Peter exhaled slowly, solidifying his ascension into the 3rd stage of the Novice Rank. His cultivation speed was crazy fast, considering he had only been in the 2nd stage for only a week or so. The average person would take at least two to four weeks.

'If we didn't battle continuously and put stress on the mana core, I don't think it would have grown as much as this.' Noah said, feeling Peter's mana pressure increase.

'Now let's check those rewards!' Peter sat up straight ecstatically emptying all the rewards he had received from his dimension ring.

With loud clunks, several books fell to the ground.

"Ella tell me all of the contents that are in front of me." Peter commanded.

"Yes Sir as you wish. There are 3 spell books and 1 Martial Art manual along with a lot of inscription items and hundreds of different potions." Ella summarized the contents.

"Tell me the names of the spell books and the martial art manual. I'll look at the other items later." Peter said.

"The 3 Spell Books are:

[★★★ Shadow Teleportation - Mark an object's/ living being's shadow and teleport to its location instantly. The time taken to teleport depends on the distance.]

[★ Sense Boost - Increase the power of your senses two fold. This spell cannot boost senses which aren't present.] " Ella spoke.

'What the h*ll! Forget the other 2 spells, just the 'Monarch of Darkness' Spell would be enough to make us Legendary Cultivators!' Peter screamed in his head with excitement.

'I was expecting a couple more spells I'll be honest Peter but you're right. That 5 star spell does sound enticing. If only we arrived at this inheritance ground a couple years back, we could have earned much more, except we probably wouldn't even survive the first trial.

'Back to the 5-star spell, it looks good. However, we also won't be able to use any other 5-star spell. Is it really worth it? Don't get too tunnel-visioned. We need to think properly before using this spellbook. You probably don't know this but 5 star spell books aren't just spells you learn. The very essence of the spell integrates with your body completely. That's probably why you can't utilize any other 5 star spells if you integrate with this one.

'It's better we learn the other spells first. Then think about that one.' Noah said in a stern tone.

Peter nodded in understanding.

"Okay. Ella, what about the Martial Art Manual?" Peter asked.

"The Martial art is called 'Style of the Soul Reaper'. It's a 5 star martial art that the Abyssal Tyrant invented. Consisting of high speed movement techniques and fast attacks, this martial art focuses on speed and precise attacks to overpower the opponent." Ella summarized.

Peter nodded in satisfaction.

"Ella, can you convert the sense boost and shadow teleportation spell books to braille?"

"That is possible master. However, I do warn you that 4 star spell books and higher won't be able to be translated; The martial art manual can also be translated." Ella replied.

'Okay Noah let's devise a plan. Assuming that the school knows I'm missing by now and has sent out a search party with the help of the authorities as standard protocol. They'll believe I'm dead after 2 weeks.

'That means we basically have all the time in the world to perfect ourselves. Not only do we have access to 3 other Enchanted zones due to the exit points, we also have plenty of food pills left and water etc. if you ask me, I personally think we should stay here for a while and strengthen ourselves. Opportunities like this don't arise often. What do you say brother? If you say yes, I think I already know what to do.' Peter spoke mentally, weighing all the variables.

'I agree with you on this one Peter. You're also ahead of your classes and also have your books with you in your ring's storage space. I don't think we'll be missing much. We basically have nothing to lose, apart from our new step sis Emma, there is really no other valuable person for us to care about… let's do it Peter. Let's become monsters!' Noah smiled.

'Okay. Now that we've both decided that we should stay here and train, I was thinking of a time frame for our training period. Based on the resources we have right now and taking into account that we will return to society after our training period is over, our time in solitary training should be no more than 1 year tops.'

'I trust your assessment. Well, now that we've decided that. Let's train!!' Noah said excitedly. Out of everything he wanted to master the martial art the most.

'Noah, I'll focus on learning the spells and perfectly learning the Ethereal Blade Martial Art first. Since I'm poor at learning Martial arts, you should probably focus on learning Braille through my memories. Whilst you do that I'll focus on cultivating and also learning those spells. What do you say?'

'Learning a whole new language in such an unorthodox way will be hard for me, plus my comprehension speed isn't as fast as yours. I should be able to master Braille in 3-4 weeks tops.' Noah sighed. He wanted to get practicing straight away but since Peter was blind, Noah would have to learn Braille to read the manual.

'That's still crazy fast. The average time to learn braille is 1-2 years.'

"Ella. Tell me all the facilities available in this dungeon." Peter said, sitting down in a lotus meditation position.

"As you know there are 4 exit points, each of them being connected to 4 enchanted zones. They were initially used as points to capture any potential successors. They were essentially traps, I'm sure you saw the runic lines that appeared before you fell into the trap,"

'So that's what those runic lines were.' Peter pondered.

"The Inheritance ground has several facilities. They were built by the Abyssal Tyrant for his future heir in a hurry. As the Abyssal Tyrant was a Rune Master he created a lot of extraordinary things that were ahead of his time. For example me, along with mana regeneration runes, that absorb mana from the atmosphere and power this whole place.

"There is a personal room for you, a library filled with books that the Abyssal Tyrant had written personally all on his inscription methods and knowledge of inscription. I shall translate them all to braille for you young master." Ella continued.

"Thank you." Peter nodded.

"...The other facilities include a battle simulation chamber in which you are standing right now. The Abyssal Tyrant created this place with powerful runes, he had captured beasts of different ranks himself and kept them underground. He used a specific rune inscription method to create more versions of these beasts with mana. The things you fought in the trials were beasts coded by his inscriptions. It was designed to help you with increasing your battle experience. The difficulties increase with the Cultivation Ranks that you can choose.

"The Abyssal Tyrant even put a young version of himself as one of the combatants, residing in the King Rank Difficulty. The other extra facilities include a large Sage pool - which is an area with a mana spring. It pumps dense mana into the atmosphere, perfect for all stages and ranks of cultivation until the Lord Rank. The final facility is the Inscription room - this was a place built specifically for inscribing and creating runes and formations. As you know runes are objects that are inscribed with mana for specific purposes.

"The Abyssal Tyrant left his prized inscription tools all in that room, for his future successor. That is all." Ella finally finished explaining the facilities of the Inheritance Ground, also known as a dungeon.

'Looks like we're gonna be busy. I'm gonna read up on Inscriptions too. It may help us in boosting our strength. I don't even think 1 year will be enough to cover all the things we want to do.' Peter sighed.

'It's fine. Just tackle things one thing at a time. The path of Cultivation is not so easy.' Noah replied, cheering up his brother.
