"Huh? Assimilation... Host?" I whisper to myself, as I did not understand what was happening. Assimilate what? And who's the host, and what does a host do?

With these questions in my brain piling up, it was like the message responded to my answers.

"You may call me the system, I am created by an entity outside of this world, you do not need to know the details. I grant powers to those who seek it, and you have been chosen as the first entity to posses the system. Congratulations!"

The words infront of me answered my questions, but I was still very confused.

"As per host's request, the system will now grant the power of... <Hypnosis> to the host, you may upgrade and learn more about this power by looking at your system panel. Simply think about the system whenever you want to look at yourself!"

The system left me with some questions, but I understood the concept. But hypnosis? What kind of power is that, I've never heard of something like that. I should take a look at the thing called a system panel first.

'System panel' I thought in my head, and as if on que, a new message popped up infront of me.

My eyes widen in shock, it accurately displayed my information. My powers, as well as my name. Sort of creepy, as I looked in awe.

What does the command feature do?

Allows you to command anyone who has less power than you to do one request, afterwards they will think like they did it out of their own free will.

Note: Cannot use multiple times on the same person in a day"

Oh, the system thing can hear my thoughts. That's perfect, absolutely wonderful.

Now if I got this right, I can command someone to do something one per day, with the skill command. Is that it? It's a powerful skill no doubt, but my power level there says one. Pretty useless, no?

"The host can get more power, as well as unlock different skills related to the user's magic."

Oh, this is pretty eas- wait, nevermind. Those that do hate me are my sister and my mother, both are stronger than me.

System, what's the power level of my sister?

Holy- My sister has 15 times the amount of power I have, how do I even gain power?

"Host can slowly gain power by doing daily tasks or have someone donate magic to the user"

Donate? Oh, right. There was another special thing about magic users, they can pass their magic onto their children. My mother was passing her magic to my sister, which was why she could make fire balls. The fire enhancement was her own magic, the ability to use fire to coat objects, making them stronger, more durable and hotter. An amazing skill, she could probably go to an academy for magic students if she wasn't born in the lower district.

Wait, if my mother was giving my sister her power then...

...Three? That's- That's so much lower! My sister is a monster if she was that much stronger than mom, damn...

But if I could take mom's fire power to myself, then I'd be able to use fire magic too right?

10? That's... That's a lot, right? But there are over a hundred people living in the village, most of them are starving to death. Their power levels might even be less than 1 for all I know.

Well, I guess I should get started as soon as possible.

I walk out the door, my sister gave me an annoyed glance before shrugging as I walked outside and made my way down to the village.

There were a lot of people outside, waving as I went by. Time to use it,

Command.

Instantly, one of the farmers jumped in the air, and then continued his work. That was my doing, and it was so smooth. I commanded the farmer to jump, and he did it instantly.

"Host used a low level command, so the farmer had obeyed without hesitation."

Oh, I get it. The farmer only jumped, it wasn't unusual to jump, and it wasn't something he wouldn't do. I'll just make 9 more farmers jump, then I'd get that point.

I went around the village, farmers jumping as I went. Around 26 farmers had jumped so far, he had accumulated 2 points and soon would get his third point so he could overpower his mother into giving him her magic.

He tried to use obey on another girl, one who looked weak but found it was slightly difficult to do so. The girl jumped in the end, signalling his 27th command but something was off.
