"-That will be everything for today" Sakagami collected his papers and walked out of the classroom.

The moment he walked out, Ryuen didn't waste any time and started forming his gang already.

'I wonder why I am in Class C instead of Class D where most of the plot is focused but that works well for me. As of right now, I have no reason to do anything.'

[Welcome to another world, host]

Ren was slightly surprised when the system appeared so quickly but he already knew that systems in non-fantasy settings took less time to appear.

'Once again, this shit doesn't even remember me'

[Does the host wish to view the tutorial on how to operate the system?]

'Fuck off, I only got a few hours of peace without you' Ren spoke directly to the system as he frowned.

[We have slight difficulty understanding the meaning of the host's words but we will take it as negative]

[Does the host wish to view his status?]

'Oh my god, did you actually turn more talkative, anything but that please' Ren rolled his eyes upon seeing a wall of text in front of him.

"Oy! I was talking to you, why are you rolling your eyes!" A sudden voice made Ren look past the text at the male student standing in front of his seat with folded arms, trying to look intimidating.

'Should I just say something or ignore him? I honestly don't care about anything in this world, from my past experiences, I should transmigrate again once I finish the main quest I have yet to receive or once I get expelled.'

"Hello?" Ren greeted the guy he didn't recognize with a blank look on his face which made the guy only further frown down at him.

The guy was most likely already convinced to join Ryuen and now he was enjoying the feeling of having power over the others. Still, Ren estimated it would take Ryuen at least a whole week to completely subjugate Class C.

"Did you actually listen to what I was saying?!" The guy grabbed Ren by the collar of his uniform and lifted him up a bit, bringing his face closer.

"Sure, I won't cause any trouble" Ren nodded his head with an unchanging expression.

"You-!" The guy who tried to intimidate Ren only grew frustrated once he saw Ren meeting his eyes without an ounce of fear within them.

'Why should I bother? I would rather relax and enjoy the benefits of not being their nanny'

The commotion the two of them created was enough to garner some attention, especially from one of the main characters of this class.

"Interesting" Ryuen grinned at seeing Ren's reaction.

"Tch!" The guy holding Ren's collar shoved him back on his seat before walking away.

*sigh* "Teenagers..." Ren mumbled and shook his head, fortunately, his voice was quiet enough to be lost amidst a large number of people.

Thus a week has passed since Ren came to this world and while he was glad to be finally in modern settings world, he was starting to feel bored therefore he borrowed several books from the enormous library.

[Martial Arts - Lv. 10 (Max)] - Due to the body's poor physical condition, a large part of the moves and techniques are unavailable.

As Ren was staring at the status window during the class, he noticed several of his skills like magic for example were in a gray area, meaning he couldn't make use of them in this world.

He might hate the system attached to him, however, he found it to be a good distraction from the boring classes, unfortunately, there wasn't much he could do with it as of right now, therefore, he decided to at least pay attention to the remainder of the class.

Once the class ended, Ryuen who already had several henchmen around him came up to the podium and basically declared himself as class representative. Of course, he "generously" asked if anyone had anything against it but no one voiced a single complaint.

[Side quest failed!]

[No rewards will be given out]

'Shove your rewards up your ass, that is if you have one.' Ren felt like showing a middle finger to the text in front of him but he knew the consequences of such actions. He obviously didn't fear Ryuen, however, if he showed that he can defy him, the others who are unhappy with Ryuen might naturally follow him as their leader and he certainly didn't want to take on such a bothersome position.

And honestly, for Ren, something like pride was already non-existent, after crossing hundreds of worlds, he had to do so much stuff beneath him to get to his goals that he acted more on a whim than logic. If one day he decided to become Ryuen's guarding dog, he would become one until he gets tired of it, then he would find something new that would entertain him.

Ryuen nodded his head with a satisfied expression before ordering everyone to introduce themselves and mention something they are good at.

This was actually a good opportunity for Ren to get some information about the others.

As everyone aside from Ryuen and his henchmen introduce themselves, it was soon enough Ren's turn as all eyes landed on him.

"Oh...My name is Chiba Ren as for what I am good at...hmm...remembering things" At least half of the classroom laughed after hearing Ren's words.

"As expected, he does look like a nerd!"

"Quiet!" One of Ryuen's henchmen shouted when he noticed Ryuen's displeased expression which made everyone shut their mouths.

"So...studying?" Ryuen asked for confirmation with a serious expression as if he was telling "I dare you to lie to me"

"I guess?" Ren replied with quite innocent confusion painting his face.

'I mean, I have a really good memory since I can still remember the last 100 worlds I have been to. If I put my mind to it, I don't see schoolwork being a problem for me.'

"You guess?" Ryuen frowned, clearly not amused by Ren's answer.

*slam* "How can you be good at studying when your grades are barely above average and you hardly pay attention during classes!" The guy who previously harassed Ren slammed his hand on Ren's desk and questioned.

"Y-You have observed me?!" Ren stuttered which made everyone think he is finally afraid.

"Yeah, therefore I know you are lying right now. If you aren't good at anything just say it aloud!" The guy looked pleased with Ren's reaction however...

"Nooo! I don't swing that way!" Ren wrapped his arms around his body as if to protect it.

"...Y-You!" The guy finally snapped and swung his fist at Ren's face, however his fist was stopped right in front of Ren's face who was still looking at him with disgust visible in his eyes.

"I-Ishizaki?" The guy's voice wavered when he saw who stopped his fist.

In response, Ishizaki punched him in his gut causing him to fall to his knees grasping his stomach with his hands while coughing.

"It's not your place to decide what happens to this guy"

This has served as a good message and example for the others who would try to defy Ryuen.

"Thank you for saving my V-card, kind stranger named Ishizaki!" Ren thanked his "savior" causing everyone to stare at him with wide-open eyes in complete silence.

"Hahaha, you have got guts, I give you that. Since you have entertained me a bit with your show, I will give you another chance to answer my question." Ryuen's laugh broke the tense silence.

"I answered truthfully, if you don't believe me, just choose a book, page and I can recite it for you word by word after I read it." Ren replied with a nonchalant expression.

Ryuen stared at him for a while but decided to drop it after seeing Ren's unchanging calm expression.

"Alright, I will trust your word, that is for now, however, you made quite a scene so I believe a small punishment is in order" A slightly sadistic smile appeared on Ryuen's face before he looked at Ishizaki who in return nodded his head and approached Ren's seat.

"I plead not guilty! I answered your initial question truthfully yet the guy-clutching-his-stomach-in-enormous-pain has decided by himself that I must be lying. Even a tyrant knows when to punish HIS people." Ren raised his hands in surrender.

Ishizaki stopped with his already raised fist and looked at Ryuen who was glaring at Ren, quietly thinking about several hidden meanings in his words.

"Kukuku, you are an interesting one. I am glad we are on the same page, I am sure even the guy-clutching-his-stomach-in-enormous-pain agrees." Ryuen grinned and shook his head at Ishizaki who backed down in response.

'It's always interesting to observe humans' constantly changing emotions. For now, I will observe as someone who obeys Ryuen but once I will get bored...hehe who knows what I might do.' Not even Ren himself could predict what he will do in the future.
