CHAPTER 44

Just as everything had been planned, Daciana took care of the geezer that bothered Daria while still transferring her brother to their hospital for treatment.

With everything settled that day, she proceeded with Esmeray and Daria to their home and when Esmeray asked her to sleep over so they could put their brains together and prepare a wonderful presentation for the CEO the next day, she could say no seeing as that was a perfect excuse to tell her father.

Smiling mischievously at Esmeray, Daciana squealed the next minute as she lifted herself off of her feet just to show how happy she was.

"Yes?" Esmeray asked, coming from behind her.

She turned in time to meet her friend before she advanced further. "Guess what."

"What?" Esmeray asked. She could already guess but nothing like having Daciana spill it. She had a knack for doing those excellently well.

Hopping on her feet simultaneously, she moved her hands in synchrony as she did her surprise dance before Esmeray and then the moment Esmeray had been waiting for finally appeared.

"Viola... Yes! Father agreeedddddddd! Whoaaaaaa!"

A light chuckle escaped Esmeray's lips at her friend's obvious display of joy and she shook her head. Even though Dacaiana grew, there were just some things that could never change and this was one.

If she was the one giving the news earlier on the business meeting approval, this would have been the same drama.

Ye, she could not complain, she loved every bit of that drama her friend portrayed.

As for Daria, she was happy to be around such lovely vibes. It made her heart swell and glad that she had a chance again at life, she and her brother and if there was nothing useful she could do, she really wanted to repay these ladies.

According to the plan, the meeting was slated for 9 am. At exactly 7:30 am, both ladies were awake. They had rushed to freshen up, open the outfit they ordered, got other things ready and soon they were ready to go.

Bidding Daria goodbye the two ladies dressed in a dark blue trouser suit and a purple trouser suit with marching white and black heels as well as handbags to go with, entered their car and drove out of the compound.

It was a meeting they needed to pull off on just this first meeting. There was no room for mistakes and just because no one mentioned it to them, doesn't mean, nobody would if they made such silly mistakes.

The second they got to the company and were about highlighting, Daciana's phone began to ring out, pulling their attention to it.

"Guess who is the lover boy calling this early," Esmeray pointed out with a wide smile.

"If it isn't Koray." She returned her friend's smile and brought out her phone. To Esmeray's not so much of a surprise, the caller was Koray.

Answering her call, she placed it on her ear as they highlighted from the car.

"Hey, Kay."

"Yes baby," he called out sexily. "Did you miss me?"

"Hmm let's see no. Heh hehe get your ass together and throw away this flirtatious side of yours," Daciana jokingly scolded.

"You know there is no fun if I do not make you laugh. Now, why I called."

"Hmm. I am all ears. Go ahead." Both ladies greeted the person parking the car as they stepped straight for the doors.

Luckily for them, being the cautious timekeepers, they arrived there at exactly eighteen minutes to 9 and wanted to make a candid impression.

"Koray," she called out in a warning tone.

"Yes, Dacy."

'Spill. I need to head in now for the meeting."

"In, like in? I thought it wasn't until 9. Do not tell me a young handsome guy got you and now you are leaving me and racing up to him. No."

E began to wail from the other end of the phone, causing the already used to him Daciana to roll her eyes at him as Esmeray and herself entered the company.

Still, Koray did not leave them alone. "Hey Dacy, bid father hen goodbye for me. We need to head to the elevator soon and..."

That was when Esmeray saw that she was not paying attention. Rager er face looked like one who was going to burst out laughing finally she did.

"Hahhaaaa..." Whatever it was that Koray was telling her was making her go insane and Esmeray was not accepting this.

Moving straight or her friend, she snatched the phone but Daciana quickly held unto it. They pulled on a bit but no one wanted to let go.

Forgetting themselves, they pulled again and before they knew it the phone slipped from their hands and fell backwards.

Daciana staggered back from the force she exerted with the phone flying above her head as she leaned back a bit, hoping for her phone to fall into her hands, rather she heard...

SWISH!

And paused as she felt she had stepped on something or someone judging from the huge presence behind her and her phone finally fell at her back but did not hit the ground.

A part of her sighed silently at the fact she heard no sound, meaning her phone was safe but on the other hand, she wasn't so sure about herself.

BUMMER!

The deep enchanting yet intimidating aura reached out of him, sending shivers down the body of all those present and helping them know their place.

"Someone is not watching where they are going," the cold-chilling voice rang out at the back of her head, sending shivers down her spine as she turned around slowly to see who it was she had annoyed.
