65 Stopping a Half-Magic Weapon with bare hands

"HOW, JUST HOW DO YOU KNOW ALL OF THIS?!!"

The crazed voice of Tao Jian resounded as he raised his short swords in Long Shin's direction.

The latter pointed at his eyes as he said "Nothing can escape my eyes"

'Bare and naked'

This is what Tao Jian was feeling currently, his companion too shared the same fate, whenever Long Shin's eyes looked at them, they felt as though someone had striped them naked.

Long Shin had spoke out loud everything they wanted to hide, from the fact that they were sent by Shu Ming to the secret plan of Jin Donglai wanting to devour the whole river town city from years now.

Shao Zihao, and Ding Yun: The ‹Demon Heart Sect› wants to take control of the whole city!!?

Shao Zihao, Ding Yun, Long Shin, and even Tao Jian stared at Ding Meng with a deadpan expression that said 'Of all the things mentioned this is what shocked you the most?!'

Tao Jian came out of his stupor " You-You must've heard that little basterd Shu Ming speak about all this, now that you know about the grand elders plan we can't allow you to leave no matter what"

"Your speaking as though you planned to let us go before this" Long Shin said with a smirk.

"Y-You, brothers as you have seen this boy knows too much we can't allow him to live or grand elder will kill us if he found out"

As he spoke he looked at the two masked men who were standing a little behind him.

'…Wait why do I feel that they are standing even more distance away then before? Well whatever that's not important now'

The two were also outer court deacons like him from the ‹Demon Heart Sect› their names were Jia Niu and Cui De respectively.

Now that their identities were already revealed they didn't bother hiding their faces as they pulled down their respective masks.

Tao Jian was a middle-aged man with an average face, white hairs, and white beard.

He was already nearing the ends of his life, at least more then half of his lifespan had already been depleted by now, if he doesn't make a breakthrough the next layer soon he will die.

Jia Niu was also a middle-aged man, but compare to Tao Jian he looked much more younger.

He has black hairs coming to his shoulders and a thick black beard, a long gory scar starting from his right eye covered all the way to his neck.

Cui De seemed to be youngest of the three, he had hazel hairs and mustache, unlike Tao Jian and Jia Niu he didn't have any beard though.

Both Jia Niu and Cui De carried a double-edged sword and a pair of sharp yet slender daggers respectively.

Jia Niu looked at Long Shin and said "we must kill this brat immediately, he gives me a weird feeling" whenever the latter looked at the former, Jia Niu felt weird as though he is standing without any clothes.

Feeling was akin to seeing his naked reflection within Long Shin's eyes.

Cui De also had the same feeling but he didn't show it outside and kept his composure "He knows so much about us, it's plain impossible even for that little basterd to utter each and everything even if he is drunk, boy how do you know about us?" he asked Long Shin at the same time he released the pressure of 4th layer ‹Black-Iron› to pressure the latter to bow.

Long Shin knew what he was trying, although angered by his actions he still controlled himself and didn't erupt like previous time, he wanted to play with them after all.

Until now he had only fought with goblins and demonic boars.

The former could think a little but was still not able to think of complicated strategies, as for the latter well, outright brainless would be more appropriate.

He didn't have any combat experience with humans which can employ different strategies while attacking, now that these good peoples have willingly came here to become his exp dummies and even bought a few weaker good peoples with them, wouldn't it be very rude if he refused their offer.

He remained indifferent to Cui De's pressure as he said "Like I said nothing can escape my eyes"

His tone seemed annoyed about the fact that they were all asking the same question, he had already seen both Jia Niu and Cui De's status both of them had nothing that could interest him.

With his eyes Long Shin had already saw through them, what interest's him was that after the ‹Emotions› the ‹Relationship› section which previously showed 'Stranger' when he checked Shu Ming showed that the two in front of him already considered him as an enemy.

And the (★) showed the level of hatred they have against him, while (⚠) showed what they are thinking about him.

Anyways both of their status were fairly simple Cui De having good relationship with Jin Luhua's acting guardian was also not unexpected.

When Shu Ming hand arrived at the Leny's Fast Food with Jin Luhua her acting guardian was also there albeit hidden.

Long Shin had sensed him but because of the latter not being in the line of site he couldn't use ‹Universal Eye› on him.

On that note the guy was quite strong, at the Peak of ‹Black-Iron› rank, even more powerful then Ye Mo and Han Yong.

"You can't be left alive" saying that Tao Jian swung his short swords at Long Shin.

