5 First Map!

Clay decided that he would take a rest before doing his quest, after all, he hadn't slept a lot and was currently running on fumes, so he ate a light meal consisting of bread and soup and then proceeded to take a nap.

1 hour 36 minutes and 21 seconds later...

*yawn*

Clay let out a satisfied yawn as he pondered what he had to do.

'First, explore my system, second, create a map, and lastly...'

'I don't know what to do next' Clay was bummed, he thought he could at least think of three things to do. It turns out he wasn't really productive after all.

'I guess I can help out with chores after I finish'

Clay looked out the window, it was about time for the sun's zenith considering he had woken up at 7 in the morning to get ready for the ceremony, it was now around noon.

Clay did some light stretches to warm up for the activities he would do later on.

"Mhm" Clay let out a comfortable groan as he stretched.

'Open ongoing quest, Beginnings 2' Clay tried to see if he could take a shortcut to open the quest.

'Oh, ok, looks like I have to take a walk around then' Clay's mood deflated as he thought of walking around the whole town.

With a sigh, he stood up from his bed and began walking to the door.

Seeing his mom on the way he told her that he was going out for a while. Leaving her bewildered as she knew he wouldn't normally be going out at this time, but she didn't question it, thinking that he needed some space after getting the F class rating news.

'Open system' Clay thought as he closed the door of his home, directly being greeted by the sight of people walking around and kids having fun here and there.

The village Clay lived in was called Cantor's Retreat it was slightly bigger than an average village but smaller than a town, the name came from when a Kingdom called Cantor was having a war with a neighboring kingdom, the soldiers of Cantor were ambushed as they were marching to the battlefield, the ambush was effective as soldiers retreated to the place where the village currently resides in, hence the name- Cantor's Retreat. It is not very pleasing to have the name of a village reminding you of your loss in a skirmish, fortunately, the Cantor kingdom no longer exists, so no one could witness the humiliation that would appear on their faces.

The village was part of a town, albeit a little separated from it, with a 10-minute walking distance between the two. There was a city nearby the town and village, roughly a 30-minute drive by carriage.

As Clay was wandering around he decided to check his system shop.
