1 Hero's Birth and Tragedy!

A long, long, long, long time ago… Well, not that long. Let's try something else. Let's start over.

Once upon a time, there was a place much like Earth which was divided into different kingdoms: the Human kingdom, ruled by humans; the Raeria kingdom, ruled by elves; and the Roria kingdom, ruled by druids. There were also the Yailum Kingdom, which resided in hell, and the Avrunid Kingdom, which resided in heaven, but no one had ever attacked them as, although they had all heard the stories of these kingdoms existence, no one had actually seen them or their people.

Elves and druids had a long, never-ending fight against each other. In their fight, humans were neutral. Now, you guys are probably thinking, "Huh, if humans were to help any of them, there is no way humans could win against them." Well, if you are thinking that, you're wrong. Think again. Humans had magic to protect them.

Everyone on this earth like place had some sort of magic they could use. The most common was human's ability to control a certain element — might that be fire, water, or earth — but they weren't limited to it.

The most shocking thing on this place was how human's dressed when we here about elves and druids we think they will be animals and wearing nothing. When thinking of humans as it is a kingdom they will be wearing heavy gold and ancient clothes. But it was the opposite in this world. Human's wore clothes from Jeans to T-Shirts same goes for Elves and druids.

There had been some geniuses born in recent years who could use more than one element. Every magic in this world had levels on how strong you could be. There were two ways to train: the first and easiest one was to train your soul. The other one was only used by people who didn't have any talent with soul training, and that was to train one's body to become strong.

Pretty Unusual, right?

[In all the years, there had only been one person who had become a successful fighter after training his body. Usually, people who train their bodies die at a young age because of the stress that magic puts on their bodies.]

6 A.M. Early in the morning, the king of the human's kingdom was out strolling, looking at how his people were doing. This was his habit. He had done this every day since he had become king so that he could see if his people were happy or not. The name of this king was Hou Chen. When he was returning home, he felt something coming from a mysteriously cold, and dark alley.

He started walking toward it to see what was there. What he found there amazed him. It was a baby covered in a small cloth with weird inscriptions on it. The king of this kingdom was a kindhearted person, and he couldn't just see a baby alone in a dangerous-looking alley without doing something. So he decided to take him home. It took Hou Chen two hours to get home because his castle was on top of a mountain, but in just those two hours, the king got attached to the baby.

By the time the king arrived home, he had already decided a name for the baby. Zhan-yu. The king already had two sons and one daughter of his own. The queen and the eldest son were not happy with the addition of another kid to the family. On the other hand, the younger son and the king's daughter adored him.

Just like that, sixteen years passed. Zhan-yu was no longer an adorable baby but had grown to be 5'10 or 177 cm. He had small, innocent eyes and a muscular and athletic physique, but no one could tell because of the clothes he liked to wear. He wore oversized clothes that helped him hide his physique. No one knew how strong he was. He had learned how to fight under the great general Lei-Tai. It was a secret between the general and him. No one could tell that he could even give General Lei-Tai a run for his money in a fight.

Today was Zhan-yu's 16th birthday, and a lot of people had gathered for this celebration. As always, you could see the two people that were always unhappy when looking at Zhan-yu, the queen and the eldest son.

King Hou Chen declared the start of the celebration, but just as the king was about to have his glass of wine, an arrow came piercing through his heart. Zhan-yu ran toward the king.

"Father, are you alright?"

General Lei-Tai came running too. "Quickly, take the king inside the mansion. Every soldier should follow me and find the assassin who tried to kill our king."

When they came inside, the king asked everyone to leave his room. He wanted only Zhan-yu to stay. As soon as everyone left the room, the king told Zhan-yu, "Son, I wanted to never have to tell you this, but son, you are not one of us." Zhan-yu didn't react as he was crying. All he said was, "Father, you should not be speaking." Hou Chen resumed and said, "Son, when you were a baby, I found you in a dark alley. After I took you home, I sent General Lei-Tai to check that mysterious alley. When the general arrived, he found five dead people. After Lei-Tai investigated, he found out that they were some of the most wanted criminals of the human kingdom."

Zhan-yu was shocked by what his father was saying, but he still tried to make his father stop talking again. "Father, I don't understand what you are saying, but please stop talking. It is bad for you in your condition." But Hou Chen knew that if he stopped, he wouldn't be able to speak again. He knew this was his end. With him taking his last breath, the king told him, "Son, I don't know what you are or what mysterious powers you have, but don't forget that you will always be my precious son. Please protect this kingdom." And just like that, Hou Chen died.

All that the people standing outside could hear was Zhan-yu crying and shouting, "Father, father, no, come back. How can you leave me alone?

Father.

Father.

Father…"
