1 Rebirth

Adrian looked at the ceiling, or at least the cracked rotting planks above his head, contemplating life. One moment he was sleeping in his comfy bed after studying for his last week of high school, the next he was here. He did not even have time to prepare before memories flooded in. Blinking, then lifting his hand to block the light leaking through the cracks and clenching his tiny fist. Correcting himself, he was Liu Linyuan now.

Sitting up sluggishly while wincing, he tried to organize his recent memories and current situation. He is 8 years old now. Second, he has broken memories of his body's future. Third, he is in a cultivation world. Fourth, his body is without talent.

"Cultivation is supposed to be against heaven and the original owner." Liu Linyuan whispered.

Quickly shaking his head before stopping in pain, he went back to his thoughts. My body has no talent, actually it's worse than having no talent. It's a hindrance. With the fragmental memories of his body's future, he realized a glaring fact. He was in one of the crappy stories he read just to pass the time. Bringing up the fifth point.

Letting out a deep sigh with a brittle voice.

"And I'm one of the main villains."

That novel was about a Ger that was abused and neglected by his family. After awakening his martial spirit, his mother divulged that the person he always treated as a father was unrelated to him and that his true father was from outside the continent. She then gave Liu An the herb left behind by his father to fully awaken his martial spirit, resulting in its promotion to heaven's grade, the highest known grade in the story. Then he traveled, made friends, and fell in love with an asshat, becoming one of the greatest geniuses of the era.

That is where the villain comes in, always competing with the main character over treasures and, in the conclusion, after becoming a notorious demon was besieged and sealed.

Liu Linyuan put his hand on his forehead as he let out a depressing sigh. Of how unfortunate that self was, however, he still could not help marvel at it at the same time.

From the book, no one knew the villain's name, only that they could compete with the MC, his friends, as well as the allied forces by themselves. Even when alone, he killed almost half of them during their final battle, and all they could do was seal him away. The only thing known about his past. Was when the MC and the survivors found 'Liu Linyuan' abode with a part of his story. The writing went from elegant to becoming scribbles over time, making everyone realize that the writing was his attempt to remember who he was, but failed and became consumed by his inner demon.

From the memories of the future, Liu Linyuan marveled at his other half. He realized that the villain was born with a body that had no talent. While also only having half a soul, yet he not only competed with heaven's son but almost out right killed him.

From this, it encouraged Liu Linyuan a little. He had a bitter smile for the future, but at least his soul was complete.

The thing that felt strange was through the memory fragment he discovered. Not only was he the last boss, but was also many of the unnamed characters that the MC ran into. Who played a role in the story, including a well-known assassin, freelance talisman, forge, and array master.

His lips couldn't help but twitch. Hell, He even dressed like a common farmer to sell spiritual herbs he grew.

"Just how many roles did I play in this story?"

Liu Linyuan took a deep breath to calm his nerves and think rationally.

"Well, I guess it makes sense after all, he …I … future me."

Pausing for a moment, after stuttering, he thought for a quick second.

"Lets just go with Liu, anyway Liu must have spent every minute either searching for cultivation manuals to increase his cultivating speed or ways to earn money to lessen his body's hindrance."

"Well, at least in this life, the MC and his merry band won't have a life or death grudge with me in the future. Right?"

Liu Linyuan weakly squeezed out.

He got up slowly while hissing. He loosened the belt and opened his robes, which were a fading gray. What met his eyes were black and blue welts all over his body.

He fixed his clothes and went outside to the yard overgrown with weeds and the courtyard walls in some areas completely collapsed. Turning around to see the slanted house where, when the wind blew, strange whistle noises would sound.

Liu Linyuan churned on his heels and headed to the well. Pressing On the crank to bring the bucket of water up. Every so often, he would have to take a break before the bucket reached the top.

Pouring water into a smaller bucket next to the well then slowly carrying it inside while shutting the door behind him. Following his memory, to dig into the bed of straw, taking out a porcelain bottle. Opening the cap and only taking one of the five pills inside and then restoring the bottle before dropping the pill in the bucket. Turning around to grab a rag in the corner then undressing, returnig to the bucket that was now filled with a green liquid with a pungent smell. Wasting no time, he dipped the rag into the liquid before smearing it on his body. Repeating this until he wiped every inch of his body 5 times, then stopped.

He stood there for about a minute until the green paste on his body faded and redressed. While dressing, he couldn't help but look at the little light-pink dot on his inner thigh with furrowed brows. Every ger had a red dot on their body to show they differed from men. The darker the color, the more fertile with dark red being the darkest.

"Even if I'm a ger, I'll never be a bottom."

Liu Peng grumbled with downcast eyes.

Gers have more feminine features than men usually having an androgynous look. Because of the malnutrition and abuse from his fellow clansmen, only his now deceased mother and he knew about it.

Liu Linyuan laid back down on the straw bed, resting for the day.

"Tomorrow will start another hellish session of cultivation."

Closing his eyes and relaxed for the last time, he will be able to for the next foreseeable future.
