Dark World

Flora was already sprawled out with blood pouring from her head. This girl could not move her body and could only stay still. She saw the red Porsche that hit her before Flora knew that the owner of the car had chosen to run away than to take responsibility. The girl then was fainted in her place.

"Gosh! Flora!" a girl in a jeans suit and sweater who got out of the taxi screamed after seeing her best friend fainted.

"Flora! Wake up! Flora! Geez. What exactly happened to you?" Darcy said while shaking her best friend's body whose skin was getting cold.

"Let's just take her to the hospital! Hurry up before she lost so many blood out!" the taxi driver who came down helped Darcy.

Darcy agreed. With their help, Flora's body was brought into the taxi. They immediately headed to the nearest hospital. Flora was immediately got treatment. Because she lost quite a lot of blood, the girl needed quite a lot of blood bags too.

Darcy immediately dialed Flora's mother to tell this shocking news. Deborah immediately went limp when she heard that her only daughter got an accident. The woman and her husband immediately headed to the hospital where Flora was.

"Oh, Flora. I hope you'll be okay," Darcy muttered hopefully. The girl begged her best friend to come to her senses.

Darcy also cursed in her heart what Valerie had done to snatch Tristan from Flora. Darcy actually started to get suspicious when she accidentally saw Valerie with Tristan several times together. However, Darcy tried to be kind to Valerie who was also Flora's best friend.

"Darcy! Oh, Flora, my dear," Deborah shouted when she arrived at her daughter's room.

The woman immediately rushed to Flora who still closed her eyes and Darcy who sat beside her faithfully waiting for her best friend.

Gerald appeared along with Deborah. The man then gave Darcy a sharp look. "What did you do to my daughter?" Gerald asked.

"Dad. Don't be like that. Darcy is the one who brought Flora here and helped her," Deborah said to her husband.

Gerald was silent. Darcy knew that Flora's father did not want her to have anything to do with his daughter. This waa because Darcy came from an ordinary family. However, Flora, who had become friends with Darcy, did not want to part with her. They actually look like sisters compared to Valerie who still has kinship with Gerald's family.

"Excuse me. Did Flora Hadley's family come?" a nurse asked when she appeared.

Deborah and Gerald turned to look at her.

"Yes. I'm her father," Gerald replied.

"Okay. Please come with me to see the doctor who treats your daughter," the nurse replied. She then inviting the two of them.

Darcy was again left to wait for Flora. The girl gently stroked Flora's injured hand. Then she saw her friend's head was wrapped in bandages.

Inside the doctor's room, Deborah and Gerald have to hear an explanation that shocks both of them. Their only daughter who could be the great hope of their small company's progress, had to lose her sight.

Deborah wept in her husband's arms. The man was of course shocked to hear the bad news. Even though Flora was a girl, she had talent to develop his own company. There was only one hope left, which was to rely on the marriage of Flora and Tristan, who was the son of the owner of the second largest company in that country.

The night was getting late, Flora was starting to gain consciousness. The beautiful girl was waited for by her mother and best friend. While her father was taking care of something. Flora slowly moved her fingers. This was not known by her mother and friends because they were tired of guarding.

"Mom, Dad, Darcy ...." Flora called in her gravelly voice that sounded low.

The girl blinked her eyes. However, only darkness lay in sight. Her mother who heard the call from her daughter woke up. Deborah witnessed how her beloved daughter was trying to see the world again.

"Flora," Deborah called her, then gently grabbed her daughter's hand.

"Mom? Mommy? Why is it so dark in here?" asked Flora who was still trying to blink her eyes. however, still the result she could not see her mother's face.

a soft sob came from Deborah's mouth. The woman tightened her grip. Darcy had woken up and saw her friend who was confused.

"Flo, you have to be patient, okay?" Her mother said softly, trying to be strong.

"W-what do you mean?" Flora asked in disbelief.

"Flora ...." Darcy called, following her friend.

"Darcy? Are you here?"

"Yes. I'm here, Flo," Darcy replied. She chose to stand on the other side of the bed.

Flora then fell silent. She recalled the last incident before she was in such a confused area. Flora remembered the mocking faces of Valerie and Tristan who had the heart to play behind her. She who had just caught the affair of his lover and best friend, also had an accident on the same day.

"I can't see both of you?" Flora asked in a trembling voice.

"Be patient in your heart, Flo. Mommy and Darcy will be by your side," Deborah tried to comfort her. Sh e did nof want her daughter to be sad. The woman's hand gently stroked her daughter's head.

Flora could not hold back her tears. She could not believe that from this moment on, he couldn't see the beauty of the world anymore.

"Actually how did you get into an accident, Flo?" Darcy asked. Because she also felt responsible for the accident. He's the one who will pick up Flora at Tristan's apartment.

Flora was silent for a moment. the girl wiped her tears then sat down with the help of her mother.

"I don't really remember clearly. But ... I remember a little, the one that grazed me was in a red Porsche and the driver was driving carelessly before grazing me," Flora explained. She was already sitting down with a glass of warm tea for her to drink.

Darcy and Deborah listened carefully to Flora's explanation. Then Flora started to cry again. The girl sobbed because she remembered Tristan's betrayal with one of the people she trusted.

"Mom ... Tristan cheated on me. He even often made love with her," Flora said, her voice trembling again.

"Gosh ... That's really rude! Even though he is the son of Mr. Brandy, but he can't do whatever he wants," Deborah said, not accepting her daughter was being hurt.

"And Valerie really doesn't expect her to behave like that," she added with Darcy's nodding approval.

"I'll be your eyes too, Flo," Darcy added.

Flora stretched out her other hand so she could hug Darcy. The three of them embraced to strengthen Flora's broken heart because of love.
