38 Royal Prince Galen and the Great Elder Aito

This was the Royal Prince of the Gandor kingdom, Prince Galen. A young man considered proficient in martial arts with a cultivation of Mid-stage Divine Sea Realm. As Galen approached Amaya, his expression seemed solemn and sincere but it also had a trace of arrogance. Amaya looked at this young man with disgust and contempt not hiding any of them. With an authoritative voice, she replied.

"Yes, it is I. There's no need to act like you care so drop it."

"This sister of mine, you always think the worst of me. I was truly displeased when you were abducted, I made sure not to eat until you were found but with time it only seemed like it was impossible to find you. You must believe what your little brother has said."

Prince Galen's voice this time around didn't hide the loathing and contempt; he was obviously trying to provoke Amaya. Amaya knew not to give heed to this character and decided to ignore him. Just then a loud clear voice echoed out in the square.

"Little rascal, is that you!?"

Seconds after this voice fell, an old man suddenly appeared beside Amaya slightly tapping her shoulder. This old man was a head taller than Amaya. He stood straight like a majestic mountain and his temperament didn't give off any pressure at all. From afar one would think that he was just a mortal old man but the aura exuding from him made one palpitate in awe. This old man was the Gandor Kingdom's Great Elder… Aito!

"Master Aito! Little rascal has returned safe and sound." Amaya said respectfully.

Aito laughed, " I can see that, but you can't tell me you did it all by yourself, did this little brother help you?"

Little brother?

Who was this old man talking about?

Just when everyone thought of this, they suddenly remembered that when Amaya jumped down from the eagle, someone else followed her! Looking behind Amaya, everyone let out a surprised gasp.

How long has he been here!?

How come nobody noticed him!?

Nero lightly stepped aside when the crowd came rushing over to welcome the Princess and he had been silent ever since then. Even the haughty Prince Galen didn't notice his whereabouts until now! How did he possibly conceal himself till now!?

Amaya dryly laughed scratching her head, "Forgive little rascal for the rudeness but we should talk about this in a secluded place."

Hearing Amaya's plight, Aito nodded. He waved his sleeves gesturing everyone to disperse to their various posts while bringing Galen, Amaya, and Nero along with him. Aito quickly brought them into a huge library.

"You may now speak freely."

Amaya suddenly grumbled, "Must he be here?"

The 'he' referred to here was obviously her brother Galen.

"Enough of that!" Aito scolded "You may now speak freely."

Amaya sighed bitterly but couldn't do anything about it.

"It is just as master had said. I wouldn't have escaped the clutches of the Black Dragon squad if not for his help…"

Amaya started to relay her story. From when they were still at the mortal village, Nero had charged Amaya not to tell anyone about him destroying the Black Dragon squad, so Amaya could only make up a story hoping that this old sly fox would buy it. According to her story, she was abducted and instead of being taken to the Black Dragon mountain, she was taken to another mountain deep in the forest. Then one day Nero was passing by when he heard her distressed cry for help and came to her rescue. Since this wasn't their main base, it was easy for Nero to successfully carry her to safety.

As all this was relayed to Aito, he continuously nodded his head like he could picture the event in his head.

"Good! Very good! And to think that all this was done by a Late-stage Foundation Establishment Realm martial artist! Young hero, what is your name?"

"Nero!" Nero politely replied.

"Ah… a befitting name for a young hero indeed!" Aito laughed heartily.

While Aito was laughing like he had won over a million gold taels, Amaya and Galen were stunned speechless.

Late-stage Foundation Establishment Realm!?

This boggled their minds, especially Amaya who knew the truth. To Galen, even though according to Amaya's story she wasn't taken back to the Black Dragon Mountain, anywhere they were might have been crawling with strong martial artists at the Foundation Establishment Realm or even the Divine Sea Realm!

The Black Dragon squad was filled with exceptionally skilled young talented martial artists and they were mostly stronger than an average martial artist of the same level. Having washed themselves in an endless river of blood, their skills were homed to the extreme.

And Nero successfully went there and rescued his sister?

Was he that strong? Even for him who was at the Divine Sea Realm wouldn't dare act rashly.

Amaya was in a worse state of mind. She peeked at Nero's abdomen where the dantian is located and to her surprise, it was true! How could this be!? When Nero had met Amaya for the first time, she couldn't see through his cultivation. This was not out of the ordinary because having the strength to destroy the Black Dragon squad meant that he had an immeasurable strength that even she couldn't fathom. But now she could see it and not only that but he was truly at the Late-stage Foundation Establishment Realm!

What type of concept was this!? How could a Late-stage Foundation Establishment Realm martial artist fight and defeat a Grand cultivation Realm expert and destroy not just any ordinary organization but the Black Dragon squad that even her Gandor kingdom had to be wary of!?

This time around, Amaya looked at Nero in awe and respect; this man had fought someone who was two realms above him and still emerged victorious! The more she looked at him the more she couldn't understand the concept behind such a person. The mystery that wrapped around Nero was too overwhelming to say; she would simply sound mad to everyone.

'If this is truly this man's strength, then he must be a mighty dragon in a pool!' This thought raced through her mind as she recalled the events at the Black Dragon mountain.
