Jealousy

The atmosphere on the dance floor is so serene. Danny could see clearly, John Louis headed to the dance floor with his partner. That woman was also beautiful and young.

For some reason Danny was reluctant to meet John when he was with Caroline. He wants to enjoy his happiness without being disturbed by his negative thoughts, or rather he doesn't want to be disturbed by his jealousy.

Is Danny jealous? To be honest, Danny was jealous. And it seems that it is a natural thing experienced by couples. As long as it's not blind jealousy. Danny really loves Caroline and he doesn't want to lose Caroline.

Danny and Caroline continue to dance. He hugged Caroline's waist affectionately while Caroline hugged Danny's neck. Their eyes looked at each other. Danny kissed Caroline's cheeks and lips several times, then stroked her hair and hugged her tightly.

In the midst of this intimacy, Caroline didn't realize that Danny kept glancing at John Louis who was also dancing with his girlfriend. They were far enough away that John Louis didn't know where Danny and Caroline were.

From his place, Danny could see John and his girlfriend. Actually, Danny thought the woman was John's girlfriend, while Caroline was his ex so he didn't need to be jealous anymore. But somehow he felt something else. He was afraid of losing Caroline if John and Caroline met again.

"Baby, promise me," Danny whispered to Caroline.

"What promise, Honey?" Caroline answered, stroking Danny's cheek affectionately.

"Promise that you will never leave me,"

"What? I never thought about leaving you, Honey. We will be together," Caroline hugged Danny.

"Forever..." Danny kissed Caroline's lips. They kissed for several minutes until Caroline was out of breath.

Danny let go of Caroline's lips, but it seemed like the man wasn't satisfied, then he kissed those beautiful lips several times again.

"Honey, can we go home now?" Caroline suddenly wanted to go home.

"Why, Baby? do you feel tired?" Danny was surprised that Caroline asked him to come home. But actually he was happy because he didn't want to stay in that place for long.

"No Honey, I want to meet you with my mom. Are you willing?"

"Why not, Baby? I would be very happy if I could meet your mom. I want to tell your mom that I really love you and want to have a serious relationship with you," Danny felt very happy.

"Really? then, let's go see my mom," Caroline pulled Danny's hand away from the dance floor.

John Louis was hugging Nancy at that time. Both of them were lulled into the music of romantic songs so they didn't pay attention to the situation around them. But when he saw Danny and Caroline come off the dance floor, John suddenly turned his head. The man could see the back of Caroline. The body shape of the girl that was always in his memory.

John let go of his embrace. He tried to hunt the girl. Nancy squealed in surprise.

"My darling, what happened with you?" Nancy asked in surprise.

"Ah, she is..." The only words that came out of his lips. John didn't try to chase anymore because Nancy was already holding his arm tightly.

"Who is she? Is it a woman? Tell me my darling," Nancy said probingly. The woman's eyes continued to stare at John's face which looked nervous. But John continued to remain silent.

Ah, is that woman Caroline? but could she be in this place? but with whom? with her new boyfriend? Several questions plagued John Louis' mind.

John Louis unsteadily walked off the dance floor. He didn't even pay attention to Nancy who kept calling him. John's mind kept going to the woman he had just seen, which he was sure was Caroline, the woman he had always loved and had always been present in his dreams.

Nancy looked very annoyed that John Louis suddenly fell silent and became disinterested. The woman tried to attract the man's attention. Nancy began massaging and stroking John's shoulders. Then Nancy also hugged and kissed him tenderly. But unexpectedly, John removed Nancy's hand.

"Never mind, don't seduce me. I'm in a bad mood!" the man said briefly.

"My darling, what's wrong?" Nancy was very surprised.

"Let us go home!" John Louis stood up and rushed out of the restaurant to his car. Nancy followed behind him while continuing to call his name.

John Louis' mind was in turmoil. If he wasn't with Nancy at the time, he would have caught up with Caroline and met her. Oh, damn!

John started the car quickly. Nancy screamed. John didn't care, he wanted to immediately take the woman back to her apartment and then wanted to enjoy his solitude with Caroline's shadow.

"My darling, will you take me to my apartment?" the woman asked.

"Yes that's right,"

"It's still afternoon. I want to be with you. I want to be with you," Nancy shook John's arm.

"Shut up!" John shouted at Nancy telling her to shut up.

Nancy immediately fell silent. The woman widened her eyes in disbelief that John had shouted at her.

"Oh my God. You shouted at me. Why did you yell at me?" Nancy started crying.

John Louis stopped the car in the apartment yard then told Nancy to get out of the car. After that John continued his journey back to the Green House Restaurant. He wanted to convince himself that the woman he seen on the dance floor was Caroline.

John Louis approached two receptionists who were chatting. John asked about Caroline while mentioning the girl's features. They looked serious for a few minutes. From their conversation, it appears that John is one of the restaurant's loyal customers, so the two receptionists know John.

After the first meeting between Danny Alexander and John Louis some times ago at the restaurant to talk about joint projects, John often came alone to the restaurant, and sometimes he brought Nancy along. The Green House Restaurant became new favorite place for him.

"That's right, Sir. The characteristics of the girl you mentioned have just visited here. We can tell because coincidentally there weren't too many visitors to the restaurant this afternoon," One of the receptionists said to John who was increasingly convincing John about Caroline.

"Did she came alone or with someone?"

"The girl came with Mr. Danny Alexander. Mr. Danny is also our loyal customer," John Louis gasped at the last sentence. Danny Alexander?

"Danny Alexander?" John asked to be more reassuring.

"That's right, Sir. She came with Mr. Danny Alexander. He is CEO of the biggest advertising company in this city,"

John Louis felt his head suddenly dizzy. The man bit his lip. Danny Alexander? Is it true?
