The phone vanishes into a wisps of light before a new prompt occurs within her mind. A floating message appearing in front of her eyes.

"Okay. I think I know what your going to say so let's stop that. I have heard that two times already..."

["Eeep! Sorry...!"]

He is surprised when the new system that he just created suddenly turned panicky and meek.

"Woah!? I didn't meant to scare you!" He flails his arms in a panic, shocked at the sudden emotions that the system is conveying.

["Hah... thank goodness. I thought I would be thrown out just because of my rudeness...."]

"Hey, that's a bit harsh for yourself!"

["I'm sorry!"]

Just by the few conversation that he got, he is already feeling a headache. He thinks this system will be quite a handful.

"... Okay. So what you can do?"

["Y-yes! These are all my capabilities!"]

The new system listed out all the things that she can do, and Neil hums in satisfaction, impressed at the system.

The Ultimate Mobile System seems to be a Superior System. Being a Superior System, it have developed it's own emotions. It also have many functions within it.

The common ones are the shop, and the inventory. Other than that, this system is also capable of hacking reality, introducing new elements to the world. This system can change the values of a person and turn them more powerful, or weaker depending on it's mood.

Though, it needs points so it can do it's stuff. Without points, it would be impossible to use it's functions.

Good thing, he can acquire points from it through converting something. So he decided to give it thousands of infinite pizza boxes so it will become possible.

"Anyway, how does this changing values works?"

["Right! I only need to scan you and see your capabilities through numerical values. I can edit those values depending on how much points I can use."]

"Good! Can you change my values?"

["Gladly!"]

He saw a new panel opening, showing a wide array of sections that he can't make sense at all. He reads some of it, showing some codes like A1C1GHXC4, but that's all there is to it. It have a diagram of his body, but it is not listing each part of his body as either the right arm or the left foot. It's just random alphanumeric combinations that seems to number in the trillions, if not the quadrillions.

["What!?"]

The system gasped, making him concerned at it.

"What is it?"

["Your body is overly qualified to this mortal world. If you start cultivating now, you'll quickly rise to the top!"]

Hearing the beautiful voice of the system exclaiming in excitement, he can only believe it.

"Wait... there's cultivation on this world?"

["Yes. Why?"]

He haven't seen anyone who have done that personally. He can't really sense Qi, or anything weird within the atmosphere. He also didn't have any some unexplained insights that just appears on his mind.

He told it to the system, and the system hummed in contemplation before finally responding.

["It might be because you didn't have any cultivation roots."]

"Cultivation Root?"

["Yes. A Cultivation Root is a spiritual part of your body that can sense Qi and absorbed it, turning it into your strength Nd ascending your rank to immortality."]

"Oh... then, it's impossible for me to cultivate."

He really didn't mind. He have read cultivation novels, and he didn't like how they live their life at all. It's always full of struggles and the fate just being assholes to the MC, and sometimes the MC is the one looking for trouble.

What he wanted is to be safe. Look for his family, and then have a peaceful life without causing trouble to others.

A total opposite of what a cultivator should do.

It sounds so offended just hearing him saying that. It's like he is insinuating that it will brainwash him just so he can become strong with the mindset of a cultivator.

Which is true on some System novels he read. There are some MCs who are cowardly in nature, and after being upgraded by the System, they were also implanted some form of personality or memory that makes them ruthless or cold to anyone they perceive as their enemy.

He didn't want that to happen to him. Cultivation is too violent for him.

"Okay. So how can I become a powerful cultivator without having that mindset?"

"Hooo...." A familiar female voice sounded out besides him.

He jumps up in surprised noticing Odette and Dinah being besides him. It seems like even the new system is surprised at their sudden appearance.

"You wanted to be a Cultivator? Then why didn't you say so? I would have given you all the best resources in the whole cosmos!" Odette declared with her chest puffed up.

"I can also do that." Even with the cold admittance, Dinah's eyes seems to be burning up with determination.

The new system seems to be scared out of her mind just seeing the two girls. The two girls in question then stared somewhere in the air, and he heard the new system whimpering in fear.

"So your the new system. You really have the guts to say you can do better, when your just a Superior System!" Odette snorted in disdain.

"Be a Supreme System first before saying something like that." Dinah added with a cold stare.

["I-i'm sorry! I didn't meant to offend you!"]

Seeing the new system being greatly distressed, he decided to give it a hand.

"Okay girls, just stop. Your making it uncomfortable."

The two looks at him with Odette directing a pout on his way.

"Neil, why didn't you tell us about it. We can turn you into a Cultivator whenever you want!"

He scratches the back of his head. "Honestly, I have no idea you can do that. I just thought your some niche system with shops and inventory."

"Also. I don't want to become a cold and ruthless person. I am fine being like this, without trying to have a stuck up mindset like those cultivators."

This is his honest thoughts. He sees cultivators as just those people who are self-righteous. They see their own principles as always right, even if the others doesn't see it that way.

He might be called the slave of society by thinking like this, but he really thinks that societal norms are truly the best mindset to have. Not looking for trouble, not trying to start anything, and staying to themselves.

Saving the world and becoming some fantasy hero can be left to other people. For him, citizen life is fine as it is.

Of course, he will accept being a cultivator if it didn't have any of the disadvantages that comes along with it.

Why would he even take a risk like changing his personality just to become stronger? He didn't want that at all!

"Wait. So I don't have to risk my life out there?" They nodded. "I also don't have to go around and killing people just to strengthen my mind or some other nonsense?" Another nod.

He stares at them for awhile before nodding slowly.

That's what he is really looking for. So long as he got powers without the "Kill people" requirement on it, he will consider it.

Power with the price of killing someone is just cold and ruthless. It doesn't even make sense in his own perspective.

"Okay. What should I do?"

"Would you like to unlock your Cultivation Roots?" Odette inquired.

"As long as it didn't cause a shift in my personality, then yes."

After a blink, he suddenly felt something on the atmosphere. It's a mystical feeling that he can't really describe with simple words. If he is forced to explain, he can only think like some form of temperate energy going around and touching his metaphysical senses.

"Congratulations! Now you can cultivate!" Odette said with a clap.

He don't know that this day will come to the point that he will become a cultivator. He didn't feel any urge to kill someone or try to breakthrough a lot so he can achieve immortality.

He is still him, the one who respects life and is still stuck with the civilized mindset.

This is good for him. With this power, he thinks it will be more harder to kill him than when he is just upgrading his body.

'Wait, the new system said that I am overqualified to cultivate on this world. Is it because I kept upgrading my body?' He thought in wonder.

On the side of his mind, the new system seems to be sulking. It felt like it has been ignored after the two system suddenly appears.
