1 Chapter 1: Led Astray

My name is Ye Xiaofei, and I can be considered a highly talented individual with a master's degree.

However, my luck hasn't been great when it comes to finding a job after graduation.

Fortunately, my girlfriend is quite wealthy, so I often rely on her rented apartment for meals.

Today was no different.

As I arrived outside Xiaoman's apartment, I suddenly noticed her walking upstairs intimately with a middle-aged fat man, their bodies pressed tightly together, not leaving any gap.

"What the hell is going on?"

I was dumbfounded, not even realizing that the cigarette in my mouth had burned down to my butt, causing me to scorch my lips.

I stood motionless downstairs for over two hours, probably resembling a petrified sculpture.

It was only when Xiaoman and the content-looking middle-aged man came down the stairs that I snapped back to reality.

This adulterous pair, do they think I won't beat them up?

Without overthinking, I picked up a brick from the ground and headed toward the two of them.

Little did I know, the middle-aged man smiled and took out a wallet from his pocket, which seemed thicker with banknotes than the brick I held in my hand.

I hesitated instantly.

This man is wealthy; I can't afford to offend him!

Xiaoman hugged the middle-aged man affectionately, passionately kissing him.

She even put the money and wallet into her pocket.

The middle-aged man, seemingly satisfied, took out a credit card from his pocket, slipped it into Xiaoman's bra, and then groped her a few times.

He laughed lasciviously and got into a nearby Mercedes-Benz S600, proudly driving away.

Xiaoman waved her hand towards the departing Mercedes-Benz, her face beaming with a smile.

However, when she saw me standing at the entrance of the corridor, her expression suddenly froze, followed by a relieved look on her face as if a burden had been lifted.

"You saw everything?"

"I saw it!"

I nodded, still holding onto a glimmer of hope in my heart: Xiaoman, you were forced into it, you didn't do it willingly!

But reality slapped me hard in the face.

"Since you saw it, let's break up!"

Xiaoman walked past me, leaving behind a sentence,

"You can't give me anything!"

She stomped up the stairs.

Damn it, I may be down on my luck, but I'm still a man.

How dare you disrespect me like this and be so heartless?

I wanted to curse, but the words couldn't come out of my mouth.

I wanted to ask for some compensation for the breakup, but I couldn't gather the courage.

Indeed, I couldn't give her anything. I was a loser.

Ever since I quit my job two months ago, I hadn't found any employment.

I relied on my girlfriend for financial support.

I couldn't afford to buy a house or a car, and even the birthday gift for Xiaoman was something I bought from a wholesale market.

"Women..."

The frustration in my heart turned into boundless resentment.

I bought a bottle of liquor from a small shop and drank it while slipping back to my shabby worker's dormitory.

Unexpectedly, I ended up on Xiawei Road, where the streetwalkers teased and scolded me, seducing me with their gestures, and making me feel restless.

Now, the pent-up frustration inside me was beyond words, and I desperately needed an outlet.

Those seemingly non-serious girls ignited my desire.

Unconsciously, I found myself standing in front of a KTV on Longhua Road, lingering at the entrance, engaged in an internal struggle: should I go in or not? I still had around a thousand yuan with me, so the expenses shouldn't be too high, right?

The cool autumn breeze during the Mid-Autumn Festival season felt somewhat desolate.

Hearing the crisp laughter and seeing girls in short skirts passing by, I hesitated for more than ten minutes.

What the hell, why should I be afraid?

I'm single now, what's there to be taboo about?

I want to vent, I want to vent!

Summoning my courage, I pushed open the door and entered, feeling a heavy burden finally lifting off my chest.

As the saying goes: Immersed in the world of beauties, I am free.

Who dares to mock my inadequacy?

One day, when my vigor arises, I won't be concerned about principles anymore.
