the third, he was already out of patience and focused his mind on his cell phone.

He managed to concentrate enough to see his cell phone and tapped two options without even seeing which ones it was.

{Main Heretic and Hunter subclasses were chosen… preparing for system assimilation in the host… 1,2,3}

When the system counted to three, Jeremy felt a severe headache. he fell to the ground holding his head and biting his tongue to the point of bleeding. He knew he couldn't scream if it wouldn't draw attention to his room.

he might be drugged, but his mind was still clear enough for him to know he didn't want to hurt his aunt by dropping all her life in another town to come to take care of them. he had to endure

The pain continued for a full hour. Jeremy didn't dare yell or call for help. his body began to change and slowly, his lean body that had been eaten by drugs began to get plumper in a perfect blend of muscle and fat.

He didn't turn into a huge muscle man who had a body as hard as stone, but he wasn't a lean body with fat that only showed his muscles when he pushed.

Jeremy was in between, his muscles were visible, but not flashy like a lot of gym monsters.

Twenty more minutes of pain, Black tattoos began to appear on Jeremy's body, They appeared all over his body forming a map. But soon they messed up and changed colour and shape to a western dragon that covered Jeremy's entire body.

Vein started appearing all over Jeremy's body as well causing his body to turn pale for a minute and then return to normal. fangs grew in Jeremy's mouth, destroying his gums.

Before long, the tattoo began to taper back down Jeremy's body until he became just a small dragon on his upper back. The tattoo was right between his neck and shoulders.

{Gamer System, Eliminated all spells that linked the host to third parties and destroyed mental triggers to prevent the host from becoming unstable}

Jeremy opened his eyes and to his surprise, his vision was completely normal. he no longer had anything holding him back or making him dizzy. it was like he was free of everything and felt light

"What happened to me?" Jeremy looked at his hands

His hands no longer shook. Yeah, it meant he wasn't on drugs anymore. He was sober. Snapping his tongue, Jeremy reached for the powder bottle on the floor and found it was empty with the powder thrown onto the floor.

he grimaced cursing his luck but living in a world where he was Sober wasn't something he could stand to live in.

Making his decision, Jeremy dove to the ground falling in front of the pile of dust and started to gather it into a pile and put his nose on top of the pile.

to smell

He felt the powder entering his nose and the effect was immediate making his heart race, he took a deep breath watching the breeze beat until the breeze ended in the next second.

"What the fuck is this?-- Why didn't it take effect?" Jeremy kicked the floor angrily. "Is this powder crappy?-- Damn it Vicki-- she said it was good"

"Jeremy? Are you okay?" A female voice called him seeming to be talking in his ear

Jeremy was startled when he looked at the door. He sighed when he realized there was no one in his room

He then shook his head from side to side looking for some answer.

"It's nothing Aunt Jenna I just hit the bed" Jeremy yelled

"OK-- be careful not to get hurt" The woman yelled back and her voice once again seemed to speak in his ear

"OK, I think it did take effect"

--

After several minutes of sitting. Jeremy looked around his room, he realized that his vision had focused things farther away from him when he wanted to. He could see the tiny print of a book from a great distance and was completely surprised

"Doing drugs gave me superpowers?" Jeremy chuckled confused and before he said anything a blue screen flashed in front of him "Is this a Status bar?"

On the Status, the bar was written.

Name: Jeremy Gilbert

Class: Heretic/Hunter

Title: The Gamer

Level: 1(0/100)

HP: 1500

MP: 1500

Intelligence: 100

Strength: 150

Agility: 150

Durability: 150

Charism: 50

Luck: 96

"Heretic? Hunter?-- what is this?" Jeremy asked curious ready to tap the blue screen.

But, before he touches the screen. His smartphone rang once more getting his attention.

Jeremy looked at the bed he was sitting on and saw his smartphone glowing. He picked up the Smartphone and turned it on. your home screen was in a message pad type

He decided to tap the screen to get out of this weird block now that he realized he was startled to realize that the app wasn't something he downloaded.

"Is it a virus" Jeremy wonders?

He prepared to delete the app and format the Smartphone when it blinked once more. He looked and saw a notification

{Ding 'Queen of the crossroads' joined the group}

{Ding 'day walker' joined the group}

{Ding 'Silver' joined the group}

{Ding 'The Grimm' joined the group}

With the notifications, Jeremy was surprised by the creative names of the people who joined the Chat, probably robots to trick them into putting a virus on their smartphones.

He thought twice before hitting the screen to send a message to the motherfucker who was trying to put a virus on his smartphone

First, he decided to research the app to see what kind of Hacker was trying to play with it. Jeremy might not be the greatest computer expert, but he wasn't the worst either. Getting to take some really good courses for his dad's share gave him some skills

He saw the app's instructions and scoffed as he read about what kind of idiot would fall for this? Why was his name the Huntsman Heretic? The name was ridiculous.

