1 Chapter 1

Yuki had seen death all around him. His parents died in a car crash after leaving him with his sister.

His sister died after she rejected a proposal, in anger the teen had killed her.

His best friend died after he committed suicide.

Yuki was not afraid of death, as long as something would bring death to him, then he was not afraid. Yuki simply accepted it as a fact that eventually everything would end.

Maybe this was why he did not care that he was going to be run over by a car.

He opened his eyes once again to see a dark silhouette sitting opposite to him in a small table. "Where am I?" The silhouette took a sip of tea before answering him.

"You are currently in a space called the void."

Yuki took it all in as he made an assumption. "I assume I'm dead?"

The figure nodded as he sipped more tea. "You are currently dead, however, you have been chosen through lottery to live a second life."

Yuki narrowed his eyes as nothing ever came free.

"What do you want?"

The dark silhouette chuckled as he let out a sigh "I like sharp people like you. Straight to the point."

"Basically in return for a second life, you will be travelling different worlds and be completing missions. Quests if you will."

Yuki nodded as he asked one more question. "Why do I have Mystic Eyes of Death Perception?"

Yuki simply didn't ask in the beginning as he tried to figure out why he had a fictional power.

The silhouette smiled as if he waited for this question. "Simply put, you had the mystic eyes yet you were in a world where supernatural didn't exist. Now you are in a place where anything could happen, therefore your eyes now show."

Yuki was about to speak yet he was cut off.

"You know, your mystic eyes are neither Tohno's or Ryougi's. They're quite strange as if it was a mix. Maybe due to your life."

Yuki simply nodded as he tried to shut off the mystic eyes. Simply by willing it the void returned to normal.

"Right first let's get you a world first."

A blue panel appeared as dozens of worlds appeared finally stopping at [DxD] the man smiled "Oh ho, it seems you got an interesting one."

"Right why don't you allocate your first ten free stat points?"

Yuki nodded as he put most of his stats on Agi, Vit and Int. As he had the mystic eyes he would not need strength.

A/N: For bench mark a peak human has 5 in every stat.

Str: 6

Agi: 7(+4)

Vit: 6(+4)

Int: 7(+2)

The man smiled before sliding an object into view. "This is now yours, details will be left in the house."

A dagger came into view, it was a simple one sided short dagger with a gold handle. The man smiled as Yuki tried to speak. "Yep! It's exactly what you think! That's all for the starter phase."

Yuki blanked out as he opened his eyes to find himself on a bed. A note explained that all of his legal documents were provided in the drawer and that he would have to meet Sona to enter the school.

Yuki sighed as he went over to the mirror before willing his eyes to change. His black eyes shifted as it glowed icy blue with a pink ring near the pupil. His eyes pulsed with energy as cracks and lines appeared everywhere, it didn't disturb him in the least and he felt no strain using the eyes.

Perhaps this is what the old man was talking about. Him not caring about death maybe had a effect on his mystic eyes.

Shaking his head he looked at the main quests.

[Defeat Riser Phenex and either Kill or Mutilate him.]

[Main Quest 2]

[Become an influential figure in the supernatural world]

Yuki dressed up in his uniform and hid his dagger in the spatial storage given to him before heading to school. The school was even bigger in real life as it was almost like a mansion. The school gates slowly came into view as Sona stood there waiting.

Yuki approached and interacted first. "Um excuse me? I'm assuming your the student council president?"

Sona nodded as she also replied "You are probably the transfer student I'm supposed to guide?"

Yuki nodded as he gave her the papers as Sona led him to his class.

The classroom quietened down as soon as he stepped in. His face was perfectly proportioned and he was basically a girls dream. Yet it was his eyes that made them quiet down, his eyes were a deep abyss.

Yuki bowed before writing his name on the board.

"Yuki Kiyoshi, nice to meet you."

He slowly walked over to his designated desk before just sitting down in silence.

Yuki had a quick peek on Issei before seeing that he could also see the point of death. His eyes immediately returned to its normal black colour.

Issei felt a shiver as if his death was coming, he quickly turned to the direction he thought he had felt it coming from. It was the transfer student yet he was gazing outside the window with serenity.

Nah it couldn't have been from him. Right?

Yuki nodded as he confirmed the statement of the man's words. The lines and points of death were indeed present.

Then it seems the other part should hold true as well. Yuki decided not to recklessly use his eyes until canon came into play.

The easiest bit without exposing himself would be when Kiba encounters Freed. Or maybe the church?

Either way, it gave Yuki enough time to train.
