58 Jun's Love

Soo and Cho are returned from their honeymoon. Huwa explained everything to Cho about the work and told her to take care of Soo because he hasn't taken care of himself for four years.

"Mom, don't worry. I'll take care of him as now he's my husband," said Cho with a smile.

"Soo thinks that his father killed Ani's uncle but it's not the truth. Why would he kill his own brother? But Soo isn't getting our point. He always wronged his father. Indeed Yang Mi is angry at Soo but he's our son so he won't ever think of his bad. Please make Soo understand this," murmured Huwa with a broken voice. Cho nodded and then came back to the room.

Soo got ready for the office and was talking to Cho but Cho's attention was somewhere else. "Cho," said Soo loudly which made her come out of her thoughts.

"What are you thinking?," asked Soo.

"Nothing Soo. What were you saying?," asked Cho.

"I might return late. If you encounter any problem give me a call," said Soo and got up from the sofa in his room. He put the mobile in his pockets and then went away from there.

"Is Soo misunderstanding his parents or Ani has a misunderstanding that day?," mumbled Cho. She worriedly murmured, "Ani, Your brother is in really pain. I have to talk to her."

Soo reached the office. His secretary told him his schedule. He had a meeting with the project team of the technical department so he left for the conference meeting room. As soon as he entered the employees there greeted him. Jun too greeted him. He greeted them, took his seat and then told them to take their respective seats.

For over an hour they discussed the future prospects of the project which Jun along with his team has calculated accordingly. The facts were presented before Soo. At the end of the meeting Jun told Soo that project is completed before the targeted period so they'll launch it on the Wednesday in the market.

Soo agreed on the date and after two hours the meeting got over. Soo and Jun went towards the personal office of Soo. "I heard from dad that he's making you the Director of Sangma after the project. It's good," said Soo with a smile. They entered the office and sat on the sofa.

"Jun, have you talked with Woo or Ani??," asked Soo.

"Ahh I didn't tell you right. My family shifted near uncle Sungi's house. So, Woo doesn't feel alone at all. He usually chose night shifts. About Ani, she's at Yun's house. Don't worry about her," said Jun.

"I miss them both," said Soo with teary eyes. Jun consoled him. "Soo, I understand but we can't do anything for now." Soo rubbed his eyes. "My father is controlling three of us," muttered Soo.

"Soo, it's not your fault. I am associated here too. That day I should've taken back Ani to Seoul. These all things then could be prevented," murmured Jun and looked into Soo's eyes.

"Jun you've done nothing. I'm happy that Ani has you after me who will take care of her more than me. It's my greatest happiness that you're with Ani," mumbled Soo with a smile.

Jun nodded and said, "I promised uncle Sungi that I'll take care of her till eternity. I'm just fulfilling my promise." Soo laughed hearing this. "Jun I want to ask something. If you care for her then why aren't you with her. She loves you a lot. I saw her giggling looking at your photos. I know you also like her. Then why do you not show her?" Soo looked at Jun confusingly.

Jun smiled and clasped his fingers together. "Soo I don't like her. It's just I'm fulfilling my duties towards her which I promised my uncle a long time ago. Why are we talking about me? Tell me about yourself. Are you happy with Cho?," asked Jun.

"Ahh I am happy but I got to know about a thing which I shouldn't. She loves me. I married her thinking that we are alike but…," murmured Soo and rested his head back on the sofa's upper edge. "I ruined her life by taking the decision of marrying her." Soo sighed and closed his eyes.

"Why are you thinking this way? I think she's the best girl for you. I don't know much about her but she's a loyal girl. Start knowing about her. She left everything behind to marry you. What will his father feel when you two will divorce later. He sees you as your own son. Give yourself time. Why don't you start going with her out? You will truly feel happiness with her and will eventually start understanding her," reasoned Jun.

Soo raised his head and looked at Jun. "What about my sister and friend? They aren't happy and I can't focus on that thing," muttered Soo.

"Dad and uncle are finding a girl for Woo. He's going on dates nowadays so don't worry about him. About your sister, I would like to tell you that she's enjoying her life too. Ani will feel bad if she will learn about your truth. So, focus on yourself now. You've your life too. Ani and Woo have many people to take care of but you've right now only Cho. She's not saying that doesn't mean you should ignore her.

You're lucky to get such a girl as your wife who has sacrificed her everything for you. She was the only girl in my class who doesn't want to fall into such a thing but now, see she is married to you just for your happiness. Think about her happiness too ," mumbled Jun looking at Soo.

"Hmm….well I feel happy around Cho. I should consider your advice. Thanks Jun," muttered Soo with a smile. Jun patted at his shoulder and then told him that he should leave now as he has some pending work of the project. Soo nodded and Jun left for his office from there.

In the office Jun sat on the chair. There were some files over his desk. After reading and signing them he started thinking about uncle Sungi.

He took out his wallet from the blazers pocket and took out the letter which Ani's father left for Jun.

"Dear Jun

I'm writing this letter only for you since you're the only one who has the key to open this box apart from me.

Son, when you will read this letter I will not be in this world. Yes I think someone wants to kill me and my daughter. I can't even take help of the Police because Ani's safety is my topmost priority right now.

Jun, I'm happy that you love Ani. Yes, I know my son the love in your eyes for Ani. I never asked this about you because you were little at that time so I thought when you reach 18 I'll ask you to confirm this that you will make her happy.

But I don't have much time left now. I know you carry the same love for Ani even if you'll get old that I saw in your eyes for the first time. So this is the present I'm living behind for my Ani. When Ani's mom was alive she always said that she will give this ring to that boy who will understand Ani even if she will not say anything just by looking into her eyes.

Son, you're that boy who will make our Ani happy. I'm giving this beautiful ring to you which you will give to Ani when she will become mature enough and start understanding the world.

Tell my friend, Dowan to take care of his health. Thank him for being with me in my worst days.

Last message for Ani. Please convey this to her. Her mom and I are always looking at her. We are with her inside her heart. Don't ever cry remembering us because it will hurt us.

Okay Jun-aa it's almost time to leave for Daegu. I don't know if I am able to return safely or not but I've to go. Ask Soo he's cousin of Ani for help if you ever needed help. Thank him also for being a loving and caring brother to Ani. Don't tell Ani about this to Ani she will get hurt.

Putting his hands in the pants pockets he looked out of the big window glass.
