Chapter 1: Lin Haoran

Beijing, China

"Are you serious?"

"How can internet connectivity be this trash, especially in a metropolitical city?!"

"I can't even get the cab's accurate location…"

A man around the age of twenty walked back and forth at the gate of his apartment society. He had an average face, with a height of about 1.78m, slightly above average for men. His build was decent but nothing noteworthy. In simple words, his appearance wouldn't make him stand out in the crowd.

"Even though its only 2019 but still…." He talked as if he was from the future.

Which he was.

Lin Haoran was from a certain blue planet. While he was binge reading a newly-discovered novel, he overexerted himself and ended up dying from hunger.

He had went back home after the 3rd semester has ended but now the 4th semester was starting and today was the first day.
