I Want to Attend School

Daniel stood up and walked back towards the top floor. Now, he completed his first quest and started to ponder what to do next. A few hours later, Daniel found a video where a 19 years old boy summoned his soul sword. The sword was a long broadsword, but the boy carried it easily, like a needle. It was a completely new experience to Daniel. He wanted to try it. Sadly, every detail regarding soul swords was highly confidential. The only way to learn was to enter a military school. He needed money for this.

Daniel was very interested in sword magic. Thus, he decided to contact his parents for the first time in his new life. His father was a high ranking government member with good sword skills. The family was extreme wealthy thanks to him. He was called Jack Lacranore. Jack always gave money to Daniel and always warned him that he will not give more. This time was different. Daniel wanted to attend school and he knew that his father will support him.

His mother was called Lara Lacranore and she owned her own fashion company called Lara Fashion.

Now, it was time for Daniel to contact his new parents. He remembered that Lara was a golden beauty and she was always angry when the previous Daniel begged for money. She was the strict one in the family.

Daniel picked up his phone and contacted Jack

"Hey father, how are you?"

"Daniel this is you? I'm fine, but I won't give you money this time. Your mother was very angry last time."

"No father, this time you misunderstood me. I want your help because I want to attend military school and learn swordsmanship."

Jack only said this and hung up the phone.

"Daniel is that you? No, I somehow knew this, but still, I can't believe it. What happened with you? How can you change so much?"

Jack was the first who asked the questions after he successfully regained his calmness. Then Daniel explained everything to them about his DNA evolving and the 15 days of unbelievable training. He kept only one secret and that was the system.

"A new race huh, even your personality changed. This is going to be written in history books. Now, let's talk about school. I will pay your tuition, but you have to work hard and get achievements. Those who do not work should not eat. Also, I can't help you with the entrance exam. You have to get in with your own potential. Is that clear?"

"Yes, everything is clear, but I still don't know which is the best school for me."

"I can help you with that. The International Swordsmanship School is the best. The goal of this school is to train the best swordsmen. They recruit every talent in the world. Their only criteria is talent and money. I can help you with the money part, but you are on your own when it comes to talent. My second recommendation is the school here, but only because I can control that school."

"Okay, then first I choose the International Swordsmanship School and attend the school here if I get rejected."

Meanwhile, Lara started pondering about something else. The godlike face of Daniel. He searched for models currently because her fashion company needed a new public face. Daniel was perfect for this role. Still, she decided to wait for results. If Daniel gets famous as a swordsman, then her company will benefit a lot. If Daniel is average, then the company will still benefit a lot because of his good looks.

"I called the International Swordsmanship School and mentioned your new race. They said that they send someone in a day to pick you up and test your talent. The school was very excited to hear news about a new race."

The parents left the top floor after a few more minutes of happy chatting. This is a happy day. The world very strongly supported the new races. The golden life just started for the Lacranore family.
