31 CH 31 ~ Jealousy

The three of them turned around in unison as soon as Alex's cold voice rang from behind, and Rennie felt a little guilty.

He had asked her to stay at home and rest, where she sneaked out from the house secretly and now caught by him red handed.

She subconsciously hide behind Marine and Alex scoffed at her after seeing her reaction.

'Not only she sneaked out, but she is also meeting some wild man! Just wait till we reach home- No one can save you today!'

Tristian's eyes narrowed a little as he sensed the weird atmosphere between the two people infront of him.

Although her face had no emotion, but she looked relaxed... like she was assure that everything will be okay now.

"This matter is between Ren and me, it's better if you don't interfere as an outsider, President Crawford!"

Tristian spoke as he felt uneasy after seeing the interaction between Alex and Rennie.

They understand each others body language so well that, they didn't even need to speak to explain.

'Why is Alexander Crawford here? What's their relationship?'

'A normal girl like Rennie has no way to know a big-shot like him...'

But his words made someone snap out from his daze, who was recalling the moment when he had saw Rennie for the first time.

She was wearing a white dress that day too, and looked so beautiful that he had forgotten that he was running late.

After they meet again, Rennie seldom wear normal dresses like this.

Her closet is full of luxurious suits and expensive dresses for party's, as she had to maintain her image as the CEO.

Which also suited her arrogant and cold personality perfectly.

But this normal white floral dress made her look soft and innocent... she looked cute like a rabbit to him.

The frown on Alex's face deepen more and it's coldness increased, as he moved his gaze away from his little wife to the man infront of him.

'I forgot about this bastard for a moment... did he just called my wife by her nickname?'

Marine decided to stay quite as her professionalism as an secretary got into her again, and Alex grabbed Rennie's wrist to pull her in his embrace.

"I was here for a meeting but never expected that i would find Mr. Ferguson to act like this... towards my wife-"

"As her husband... Do you really think am interfering to much?"

Alex deliberately slowed down his last sentence for Tristian to hear it perfectly, and he felt proud after finally getting to claim her as his.

'She didn't wanted to let others know that Rennie Millicent is my wife; then i can seize this chance to claim this Rennie as mine...'

Seeing the shocked expression in Tristian's face, Alex felt satisfied and sensing her intense glaring, he just smirked at her devilishly.

'This is your punishment for deceiving me...'

Rennie understood his gaze and gave him a final warning look as their relationship can't be hidden from Tristian anymore.

'You better act perfectly or get out of the stage!'

'PFF-'

Alex's lips curved up into a smile as he likes it when she acts spoiled like this and looked at her gently.

Having her in his embrace made him feel like it has been thousand of years since he got her in his arms, ans she didn't struggled to get away from him.

A part of him also ached with regret because of his past foolishness, which is why they are like this now.

'Haizz... I should buy some more dresses like this for her, she looks too cute in this kind of dresses.'

But his happy mood was ruined because of Tristian's words once again.

"Ren... is this true?"

"..."

'Why is this bastard still calling her Ren?'

Alex furrowed his brows before his body became stiff as Rennie wrapped her hands around his waist and a mocking smile appeared on her face.

"That's right! He is my husband. The one and only man in my life!"

Rennie spoke as she turned to face Alex with a happy smile, and he knew that she was actually gritting her teeth at this moment for those words.

Which was true. Rennie spoken those words to match Alex words and piss off Tristian.

Nothing feels more better when your current one is better in everything then your ex.

But the grin on Alex face started to bother her too, who felt proud after getting recognition as her husband.

'Endure it, Rennieeeh... Violence is not an option in public!'

"What- YOU ONLY SAID THIS TO SPITE ON ME, RIGHT?!"

Rennie hissed in pain as her wrist was suddenly grabbed by Tristian tightly as he spoke out loudly, where his wrist was caught by Alex with a furious look on his face.

"HOW DARE YOU TO TOUCH MY WIFE?!"

The two adult man looked at each other aggressively as none of them wanted to back out or admit defeat.

"AS I HAVE SAID BEFORE... THIS IS BETWEEN REN AND ME, PRESIDENT CRAWFORD."

"I HAVE ALSO SAID THAT, I HAVE THE RIGHT TO INTERFERE AS HER HUSBAND!"

'When did they got married? There is no news of him getting married- They are lying for sure!'

Tristian turned his gaze towards Rennie, who was looking another way to avoid this childish conflict and spoke with a painful voice.

"Ren... If you are doing this to piss me off- then you should choose an more acceptable man to do this..."

"Everyone knows how close President Crawford and CEO Millicent are... why would he marry an nobody like you?!"

"THEN DO YOU THINK I AM SO FREE LIKE YOU THAT, I WILL LEAVE MY MEETING TO ACT WITH A 'NOBODY' TO PISS OFF HER WORTHLESS EX?!"

Alex fumed with anger as he spoke in a deep cold voice.

'Why did a sensible person like her fall for an idiot like him?'

'But still i have to thank this idiot for cheating with another clown... giving me the chance to be her husband.'

"REN! HE IS LYING RIGHT?!"

"IF YOU ARE MARRIED THEN WHY YOU DON'T HAVE A RING ON YOUR FINGER?"

"WHY WOULD YOU TAKE REVENGE ON THE STAN'S, HATE STELLA SO MUCH; IF YOU DON'T HAVE ME IN YOUR HEART?"

"..."

'Is he really a idiot? I regret choosing him and waste my precious first relationship.'

Rennie sighed as she couldn't understand why people thinks she is lying when she denies her relationship with Alex, but also doesn't believes her when she admits their relationship.

Where Alex became unusually calm after hearing Tristian's words.

"Young Master Ferguson... Don't be a narcissist. You claimed to love me and ended up at my friends bed. Either you believe or not, am married now."

"The Stan's made me suffer and i will never let go of anyone who made me suffer- mmph!!"

Tristian's eye widened with shock and felt like his heart has been stabbed by something, as he watched Alex kissing Rennie publicly.

His wrist, which was gripping Rennie's wrist was yanked away by Alex and he subconsciously took a few steps back.

'Ren...'

Alex ignored the shocked passerby and kissed her hungrily to calm down as he failed to control his jealousy.

The fact that Tristian might have hold her or probably kiss her, or how she had given him her heart made Alex angry.

He knows that everyone have their past and it was him who had suddenly disappeared right after his graduation to join the army training; missed the time to make her fall for him first.

But still he couldn't control himself while imagining things that the two of them might have done as an young couple.

'It was me who had her first time... Am her husband, why is he still butting in as an useless ex?'

Alex cupped the back of her head with one hand as his another hand pulled her stiff body because of his sudden action, more closer with another hand.

Rennie felt like her mind has stopped working because of his aggressive kiss, and rest her both hands on his chest motionlessly.

She was too surprised to react and just stood still, letting him just kiss her as she can't push him away infront of Tristian.

Seeing Tristian's angry expression, which was full of pain; Alex felt satisfied and his jealousy subdued a little.

But seeing that she wasn't pushing him away, Alex took this chance to deepen their kiss as he sucked her lips more intimately and Rennie's eyes widen in embarrassment.

'I-Is he insane? We are in public!!!'
