"Sweetheart, can I ask you something?" Giavanna asked, approaching the center table where they sat.

Xander exchanged puzzled glances before he turned and answered, "Yes, go on."

When she reached the center table she had to turn to his left hand side since Eve was already occupying the space at his left.

"What are the reasons why a man would go to the extreme with a woman?" Giavanna asked seriously after sitting beside him.

"Extreme?" Xander repeated the word as if there was something wrong with that particular word.

"What do you mean by that? You need to elaborate so I will know the right answer to give," Xander added. Although she didn't say a word Eve listened to the couple's conversation as if she was the one Giavanna was discussing with.

"By extreme I mean like throwing the woman off the deck of a yacht just because she tried to get close to him," Giavanna explained in a carefree tone.
