"What do you think you're doing, child?" A man stared deeply into her eyes and asked.

She was startled because Valeria thought he was dead! "D-dad? What are you doing here?"

"You dunno what you're getting yourself into, child. Run while you still can!"

"Is it about the flash drive? Tell me what's in it? What's the password, how do I open the file?"

"It's way past the flash drive. People are dangerous there, and desperate. May you not be just a pawn in their games."

"Who? Tell me!" 

"Stay safe, child. Remember the song..."

Her eyes flung wide open like someone had just splashed cold water on her face. "Dad?" 

For the first time, she missed her dad. How long had she closed her eyes that the dream had started again? She heaved in a deep sigh.
