31 Chapter 031:-The difficulty of the oncoming beast tide has doubled.
Adrian was lead to the biggest room in the Breeder association which was the Meeting room where important meetings would be generally conducted.
Inside the room there were 5 middle aged men sitting with straight faces.
Adrian could sense that all of them were at lord level .
They must be the big shots of the entire city.
Adrian in particular identified two of them the Deputy city lord Kirstan and the current City lord Kane!
"Gentlemen I am sorry for the delay...I was actually talking with an interesting youth and ended up being late....Haha"
Yoshi chuckled softly.
"Sir Yoshi If it was another day we wouldn't really mind it but you stopped the meeting for a mere kid?"One of the 5 middle aged men clearly expressed his displeasure for wasting their precious time for a mere brat!
Adrian felt uncomfortable being looked down so blatantly like that but he clenched his fist and held on.
He is currently too weak so he has to learn to be patient and when he is capable in the future he will make sure to smash everyone's faces!
"There....There.....Gibran as always you are very impatient...Sir Yoshi is just a bit late why are you acting like a child....by picking on a kid."
Another man took this opportunity to criticize his long time rival.
"Hmph.....Rodri! you b****** who are you calling a child?! Do you wanna fight?!"
Gibran snapped in anger and released his lord level aura on Rodri.
"Hehe bring it on! Do you think I am afraid of you??!"Rodri mocked him and also released his own aura to indicate that he was always ready for a fight.
"Enough! in the presence of the city lord and Sir Yoshi why are you two behaving like thugs! Don't you two have any dignity?!"
Deputy city lord Kirstan shouted at the two rivals with anger.
'These two fellows! our city is facing such a huge crisis and these guys are fighting each other I really want to slap them both!'
The Vice president Carter thought so.
"*Cough*Cough* Please calm down this is just a small mistake on my part please give me some face alright."Yoshi said to calm down the heated atmosphere.
Rodri and Gibran looked at each other with anger and took back their unrestrained aura.
"Sir Yoshi it's alright if you are late,but why did you bring a youngster to this meeting?"
The city lord who was silent all along opened his mouth and asked Yoshi.
The city lord actually didn't really mind about a small delay he can overlook it with the relationship he has with Yoshi but Kane was just curious why did he bring a kid to such an important meeting.
"Hehe City lord Kane don't judge a book by it's cover this boy here is an official General level beast breeder with very impressive skills."
Yoshi smiled and answered kane.
The others in the room except the Luke trio and Adrian were surprised.Yoshi is the oldest among them and he rarely appreciates people especially youngsters.
"Oh..!...is that so..?..to be praised by Sir Yoshi....He must be quite a fine young man.... in that case he is definitely qualified to come."
kane didn't want to argue with Yoshi and waste unnecessary time so he just brushed it off with a small compliment.
'If he is indeed a pro General level breeder than it's alright.....'
The others thought so too.
Meanwhile Luke,Kaiser and goron were explaining about all the members present in the room to Adrian in a very low voice.
Adrian got to know that Rodri and Gibran belonged to the senra and Vujsic clans which were the top clans of the Edewood city.
"Now Let us discuss about the issue regarding the oncoming Beast tide"
Kane went straight into the topic.
Adrian's eyes shrank the moment he heard the word "Beast tide".
'No wonder the atmosphere of the city is so tense...these days...!'
According to the books he read and the knowledge he gained in his school Beast tides can only be described with the word *catastrophe* they never end well.
It will always lead to a lot of deaths regardless of victory or defeat.
He guessed that there was a serious problem going on in the city but never did he expect the issue to be a beast tide.
"I heard that city lord and sir Yoshi has already discussed with Sowenwood and Agarnwood upper echelons,So What is the result?"
Rodri asked with a serious expression.
"They have accepted to send 500 people above Knight level 5, 10 General level and a lord level expert each to assist us in this battle."
Kirstan answered Rodri about their help.
"Not bad they are quite sincere"
Gibran appreciated it with a look of surprise.
"Hoho the guys from those two cities didn't disappoint us."
Rodri commented with a chuckle.
"I would also love to appreciate them if not for the unexpected siituation."
Kane said in a depressed tone.
"What do you mean by that Lord kane?
No matter how strong the Black poison ants are can they still match us?"
Carter asked in confusion.
"Previously We only need to fight the Black poison ants but I recieved the report last night that Green striped Spiders have also joined the beast tide against us ."
Kane answered with helplessness.
"Impossible! Utterly impossible! The Green striped Spiders and Black poison ants are arch enemies why would they help each other out?!"
Carter slammed the table and roared.
He would never believe it until and unless he sees with his own eyes Spiders and ants regardless of their attributes and breed hate each other to death and will always want to hunt the other one on sight but them being in the same team was a crazy thing.
"Yes! don't they hate each other to the death why would they get together all of a sudden?"
Gibran's brain also couldn't process properly.
"City lord is there any mistake in the information?"
Even the playful Yoshi was a bit anxious to think that 2 of the strongest beast races in the Edenwood forest who fought each other for centuries are actually gonna attack at the same time this'll is definitely a huge disaster for them.
"I wish the info was wrong but it was personally verified by Kirstan here."
The City lord Kane sighed.
"Yes.....we are going to face the assault of both of their beast armies...."
Kirstan confirmed it
"So to explain it in simple terms the difficulty of the oncoming beast tide has just doubled."
Yoshi smiled bitterly his face showing his wrinkles.
"Goodness...this might be the biggest trouble our city has faced in the past century."
Rodri shook his head in despair.
