My eyes glanced around the spacious room filled with everyone who should be happy for me at this very moment and wish me and my would be husband to have a good life. Every bride would want their family members to be happy at their wedding but right now I can't blame my family for looking like they were attending a funeral. Even my own brother refused to show up.

Everyone in this church seemed to overlook the look of distraught on my parents faces. They didn't seem to care that I had tears in my eyes as well.

The guests eyes were filled with anticipation as they awaited for my answer. But how on earth could I just answer this question, yes it was a seemingly simple question where all I had to do was say yes or no.

But how could I just answer this question like it didn't matter?

After tonight nothing in my life would be the same. Nor will I be able to return to whom my heart longs for.

I looked at the older man who stood with a serious look on his face, his face was stone hard with a thick beard. Looking at him you could tell he was handsome in his prime years but he had now visibly aged. I remember seeing him when I was younger and thinking I'd love to marry a man as handsome as him, never did I imagine I'd ever be standing here about to marry him.

"Sam...he asked you a question." The man beside me whispered with a forced smile on his face to hide the annoyance flashing through his eyes.

I turn to him, looking in his eyes. "I can't do this."

He takes my gloved hand in his, "Don't do this. I beg you."

"I thought I could do this but I seriously can't." My words leave him

angry as he gives me a cold glare.

"We have a deal don't you dare forget, your family is depending on this marriage happening and so is your father's company."

His threatening words don't fail to leave me feeling terrified as a cold chill runs down my back. I turn to my father who sat in front dressed in all black sat beside my mother who couldn't stop crying, she had her head rested on my dad's shoulder as her body shuddered.

I turn to the priest who stood awkwardly awaiting my response.

"I do." I said with a shaky voice. This was my only chance to save my Family, this was my duty as their eldest daughter to step up.

"Mr Micheal Sakurada will you take-"

"I do there's no question about that." He smiles looking at me lovingly, that would be enough to fool people looking in from the outside but I knew the only reason he was looking at me like that was only because I had just given him what he wanted.

"If anyone objects speak now or forever hold your peace."

Even after saying I do, I patiently waited and secretly prayed someone would take a look at me and see that this isn't right. I hoped anyone would run up to me and grab my hand and take me far away from him but I knew no such person would come for me.

Saving myself was out of the question. I couldn't stop this marriage from happening even if that was what I truly wanted. I couldn't disappoint my family again.

"Well then, I pronounce you-"

"Stop!"

The doors of the church are pushed open leaving the church in shock.

I turn around feeling my heart race as it seems my wish was coming true, someone will save me but who?

"What the hell is the meaning of this Kento?!" Micheal yells in anger to the younger man who just walked in. He was dressed in a black tux with a black shirt without a tie. His shoulder length hair was curly making it look like a mop of curls decorated his face.

"You can't marry him Sammy!" His words catch me off-guard.

I had never seen him before that I was certain of but I can confirm whole heartedly that I have never been so happy to see a stranger before.

"What are you playing at Nicholas?!" My would be husband walks over to the younger man absolutely fuming.

"I know you've never considered me family but forcing my girlfriend to marry you isn't right uncle!"

His words leave me, the priest and everyone in shock. I'm sure the reason I was shocked wasn't the same as everyone else.

I just couldn't believe the lie this man just told looking absolutely believable. Even I (knowing the truth) almost believed him.

"Samantha!" My dad called out sounding angry or confused I wasn't sure.

Kento or Nicholas looks at me with tear filled eyes. "Sammy. I promise I won't let him hurt you or your family...just come with me please."

How does this man know about this? How did he know I was in this situation? Was he really going to help me? Does he want some thing in return? Or is he only here to fool everyone and cause a scene? All of these questions need to be answered but I was probably not going to get answers anytime soon.

"What the hell do you think you're doing right now? Have you lost your mind child?" This time you could tell micheal was pissed almost ready to murder his nephew.

"I'm not crazy for being in love uncle!" He says looking at me with affection.

I don't know what possesses me to suddenly move towards the two men. Taking a deep breath Before I did what I think is the craziest thing I've done in my life.

"W-why did you take so long to come here?!" My words cause everyone to gasp, my sister Terra and best friends get up in shock.

"Samantha what the hell are you doing!" She yells at me.

"What on earth is this?" My best friend Naomi questions looking concerned.

I ignore her turning to the man. "You dissapeard...I didn't have any other choice!"

"I'm here now. Trust me." He says extending his hand out to me for me to take.

"Promise you'll look after me?"

"I promise."

I take his hand unsure if I had just left my family in ruin and destroyed any chance of our company's survival. Micheal Sakurada is a powerful business mogul and his family is known as one of the richest families in the world.

Today I just disrespected a billionare by leaving him at the alter to run off with his nephew whom I don't even know.

We ran out of the church hand in hand ignoring people calling our names. I felt like a bird being let free into the wild after being caged for years and now it could spread its wings and fly.

Taking in the fresh air I smile in satisfaction feeling my lungs getting filled with air.

We get to his car parked outside the church finally so he releases my hand. He turns to me and says, "Get in."

I turn around when Micheal calls my name. He stood with my father looking like he was about to have a heart attack or something.

"If you come back right now I'll forgive you Samantha."

I look at Nicholas unsure of what to do. He looks at me probably sensing my hesitation.

"Let's go. I promise I'll handle everything."

I can tell he was serious as the look of determination filled his eyes. I turn back to Micheal before saying.

"I'm sorry but I love him."
