7 PWRS

Two days later, Troy and Uncle Chris were walking to the nearest TelePort. It would teleport them to the nearest TelePort to the school, which was the ground floor.

Troy didn't know hot to really feel. He was torn between ectasy and mistrust. He was kind of happy after Uncle Chris revealed his true abilities. At the same time, he was wondering why his uncle didn't tell him all this before. Why now? If Jacinta hadn't almost killed them, he probably would still be in class by now.

He replayed everything that his uncle had imparted on him for the past two days.

Turns out, his ability wasn't just gravity manipulation. It was muchh more than that. Gravity manipulation was just a branch of his ability. The Stars were nigh invincible. Why? Because they tapped into the world energy naturally, instead of using their own energy. Goldstar for example would mix just a little bit of his own energy with light energy and grab control of it. That was how it was for The Stars. Meanwhile, other powdered individuals would make use of their own energy.

So, apparently, Troy's ability was atom manipulation. It was the strongest ability known to the Stars since Goldstar and Blackstar. Goldstar could control light, while Blackstar could control darkness. Uncle Chris didn't mention it, but Troy was the reason why Flamestar was willing to 'forgive' Fury. Troy had the potential to grow even more powerful than Goldstar. The only shortcoming of Troy's ability was that he couldn't control the elements. Fire manipulators had fire energy inside their bodies, and the same was for water manipulators and the rest. But there was also a silver lining. Troy's energy was gray. Not red like flame, blue like water or the rest. It was gray. The perfect mixture of light and darkness. It also allowed him to use gravity to unimaginable extents. The only thing that could limit Troy was his imagination. Or the Anti-powered collars that were being developed now.

"Grab your mask, Troy!" Uncle Chris whispered fiercely, it almost deafened Troy.

Without questioning his uncle's orders, he reached into his dimensional space, which was his wristwatch, and pulled out a blank mast. Dimensional spaces, or dimensional pockets were independent spaces free from the influence of space and time. They could contain anything, as long as it wasn't living, and preserve it for as long as the user wants. They usually take the forms of anything, from rings to watches to necklaces, to belts, basically anything with the right materials could become a dimensional pocket. But they varied in size. The higher the quality of the dimensional pocket, the bigger the space.

Troy's was a mid level dimensional pocket. Meaning it could hold, maybe a king sized duplex.

Uncle Chris put on a mask too.

It was just two days of training, but Troy had already developed a new skill.

"Spatial awareness." He whispered.

His aura spread all around him, and he could feel everything. Three people were surrounding them, trapping them in a kind of triangle formation. Two behind them, and one ahead.

"Aren't they afraid that they would be spotted?" Troy asked.

Since the introduction of TelePorts, cars were rendered obsolete. The only vehicle in use now we're spaceships. So the roads were devoid of any cars or road vehicles. But that didn't mean it was empty. People still moved about their daily businesses, moving towards the TelePort that would take them to their destination.

The one in front of them sttood out from the crowd. She didn't have mask on. She wore a white cowl, and her white hair spilled out.

"No need for masks, dear Blackstar." Storm said. But inside, she was frustrated. They knew Chris Star, also known as BlackStar. But they had no idea who the other one was. The only thing they gathered was the fact that he was a young man. Maybe an unknown child of Blackstar's? She hated leaving variables and loose ends.

"Storm!" Uncle Chris snarled.

– Storm? Isn't that the name of the woman who killed mom and dad? –

Troy looked at her and felt…

Nothing.

He felt nothing. His parents were dead. And that was it.

Before Troy knew what was going on, Uncle Chris dashed towards Storm. All he saw was a blur of black.

Troy's Spatial Awareness skill was still active, so he sensed one of the men emitting killing intent behind them dash towards Storm. He was even faster than Uncle Chris. In a split second, he was in front of Storm, his arms forming an X shape, to block the incoming punch.

With all the strength he could muster, Uncle Chris punched Rebound. But the said target didn't even budge. Instead, his arms bulged as he returned the blow.

Uncle Chris got hit right in the solar plexus, and was launched straight through the air.

Troy was tempted to scream: "Uncle Chris!" But he knew how delicate their identities were.

So he opted for: "Blackstar!!"

The moment Blackstar was out of the picture, the other assailant made his move. People whow were watching the fight from a distance instantly scrambled away as the third man tore open his clothes, revealing blades Slsticking out from every joint in his body.

He dashed towards Troy, his blades glinting in the sun light. Troy was panicking, but he was still capable of thinking straight, somewhat.

"Graviole: times five!" He whispered again.

Blade was instantly stuck to the floor.

Rebound moved to make a move, but he stopped in his tracks as blinding pain consumed his mind. He emitted a high pitched girly scream that was not supposed to come out from someone that size. Ever.

His veins became black and threatened to burst out of his body. They kept growing and growing until…

~Pop!

Rebound exploded. Th only thing that reminded them of his existence was the shower of blood that rained briefly.

"NOO!!" Storm screeched and glared at Troy. The bloodlust was way more than he could handle. He froze, and almost pissed himself.

Suddenly, a black tendril wrapped around his waist, and pulled him to a certain direction. Troy looked up to see Uncle Chris. He was wheezing, but all right.

In the blink of an eye, they were in front of the TelePort. Uncle Chris inputed the coordinates, and shoved Troy inside.

"Remember, boy. Live your life. I won't burden you with the sins of us old fogeys. Whatever path you choose, let it be your own. Be free. You might not see me again. Those people were tasked with the eradication of the heroes who still support the PWRS movement."

PWRS movement. It was the Protect the Weak, Regulate the Strong movement. The name said it all.

"Become strong."

Uncle Chris's last word resonated within him as he appeared in the reception of The Hero Academia.

Meanwhile, Uncle Chris levitated above for a while before zooming off. Storm was still a formidable opponent. If they both went all out, this whole region would be destroyed. So he chose to run and fight another day.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Storm had already calmed down. She and Blade stood silently over the puddle that was the only reminder of Rebound's existence.
"His name was Richard. Richard Verce." She said.
Another moment of silence. The police were surrounding them, slowly.
"Why didn't you kill the other one?"
"I tripped."
