82 Chapter 85 Reaching Peak Black-Iron Rank, Unusual Mana Veins, Powerful Storm Wolf King

Long Shin glanced at the remaining corpses which amounted to more than a few thousands.

Not wasting anymore time, he began to devour them at fastest speed, but this time he converted them into cultivation base.

...

[Ding! Congratulations your cultivation base has been elevated to 6th layered <Black-Iron> rank]

[Ding! Congratulations your cultivation base has been elevated to 7th layered <Black-Iron> rank]

Soon the notifications of having his cultivation base improved came with refreshing feeling of having his own personal power increasing rapidly.

Of course, even though he had gone up two minor layers he still continued devouring the remaining corpses.

[Ding! Congratulations your cultivation base has been elevated to 8th layered <Black-Iron> rank]

"Not enough, continue devouring"

[Ding! Congratulations your cultivation base has been elevated to 9th layered <Black-Iron> rank]

After the cultivation base was improved to 9th layer, the signs of improvement were very slow compared to before.

This showed the immense natural gap between one at peak of <Black-Iron> rank and one at 9th layer of <Black-Iron> rank

Long Shin wasn't afraid because he still had many corpses to use.

I fissure appeared in front of his palm and sucked the corpses near him within it with frantic speed.

The corpses that he devoured were rapidly converted into spiritual energy as they were absorbed within his body.

Long Shin had a faint feeling of some chains loosening as he continued devouring the corpses.

He kept devouring more and more corpses, he focused his mana on hammering the imaginary chains he felt.

"Break!" he loudly shou8ted as his mana gave a final strong push.

CRACK! CRACK!

Cacha!

The sound of collisions and cracking.

Until finally the chain snapped apart.

ZEN!

Long Shin felt a cool sensation as mana began to run smoothly throughout his mana veins.

The sudden mana was like an out of controlled flood that finally broke free of the dam that kept it restrained.

His whole body was covered by some sort of transcendent air.

The rocks near him began to float in midair, the grass near him stood tall like soldiers, the tress began to sway as though they were about to fall.

Throughout the area intense pulse of mana gushed out in all four directions with Long Shin as its center.

This was the mana that had started to run rampage.

The mana he was trying to absorb was far too much even for the current him to sustain.

From his every pores the excess mana was being released as it transformed into waves of mana spreading in all directions.

ZEN!!!

Suddenly the silent scroll in his body began to tremble slightly.

The <Primordial Chaos Scripture> and <The Primordial Dark Sovereign's Infinite Battle Tactics> started to revolve within his body.

The mana that ran rampage began to show signs of lessening.

It was forcibly restrained by the power of the two techniques.

The mana running through his mana veins now didn't ran like a mad group of bulls without any directions.

Instead, it was now flowing like a spring river, it followed a strange pattern, a strange rout as it flowed through his mana veins.

But, strangely enough that wasn't the most shocking thing occurring currently.

The mana that was flowing through his veins was separated into two streams.

One was shining with multicolored light releasing the radiance of gold as it flowed, while other was split into dark and light color, black and white, as the streams of mana moved it released a strange blood-red glow.

Surprisingly enough even though both of these streams of mana were running within the same mana veins, they were each following a different set of patterns as they flowed.

This should normally be impossible, just like a river which can only move in one direction the mana flowing within a magister's mana veins can only follow single set of patterns when it flows.

And even if someone tried to follow two different sets of patterns when moving their mana within their mana veins, their mana veins will rupture.

They can become a person with cripple mana veins, their mana veins won't be able to regulate mana anymore.

...even the possibility of death wasn't far.

Yet, within Long Shin's mana veins two different streams of mana who were following two different sets of patterns as they ran didn't collide with each other.

They didn't tackle each other in their route and flowed calmly.

Both ran smoothly without bothering the other, even if there were times were both had the same route, they became ethereal and passed through each other.

One after another mana cycles were completed as Long Shin's mana veins regulated his mana throughout his body.

[Ding! Congratulations your cultivation base has been elevated to 10th layered <Black-Iron> rank]

Only after the mountain of corpses disappeared did the modification of him reaching the peak of <Black-Iron> Rank sounded in his mind.

One had to know that many were stuck in the 9th layer of <Black-Iron> rank because of the shackles that obstructed them in the form of chains, restraining their mana. And these shackles didn't just exist for those who wanted to step into the peak of their ranks, these shackles exist in every layer of every rank based on the natural talent and growth potential of a magister.

Some people spend their entire life trying to break them only to fail miserably as they died of old age.

The prime examples of those stuck in their realm shackles are Ye Mo and Han Yong.

Both of the old family heads were stuck in the 8th and 9th layers of <Black-Iron> rank respectively.

If they didn't come face to face with some sort of Fortunos encounters, they will probably die due to old age with their cultivation stuck in the same layer.

'Let's move on to grind some more, I need to collect enough skill points and system points'

'I also promised Minger that I will give her a flying-type pet' at the thought of cerulean haired beauty Long Shin couldn't help but smile a little.

He recalled every dark soldiers back into his shadow except for the tempest wolf who found the location of the village and storm who will act as a mount for him.

He slowly climbed on the back of the winged wolf as big as a truck, even though Storm had his own pride as an apex predator knowing that the one trying to climb on his back was none other than his own sovereign, he didn't put even a slightest resistance.

The winged wolf even lowered his own body as to allow his sovereign to climb on his back with ease.

"Let's go, take us to the main goblin village" the tempest wolf ran with his fastest speed and Storm leisurely followed behind.

Storm's movement and flying speed was naturally incomparable to a normal tempest wolf, if he wanted to could leave the other party miles behind in but a few dozen seconds.

Both the tempest wolf leading them and Storm didn't have any problem while running at their top speed in the forest.

When small obstacles cam in their way, they will glide and if a big obstacle came, they will simply send out a wind blast, which is a wind-type basic skills for tempest wolf.

Because of their strong cultivation base whatever was hit by the wind blast would turn into pieces.

Storm was even more domineering, he didn't even attack most of the time the guy directly rammed through any obstacle that stood in front of him.

Be it huge boulders our trees that spammed for tens of meters everything that came into the path of the Wolf King was destroyed, he left a trail of destruction as he ran.

If someone saw it, they will say a beast tide had been running rampage over the area.

Both the tempest wolf and Storm ran for about ten minutes before they got to one of the goblins main villages.

In this past ten minutes both the wolves had crossed over tens of miles in total with speed no less than over 400kmps.

This speed was possible not only because of their cultivation base but also because the tempest wolves are all darlings of the wind.

This resulted in every tempest wolf being extremely agile compare to a normal creature with the same cultivation base.

Long Shin got off the back of Storm and in the process, he also checked the guy's stats. Something that he had forgotten about previously.
