Withered

Wasted away,

Ruined by time,

Here I lay,

Contemplating life.

Raw and mangled scars,

I hide deep down,

I am withering away from within,

Withered, like a torn rose.

"Holding on pain,

Isn't ideal,

It's better to let go"

What about those times,

When I close my eyes,

No sleep but twisted dreams

Comes to haunt my sleep?

Life's a waste,
