Alex looked at the white VR gaming helmet in his hand as he sighed helplessly. It was the latest gaming helmet that was only compatible with the new VR MMORPG game, 'Universal Lord'.

But that wasn't the main point. The main point was that Alex was forced to play it against his will by his very own cute and sweet little sister. And also because it was his sister that he couldn't refuse her.

Normally, everyone should have been excited about this new VR game as it was not only a 100% real-world simulation game but a player could also make a huge amount of money just by playing it.

Logically, people would be willing to spend money in order to enjoy themselves. But if someone told them that they could instead earn money while also enjoying themselves, then wouldn't they go crazy.

But obviously, Alex didn't belong to this category.

Although Alex was a huge fan of games, it was only if he could play them while lying on his bed. But this was clearly not the case with the new VR game, Universal Lord. As it was similar to a second world for humans and players would have to move their virtual body just like they do in their real life.

Hence upon her persuasion as well as with the help of her parents, she finally managed to convince Alex to play the game.

And when Alex agreed, she quickly brought out a white VR gaming helmet from her room. It was at that moment Alex realised, that he cheated by his sister. She had already planned all of this in advance.

In the end, Alex could only shake his head and accept his fate. He went back to his room and connected the gaming helmet according to the manual. After that he lay on his bed before wearing the helmet and loging in.

As he logged in, Alex could feel his vision blurring for a second before it returned back to normal. He then found himself in a pure white room with a crystal orb floating in front of him.

Alex already knew what he had to do so he simply put his hand on the crystal orb. From what he learnt on the internet, this was an awakening orb which would help a player awaken their talent.

Talents were one of the few things in the game world that couldn't be bought by coins. They not only gave additional power to the players but also unlock a special class for players who have awakened a talent, even if it was the worst kind.

The special class was called the Lord. As the name suggests, players would have to build their own forces if they were to select the Lord class. But at the same time, they would also have to spend huge amount of resources on their territory and subjects which of course includes money. And the number wasn't small as well.

Therefore, generally players with low grade talents wouldn't select the Lord class. Since only about 1% of the players could awaken a talent, there were only a pitiful number of Lord class players in the entire server. Much less those with high grade talents.

After a few seconds, the orb glowed with a bright light as a game interface popped up above it.

[ Mysterious Draw (SSS grade) - For every five levels the player could obtain a summoning card at random. The grades of the summoning cards are locked at S and above. ]

[ Quadruple Bloodlines (S grade) - Allows the player to bear four different bloodlines in his or her body at the same time. ]

Looking at this simple yet not so simple notification, Alex couldn't help but doubt reality. But he was able to believe it quickly because for him, it was just a simple VR game that he was playing because he didn't want to or rather couldn't refuse his younger sister.

Only if he knew the truth about this game that almost every player was aware about.

Alex didn't dwell upon it as he moved towards the next phase that was to select his in-game name or IGN for short. Without giving another thought, he went with the IGN he always used for playing games. Little Puppy.

Although it was embarrassing for him at first when his sister literally ordered him to use this IGN, but as time passed by, he got used to him. As for the IGN that his sister used, many must have guessed it already.
