Mystique, using her shapeshifting abilities, transformed her arms into sharp blades, slicing through the hard rock and making the digging process faster. Jean used her telekinetic powers to lift and move the larger pieces of debris out of the way, while Scott used his optic blasts to disintegrate the smaller pieces of rubble.

Alex used his energy manipulation to create a protective barrier around John as he dug, shielding him from any potential danger that could arise from the underground area. And Logan, with his adamantium claws, helped to clear the path, cutting through any obstacles that stood in their way.

After several minutes of intense digging, the group finally uncovered a hidden entrance that led underground. John sensed the presences getting stronger as they approached the entrance. With a quick nod to the team, they proceeded underground, prepared for whatever they might find.

As they descended, they found themselves in a dimly lit underground chamber. The air was stale, and the walls were lined with makeshift prison cells. Inside the cells were a group of mutant prisoners, all of whom looked exhausted and fearful.

The prisoners appeared to be young teenagers of different ethnicities. Some were even younger. Their wrists were shackled with a device, and their mouths were also restrained, making it impossible for them to scream for help.

Moreover, the underground chamber was huge and consisted of two rooms. The first room contained 10 mutants, while the second room held a total of 15 people.

John heaved a sigh of relief that all of them were alive. He had almost killed a few innocent kids who were just a few years younger than him.

Logan and the others quickly unlocked the cells and started helping the mutants out of the underground chamber before it could collapse.

John hurried towards the next room when he noticed that the people there didn't seem to be in good condition. The chamber appeared to be barely hanging on and could collapse at any minute. John sighed and approached the entrance of the second room. He saw that it appeared to be shut tightly, so he used his strength to force the door open and stepped inside.

As he looked around, he saw more mutant prisoners, all of whom were unconscious. In the center of the room, he saw Wanda on her knees with her hands up in the air, surrounded by a red glow that covered her hands and the ceiling of the underground chamber. Wanda appeared to be utterly exhausted as she held the entire ceiling from falling and crushing them to death. Her face was filled with sweat, which seemed to burn her eyes.

Behind Wanda, two people were lying on the ground unconscious. John recognized them to be Natasha and Hawkeye.

Exhausted, Wanda noticed John entering the room and realized her cover was exposed. She was too weak to think about what John would do to her now that she was caught. Maybe she could lie her way out of it or maybe not, all she wanted now was to get the kids out of here.

As John rushed towards her, he used the sleeve of his shirt to wipe the sweat off her face.

Struggling to speak, Wanda looked towards the young mutants in the prison, barely 12 years old, and pleaded, "Please help them."

Just then, Jean entered the room, her telepathic powers allowing her to sense the danger and rush to the scene. Seeing Wanda struggling to hold up the ceiling, she immediately used her own telekinetic abilities to help support the weight and relieve Wanda of some of the strain.

John wasted no time in rushing to the prison cells and using his brute strength to force them open, releasing the unconscious mutant children. At the same time, Logan and others entered the room and started opening the prisons, carrying the unconscious kids out of the underground chamber.

They also saved Natasha and Clint, taking them out of the chamber.

After carrying the last kid out of the room, John rushed to the underground chamber once again.

Meanwhile, Jean and Wanda worked together to keep the ceiling from collapsing until all of them were safely out of the underground chamber. However, Wanda seemed to be slipping slowly out of consciousness, as the red glow covering the ceiling slowly faded out.

Just then, John, who had entered the room, saw Wanda falling towards the ground, unconscious. He rushed towards her before she could hit the ground. Carrying her in his arms, John rushed out of the room while shouting, "Jean, hold on for a few seconds."

Jean nodded her head, sweat tickling on her face. The strain on Jean doubled as she struggled to hold the entire celing by herself.

John made his way out of the underground chamber, careful not to trip or stumble with Wanda in his arms. He quickly laid her down on the ground and checked for her pulse and breathing. Finding them both stable, he let out a sigh of relief.

As John and Wanda exited the chamber, Jean also released the ceiling and stumbled out, wondering how Wanda had been able to hold on by herself all that time. She saw Wanda lying on the ground and John checking on her, and quickly made her way over to them.

"What happened? Is she okay?" Jean asked, worry evident in her voice. She seemed to have a good impression of Wanda, as she had helped all the mutant kids at the expense of her own life.

"Yeah, she's just exhausted from holding up that ceiling and using too much of her strength," John replied, still examining Wanda.

John carefully lifted Wanda and carried her towards the flying ship.

Meanwhile, Logan and the team guided the kids to the ship.

The Professor, who was waiting for them at the ship, had already understood the gist of the situation.

He had a frown on his face as he eyed the unconscious Rhino and Omega Red.

Just then, John sensed another ship flying towards them at great speed. Not long after, the ship quickly appeared in the clearing and started to land slowly.

A smirk could be seen on Aurora and Toad's faces as they quickly approached the ship.
