(Rex's POV)

It's been some months after all the Forge of Creation arc.

Now I am 20 years old because my birthday was on 10th January.

Yeah I was born on 10 January 1985. Now I am planning a surprise birthday party for my younger sister.

If you are all thinking how I have a younger sister? Actually she is not blood related but adopted by my family. Specifically my parents adopted her.

It is revealed that she is actually the daughter of my parents's close friends who died in an accident.

Before their death, they requested my parents to take care of their daughter as they have no relatives.

So my parents promised them that they will treat their child as their own. My grandparents didn't have issues with the adoption because they welcomed a new member in our family.

In this way, I got a young sister and became an elder brother for her.

After the death of my parents, me and her were raised by my grandparents. Specifically I took care of her more than anyone. Basically I turned into a overprotective brother or a siscon for her.

Her birthday will be in 3 days where she will turn 15 years old.

I have already planned a surprise birthday party for her with my grandparents and my friends. I have already celebrated her birthday with a wish to protect her whenever she is in danger.

Now let's focus on things that I have done these months.

It is about the Ultimatrix which I scanned from Ben and stored its copy in my [Unlimited Weapons works].

The Ultimatrix or the ultimate Omnitrix was the device that Ben 10: Ultimate Alien revolved around. Ben used it to replace the Omnitrix, which he destroyed in a battle with Vilgax.

What I want is to add the evolutionary function of the Ultimatrix into my Omnitrix where I could evolve my alien forms to their ultimate forms.

The Problem is that Ultimatrix was not officially created by Azmuth. It had various malfunctions and was incomplete.

Azmuth worked on the Ultimatrix for years, but its power core was unstable and incomplete, so he contained the device in high-security storage.

Later, Albedo stole the Ultimatrix from Azmuth and was able to stabilize the core, as well as surpassing the prototype Omnitrix by adding the evolutionary function. Unfortunately for him, Ben's DNA was still the default for the Omnitrix and the Ultimatrix was still linked to the same database, so Albedo only had access to Ben's current aliens, which excluded Grey Matter. Allying himself with Vilgax, he agreed to help him so he could turn himself back to normal, while Vilgax could have the Earth. After Albedo as Negative Ultimate Humungousaur easily defeated Ben as Humungousaur.

Also why did Azmuth not like the Ultimatrix at all?

Let me explain the reasons for Azmuth's dislike towards the Ultimatrix.

Even though Albedo self proclaimed that his Ultimatrix is better than Omnitrix, it was actually not because the device was not complete and was not more advanced compared to the Original Omnitrix.

I remembered that once Azmuth called the Ultimatrix "Pathetic craftsmanship" and the evolutionary function "begging for trouble" when he first saw the device.

In Ben 10 Ultimate alien series, Ben had always some issues using the Ultimatrix.

Like the Ultimatrix's mistransformations due to the fault of Albedo's shoddy work.

The Ultimatrix always went into Capture Mode whenever there was a sapient species DNA that is not in the Codon Stream within its proximity. Thus, Ben couldn't use the device to transform until the DNA is obtained or the specimen is no longer in range.

Also the genetic repair function of the Ultimatrix is way too inferior to the Omnitrix because of the energy consumption to repair the genetic damage of any alien species.

The Original Omnitrix managed to repair the genetic damage of the entire Highbreed alien species when they were on the verge of their extinction. It required all the available power to repair the genetic damage of the entire race.

But the Ultimatrix could not use the genetic repair function due to insufficient power to do so. It is later revealed by Unitrix or Eunice that Ultimatrix is not capable of repairing the genetic damage of the entire Xenocite infested Arachnichimps.

The Ultimatrix did not possess the ability to revive species stored on Primus, due to it not being added by Azmuth at the stage of development it was in and Albedo didn't add it.

It was also hacked, copied and absorbed as Inspector 13's was able to breach the security measures and activate Master Control. The sentient nanite Alpha was able to absorb and copy the Ultimatrix due to the passive nanites the watch absorbed from Rex Salazar in Ben 10/Generator Rex: Heroes United.

Because of the evolutionary function in the Ultimatrix made it view as a weapon. The Ultimate forms eventually became sentient inside the Ultimatrix which is another glitch of the Evolutionary function that Azmuth had to fix later.

Later Azmuth took the Ultimatrix and gave Ben a new complete Omnitrix. He later destroyed the Ultimatrix offscreen because in his view, the device was unstable and pathetic.

Right now, I have fixed all the glitches and studied the evolutionary function carefully.

You could say the evolutionary function is ready to be install in the Omnitrix.

Another problem is that Azmuth of 23rd dimension who created the Omnitrix that I have.

He will know instantly about my tampering with the Omnitrix. I am aware that he is observing me via the Omnitrix.

That's why I have not installed improved evolutionary function yet in the Omnitrix. Maybe the right time.

Now I should focus on the things that are still pending to complete.

I went to the living room where my grandparents currently present.

Both of them are sitting on the couch and are talking to each other.

Now they stopped their conversation when they saw me.

Max: Hello Rex. Anything special planned for your sister's birthday?

Rex: Already planned grandpa. But where is she?

Verdona: Oh, she was gone shopping with her friends.

Rex: Really, why she is taking so long?

Max: Relax Rex, I know that you are worried for her. Don't treat her like kid.

Rex: Grandpa, she is a 14 years old. Don't spoil her. I have been observing that she is coming late to home for 5 days.

Albion: [Siscon.]

Rex: [Shut up, Butt Dragon Emperor.]

Lykaon: {Hahahaha 😂🤣😂🤣. Take this, Albion. Partner knows how to shut up your mouth.}

Albion: [Damn you both.]

Then I felt a familiar presence entering the mansion.

It revealed a girl with a beautiful and cute figure for her age. She has long silver hair tied in a ponytail with a pink ribbon. She has purple and pinkish eyes which are beautiful and alluring.

???: I am back. Hello big bro.-she said nervously.

Rex: Hello Hope. Now tell me, what took you so long for coming home late this time?- I asked her seriously.

That's right everyone. Let me introduce my adopted younger sister, Caroline Hope Tennyson. We call her Hope in short.

She is also known by the "Charmcaster", the enemy of Ben Tennyson and arch rival of Gwen Tennyson of the Prime dimension.

In this dimension, she is my younger sister.
