Noah stood, stunned. His eyes scanned the setting before him, and he came to the same conclusion. This was his room. His former room. To him, that memory was entire centuries old.

"Why am I here?" He muttered, taking a step forward. The manifestation of that memory remained extremely detailed. He could find nothing amiss within it.

Of course, he understood how he got there. It had to be the magical effect of the wine he ingested. He remembered all of that. The issue was, those memories carried pain. Especially since he understood they weren't real.

A knock came on his door, breaking his thoughts. He recognized that knocking pattern and his heart skipped a beat.

Noah blinked as his entire attention fell on the door in what was a mixture of anticipation and fear.
