When I woke up, I heard the sound of my wife urging me to have breakfast after a refreshment. When I asked about my father. I said "he went for the morning walk". The morning walks around 5.30 – 7. 00 am were a common practice for children, adults, and elders, it was introducing 6 months ago by Master William as a healthy practice.

I was thankful to master William, he helped my father in the development of the village and he is like a lucky guardian to our village.

Then when I asked about my son, I heard he is still sleeping. Not caring about that I went to the public washroom in the corner of the village with a bamboo bucket and cups. It took around 5 minutes by walk. I don't have to care about the mud road because our village has stone-paved roads. The public bathroom is a very big and clean place which ensures a healthy environment for our village.

Usually, a public place is not crowded because the village large number of washrooms separately for men and women. But most women are supportive of the new toilet being built across the village homes.

After a wash, I returned home to see a table full of dishes prepared by my wife and mother. Then, I saw my returning after a morning walk, while directly entering the washroom to have a bath in the backyard.

When my father came to the dining we had a morning greeting. At the same time, my son was also got washed and dressed by my wife. Then we had a family breakfast.

After a small talk with my father, I went toward the pearl hot spring hotel. I own that with the help of my father. I also have some agricultural land that was lent to one of the villagers for lease for 3 years.

When I entered my hot spring stay there are a group of customers going in and out of it. Our stay in one of the first-class hotels in the village known for its higher-class service, food, and safety.

Every month there will be an inspection from the village community elders to ensure the service quality of the hot spring hotel in the village.

Then, went to the staff to have a morning meeting regarding future development ideas and ideas for increasing service quality of the Pearl hot spring hotel.

Every staff in my hotel will get some complaints from the customers because mistakes are usual in busy hours. But still, they will try to provide satisfactory service and results.

Many of these ideas came from the Peach mansion of Master William. That's why we are more thankful to him. My wife usually takes care of homely affairs. So, I don't have to worry about that. It is also forbidden for the women in the village to step of homes after 7 pm without her husband or father for other than emergency or health problems to avoid the safety concern and to ensure the reputation of each woman in the village.

The rule of single partners was announced last month to avoid the problems caused by the women in the harem. It will be followed in the future. Having any affairs outside the home is also considered illegal in the village. This rule came because it was proposed by Master William for equality in gender and to ensure the rights of every woman in the village. Everything Master William has done has village better. So, it had great support among elders and passed the rules and their punishments.

I also support it because I married my wife after I fell in love with her and never wanted to share my love with another woman. Because of the ancient practice of having a concubine my wife and myself have faced some pressure from relatives. But now I got relieved because of the new village rules.

New Rules: These rules apply to both male and females.

One - If anyone has extra-marital affairs outside the home, he will be banned to enter village for 10 years, with all the properties will be divided evenly among his children and wife. The same for both genders.

Two – If anyone want to marry a concubine, his property will be only to given to children of first wife if after her death.

Three – All children have equal rights in the property of ancestors regardless of gender. So, the girl will take her as property or money dowry at the time of her marriage.

Fourth – Husband has no authority over his wife property or dowry.

Five – Harassing a girl or woman is considered to be a severe crime. If proved have to pay half of his property to the girl/women and handled to the local officials.

Six – Talking false rumors about a girl/woman is considered to be a crime. If proved have to pay a certain amount of money as per mental damage caused to the girl/woman and her reputation.

Seven - A girl/woman has the right to decide the partner of marriage.

Now a days I can see smiling a lot than compared to the time when new reputation rule came in order.

Maybe it will be the same for other women in the village. But the implementation of this rule will be hard for now. Many are still against it but not saying anything to avoid disrespecting Mr. William. At least these rules can guarantee women's safety to a certain limit. But the problems arise when the outsiders or the travelers who came to a bamboo village not follow the rules. So, these rules should be written or posted somewhere where everyone can see them and read them. I think the entrances of the village are the best area for doing this. I should talk to my father regarding this.

Unknown to him the person responsible for inducing William in introducing the new rules is sleeping cutely in William's hands.