Both of the short swords moved at him at an inhuman speed, while Long Shin just stood there not even moving by an inch.

'Hump, and here I thought he was some sort of hidden master, I guess I can be wrong sometimes as well' seeing him not moving Tao Jian mistook him, thinking that he was frightened by the attack.

'Brother Shin move from there!!'

'This is bad, those short swords will slash at him at this rate'

The attack speed of a magister is no joke even the attack speed of a 3rd layer ‹Black-Iron› would be something normal humans will be unable to see let alone that of 4th layer, Shao Zihao and Ding brothers could only cry out internally.

"He, He, He" Tao Jian sneered thinking his attack connected, but…

"Is this all you got, don't tell me swinging your weapon mindlessly like a beast is the best you can do" Long Shin's cold voice broke the moment as well as the sneer from Tao Jian's face.

When everyone looked at him, they saw him effortlessly holding the blades of the sort swords right before they could touch him.

'Fast' that was the word in everyone's mind right now.

They didn't even saw how he moved or when he moved, in the next second before they even know iI, his hands held the blades of the short swords.

"How could you block my attack!?" Tao Jian asked in stupor.

"Oh, so that was your attack, you are so weak that I thought you were doing probing tactic or something" although he said that he was giving Tao Jian a mocking look which spoke the truth of the matter.

"You-" Tao Jian was speechless, the short swords in his hands were not normal metal or steel swords, instead they are both ‹Half-Magic Weapons› blocking them with human's bare hands was impossible, even for someone in the advance phases of ‹Black-Iron› rank, if not careful will be easily hurt by the weapons.

Weapons or treasures from ‹Black-Iron› rank to ‹GOLD› rank are called ‹Magic Weapons› and the weapons which are below the ‹Black-Iron› rank, yet still have magical properties are called ‹Half-Magic Weapons›

‹Half-Magic Weapons› are failed products which were unable to obtain all of the magical properties during the smelting process, it could be caused by either insufficient materials, and inefficient refining , etc.

Normal guns or swords are ineffective against a magister and won't pass their fleshy defense, only a ‹Half-Magic Weapons› which has a little bit of magical properties can hurt them, and even they will be rendered ineffective in front of someone at the Peak-Layer of ‹Black-Iron› rank.

To those at the peak-layer of ‹black-iron› rank only ‹Magic Weapons› which have fully absorbed magical properties during their smelting process and became at least Low-Grade ‹Black-Iron› rank can hurt them.

Although Long Shin wasn't someone at the Peak-Layer of ‹Black-Iron› rank, his attributes have far surpassed them, killing him using a ‹Half-Magic Weapon› is nothing but foolishness.

"Let go you basterd!!" Tao Jian tried to take back his sword, but no matter how much strength he used to pull it he failed.

"Sight, you are too weak even if I let you continue this pulling contest of yours for years you still won't be able to do anything, here have your stuffs back" saying that even before Tao Jian could open his mouth, Long Shin let go of the short swords, at the same time he used a bit of his strength and punched at the former.

"Ugth!!!" Tao Jian felt his guts churning as he couched out a mouthful of blood and was sent flying five meters back while clutching his stomach.

"Basterd*" he cursed in a low voice.

"Seriously, and here I only touched you lightly, you're already coughing out blood, just how weak are you people?"

When Shao Zihao and Ding brothers heard him their faces twitched nonstop 'Its not that he is weak brother Shin, instead you're outright monster' they cried internally.

Even thought Tao Jian wanted to kill them they still felt a pitiful amount of pity when they saw what happened to the latter.

Meanwhile hearing his words Tao Jian only felt the pain in his stomach growing more intense.

He looked at Long Shin with utter hatred, but his eyes failed to hide the immense amount of fear he felt from the latter.

Yes, he was feeling fear, if Long Shin was able to harm him, a person who is in the 4th layer of ‹Black-Iron› rank then it only served as a prove that he is stronger then him.

'5th layer, 6th layer, or even being in the 7th layer isn't impossible' as he thought of Long Shin being in the 7th layer of ‹Black-Iron› rank he felt shivers down his spine.

'Such powerful cultivation in less then twenty years old how frightening!!' he cried internally, his old bones were frightened just from the possibility alone that he didn't dare to continue thinking further.

If Tao Jian were to know that Long Shin wasn't even a Magister a few days ago, it's estimated that he will kill himself with a piece of tofu.

"Jia Niu, Cui De what are you standing there for, let's attack together the brat is too powerful if we attack one by one we will all die"
