Nope

"Nah I don't got the time to deal with this crap" Says Clay as he immediately pressed the teleport icon on the map.

Just as Clay was being turned into bright balls of light, the creature finally appeared, revealing itself to be... a baby horned rabbit who was curious about the explosion sounds that came from the edge of the forest.

Sadly Clay couldn't see this as he had already lost his vision and was currently soaring into the skies as pieces of balls of light.

...

..

.

'Phew, that was close' Clay thought as he wiped the nonexistent sweat on his face.

'I wonder if dinner is ready yet'

That question soon got answered though as he smelled a pleasant fragrance wafting around in the air.

"That answers that then"

Clay exited his room and headed toward the dinner table contemplating how he could deliver the news in the most subtle way possible.

The fragrance was getting stronger as he got closer to the table, with Clay's thoughts appearing and disappearing simultaneously. Every second was like a minute to Clay who could think much more faster than a normal person could.

Soon, he arrived at the dinner table with organized thoughts and planned sentences to say for specific questions that might or might not be asked.

"But hey, better prepared than never, right?" Clay couldn't help but notice the absolute 'flow' state he was in. He was so utterly focused on thinking of responses so much that his every movement was calculated with masterful precision by his subconscious. All his steps didn't even cause any damage to the wooden floor as if he had already adjusted to the strength that had been suddenly given to him perfectly.

Judging from the look his family was giving him he guessed that his sister mentioned the 'parting gift' to his mother, to which the latter probably understood the reason for that, after all, she was the one that mentioned for Clay to go to the village hall.

A gentle smile of understanding targeted at Clay sprouted on his mother's face as she prepared the table.

Clay naturally noticed this smile and all his planning and preparation crumbled as he looked at the love and gentleness his mother was showcasing to him.

'It's okay. That's what you're saying huh?' Clay gave a bitter smile as he knew he wouldn't be able to see them for a long time once he goes to the school.

'... Wait a minute, don't I have a map that could literally teleport me here?' This time Clay's lips curled up to be more genuine than his previous bitter smile.

'Well, I guess we should eat first before delving into those sensitive subjects, don't wanna ruin the good food after all'

Clay pulled out the same chair that he had been using ever since he could remember, at the same table that had been there his whole life, in the same room it had been staying, at the same house that he had called, home.

*Burp*

"Ahh, that really hits the spot" Clay said as he rubbed his bulging belly.

There was no response however as both the people sitting with him on the table were staring at him as if asking for answers.

"I guess I can't delay it any longer" Clay said with a sigh.

"Anyway, I'm going to the elite school with Josh, yeah, that's basically it"

"WHAT?!" Clay's sister Belle's shout practically nearly exploded Clay's eardrums which were much more sensitive thanks to the power-up his body has been through, but that means his eardrums were also strengthened, so thankfully, his eardrums were not ruptured.

"Lower your voice, please, I nearly turned deaf because of you" Clay said as he rubbed his ears which were still ringing, his ears couldn't adapt to the sudden increase in sound in time so it was ringing in order to recalibrate themselves which was giving Clay a hard time to speak as each second was lasting longer thanks to the increase in adrenaline as a result from the ear ringing pain.

"B-but you're leaving"

"Hey, hey, I got a map remember? I can come back here any time I want, so, uhh, wait, why are you crying? Don't cry okay? I can come back at any time remember?" Clay tried explaining but was at a loss for words once he saw that his sister was threatening to burst into tears.

"Uwuwuu" Belle nodded while rubbing the snot slowly dripping out her nose.

"Are you sure you can come back, Clay?" His mother asked him.

"Yeah, I'm sure, however, I need to make a map of the school so I can come back, so it might take a few days, look after Mom while I'm gone, okay Belle?" Clay gently rubbed Belle's hair in an attempt to comfort her.

"Don't mess up my hair" Belle swatted Clay's hands away as she rearranged her hair that Clay had messed up. Clay laughed awkwardly as he brought his hand back.

"So, yeah, they said the school would send in some money, that would be a ton of help right?"

"So you did this just for money?" Belle questioned Clay as tears started to gather again.

"No, that's not what I mean, the money was just a plus" Clay tried defending himself.

"So why did you want to go?" Belle stayed persistent

"That's, uhh" Clay's lightning-fast thought process started as he thought of a believable excuse.

"Because humans are social creatures right? Yeah, I want to talk to other people, what's wrong with that?" Clay put on the most wronged look he could put on.

Right after Clay said his excuse, both his mother and his sister started looking at him weirdly.

"What? Is there something on my face?"

"No, it's just, you do know that you don't like talking with strangers right?" Mrs. Mapa explained.

"Yeah, I mean, after all these years you only have one friend" Belle joined in.