At least not as ridiculous as the daywalker or the crossroads queen. Grimm and Silver were the coolest of the ridiculous names.

"A Chat that allows people to converse with others of minimally similar dimensions?" Jeremy scoffed rolling his eyes "Who falls for a trick like that?"

{Queen of the Crossroads: What strange magic is this? Heretic hunter? I see, a hunter, do you think you can scare me with this cheap trick? Pathetic as expected from a hunter}

{Silver: Hey, looks like we've got a monster here-- I thought it was just a virus--where are you? I will kill you myself}

{Queen of the Crossroads: Great, another hunter}

{Daywalker: Why don't you guys calm down?-- we don't need to kill anybody, right?}

{Silver: Don't Mess}

{Queen of the Crossroads: Yes, shut up-- this is between me and the hunters. These bastards killed many of my subordinates}

{Silver: Haha, so you're an important shapeshifter? I was even more tempted to go after you}

{Queen of the Crossroads: Shapeshifter? Don't compare me to these children of Eve. I'm a Demon}

{Silver: Demon? HAHA, looks like I just got a prank call-- brats these days are getting weirder}

{Queen of the crossroads: You---}

{Daywalker: Y-Are you a greater demon?}

{Silver: Greater Demon? What are you talking about?}

{Queen of the crossroads: Umu, looks like someone is smart around here}

{Silver: hey, DayWalker what are you guys talking about?}

{Daywalker: Greater demons are the most powerful demons there are-- They should all be in the underworld}

{Queen of the crossroads: Your information isn't entirely wrong, congratulations, maybe I won't kill you when I find you}

Jeremy got to the point where he couldn't stand to watch the chat thread anymore and was surprised that it felt too real. The hackers were really good. The only thing on Jeremy's mind was why such skilful hackers were soon hacking into his smartphone

Tired of that he decided to join the conversation before the discussion started again

{Hunter Heretic: I had an Overdose and ended up getting powers, you know what could be happening}

{Silver: Great, a drugged hunter, didn't your veterans teach you the ground rules? You were probably bitten by an alpha]

{Queen of the crossroads: I agree with her. how ironic of a Hunter turning into a monster-- I've earned my day}

{Daywalker: Not monsters, UNDERGROUND}

{Queen of the crossroads: This is new, a new nickname for monsters, tell me, are you a monster?}

{Silver: Great}

{Daywalker: I'm a vampire, UNDERGROUND}

{Silver: Vampire? Great, more legendary monsters}

{Queen of the Crossroads: Hoo-- a vampire? I know your alpha-- the man is almost as powerful as his arrogance}

{Silver: An alpha vampire? Where is he? What are his weaknesses?}

{Daywalker: Alpha? My species has no Alpha}

{Queen of the Crossroads: give up, hunter-- The alpha vampire is almost as strong as his arrogance.-- The man is too arrogant-- yet still powerful-- a hunter without divine or holy help will quickly die upon finding him}

{Silver: I've been told this many times when I've killed many alphas}

{Daywalker: Guys… My race has no alpha}

{Queen of the crossroads: I don't know where he is if he knew, would send you to him to be killed, hunter}

{Silver: Hummp, Coward}

{Queen of the Crossroads: What did you say?}

{Silver: I said coward, didn't you hear?}

Jeremy who was already completely annoyed with the attitude of the two turned off his cell phone and went to sleep. he still didn't know if this was real or just an act of hackers, but. he just knew he gained powers and those were real

A little white-skinned girl with curly hair sitting in a dining room frowned. She slammed the table down destroying the table and looked at the people standing next to her.

An elderly white man, a young blond white woman and a young black man. Everyone looked at her fearfully.

"Clean up the mess" The little girl grumbled with white eyes "I have to find those hunters who dared to make fun of me and punish them"

---

In a moving car, Kate Argent threw her smartphone into the car's glove compartment and grimaced. she found out a lot of scary things in this chat that got involved

Vampires and Demons. Legendary Beings That Are Scarier Than Werewolves Kate decided she would talk more to the Heretic Hunter.

He may have turned into a monster, but he's still a hunter and he doesn't look like he's going to kill himself. Kate wouldn't kill herself if she was bitten either

Before she continued to think about her plans Kate's car was attacked

---

Simon Lewis turned off his cell phone and sat on the bed thoughtfully.

"Simon? What happened" A hand touched his shoulder and he saw Clary Fairchild lean against him with her body covered by a thick blanket.

it was cold in their town. The good thing about being a vampire was not feeling too cold or hot.

Simon thought about talking Chat and the Greater Demon to Clary, but he didn't. Something had been bothering him about Clary lately and he didn't feel like he could trust her that much anymore.

"It's nothing-- Let's just go back to sleep" Simon joked lying down and Clary lay down beside him. Simon felt bad for distrusting Clary, But, he trusted his instincts.

She started a conversation and before long they were both asleep.
