6 Battlefield

*clang* *step* *clang*

Alex was looking around curiously while marching forward on the Bifrost.

The Bifrost is a bridge used by the Asgardians to travel to and from the nine realms.

The road resembles a rainbow and leads to a giant golden orb. On the inside of the orb Heimdall observes everything and regulates travel via the Bifrost.

This battle was led by Thor while Loki acted as an advisor.

After sometime it was finally Alex and his team's turn to enter the Bifrost.

Just after entering the rainbow light Alex felt a sudden flash in front of his eyes and in the next moment he was standing on the battlefield.

Their enemies this time were none other than the Dark Elves of Svartalfheim led by Malkith.

The Dark Elf of Svartalfheim, Malekith uses his magic and trickery to bring war to all of the Ten Realms.

Like all Dark Elves, Malekith possesses greater strength, stamina, speed, agility and resistance to injury than average as well as a much longer lifespan.

However, he also studied the supernatural and became the most powerful sorcerer in Svartalfheim.

Although he does not possess the Ether which is already sealed by Asgard, he is still a powerful foe to face.

As Alex looked around he found the battle had already started with Thor and Loki jointly fighting against Malketh.

After looking around for a few seconds Alex got together with Lucy and Jack and after looking into each other's eyes they also started fighting against the dark elves.

Alex has already confirmed with the system that he will also get soul energy for the enemies killed by Jack and Lucy .

That's why before entering the battlefield Alex gave clear instructions to both of them to try to kill as many dark elves as possible.

Since both Asgardians and dark elves have great stamina and strength , situation was in a tie for a few hours.

Meanwhile after few hours of joint attacks from Thor and Locky, Malketh was also starting to lose ground . Thus seeing that the situation was not right , he suddenly entered the Cursed form as a last resort.

While in this form , his dark energy expands rapidly and thus increasing his strength , speed and recovery ability to a very high level.

Immediately Malkeith gave Loki a very powerful punch in the face and Loki was sent flying . Even after a few moments, Loki still didn't get up. Though it was not known weather he was really injured or just acting for the sake of it.

As a result of this , Thor was left to fight against him alone. The battle between Thor and Malekith was fierce and intense, with each combatant unleashing their full power against the other. Thor wielded his classic hammer, Mjolnir, and called forth the power of thunder to strike at Malekith, while Malekith, who has already transformed into his cursed form, increasing his strength and agility.

The two clashed in a flurry of blows, each seeking to gain the upper hand. Thor swung his hammer in wide arcs, each blow sending out shockwaves of thunder that shook the ground beneath them. Malekith was quick to dodge, his lithe form weaving and twisting as he avoided each attack.

As the battle wore on, Thor began to tire, his strikes becoming slower and less powerful. Malekith, sensing an opening, darted forward and struck him with a powerful punch. Thor stumbled backwards, his grip on Mjolnir weakening.

Malekith took advantage of the opportunity, launching a series of lightning-fast attacks at Thor. Thor tried to block the blows with Mjolnir, but he was too slow, and each strike landed with a heavy impact. His armor was starting to dent and crack, and he knew that he couldn't hold out much longer.

Desperately, Thor summoned all of his strength and unleashed a massive blast of thunder at Malekith. The blast sent Malekith flying backwards. But even as he fell, Malekith managed to grab hold of Thor and pull him down along with him.

The two combatants crashed to the ground in a cloud of dust and debris. Thor struggled to get to his feet, but Malekith was already rising , his eyes gleaming with triumph. With a roar, he charged at Thor, his fists clenched and ready to strike.

Thor knew that he was in trouble. He tried to summon the power of thunder once again, but his body was too battered and exhausted to respond. He raised Mjolnir in a last, desperate attempt to defend himself, but it was too late.

Malekith's fist struck him square in the chest, and Thor felt a sickening crunch as his ribs cracked under the impact. He gasped for breath, his body wracked with pain.

Malekith stood over him, grinning in triumph. "You are no match for me, Thor."

Malkeith sneered arrogantly.

"I am the ruler of the dark elves, and soon I will be the ruler of all the realms. You might as well go ahead and call Odin. That way, there may still be a chance for you."

Thor glared up at him, his eyes blazing with defiance.

"You may have the upper hand for now Malekith, but the war is far from over. I will never stop fighting, no matter how many times you knock me down."

With a cry of rage, he summoned the last of his strength and swung Mjolnir at Malekith's head. Malekith dodged, but the blow sent him stumbling backwards. Thor scrambled to his feet, ignoring the pain in his chest and the ringing in his ears.

Malekith glared at him, his eyes blazing with fury and snarled at Thor.

"You dare to strike at me ?"

"I am the son of Odin, and I will not be defeated by the likes of you."

Thor replied, his voice low and dangerous.

The two combatants circled each other warily, each seeking an opening. Malekith launched a flurry of punches and kicks, but Thor was ready for him, blocking and dodging each blow with ease.

With a shout, Thor swung Mjolnir at Malekith's head once again. However Malekith dodged easily. As although he was playing tough but in reality Thor was already loosing his ground. If no one interfered in the battle, then Thor's defeat is a foregone conclusion.

When Alex saw this scene he immediatly had an idea in his mind.

" Hey ...!Thor is a simple minded fool. If I help him out in this situation , by sharing the burden of fighting against Malketh then he will definitely considered me his best friend ."

"And if I show a little bit of strength then he may even take me as his partner. "

" This will greatly help me in entering the core circle of Asgard. "

"And I can also get to talk to our old classmate Siff. Heehehhee... "
