Close to his residence, Seichi found himself in a state of exhaustion after running non-stop for thirty minutes at full speed, trying to evade the persistent girl chasing him. Panting because of his physical condition, he thought, "Maybe I should consider working out more."

Suddenly, a loud scream pierced the air as the girl appeared out of nowhere and attempted to kick Seichi. Through a nimble leap forward, he managed to avoid her attack, causing her to collide with the surrounding walls of a nearby house. The impact was so forceful that the walls crumbled as she extracted her leg.

The commotion caught the attention of an elderly woman, likely the homeowner, who rushed to see what had happened. Upon witnessing the girl next to the debris of her walls, she reacted sharply, accusing her of causing the destruction. "What did you do, you young bitch?!"

"How did you call me?! You old wench!" In response, the young girl shockingly retorted by insulting the elderly woman. The situation escalated when she blamed Seichi for the incident while pointing in his direction. However, upon investigation, it became apparent that there was no one there.

Seichi took advantage of this distraction and promptly fled towards his home without looking back.

Frustrated by Seichi's escape, Miyaki cursed silently before feeling something wrapping around her leg. Confused by this unexpected turn of events, she exclaimed, "What is going on?"

The elderly woman calmly stated, "You will face consequences for your actions," as another earth tentacle emerged from the ground, wrapping around Miyuki's leg. "I must have forgotten to mention that I hold a B-rank status as a Uniqueness User and an A-rank as an Earth Warlock."

Miyuki found herself ensnared by earth tentacles instantly. The elderly woman remarked, "This is the consequence disrespectful brats get!"

"Release me immedia-!" Miyuki began to protest before being silenced by an earth tentacle entering her mouth. The elderly woman's memory lapses due to Alzheimer's became evident. "You even demand to be released when you... you... ehm, what did you do again?"

Miyuki attempted to speak but was interrupted by the tentacle blocking her mouth. The elderly woman removed it so that Miyuki could explain, "I was chasing the individual who damaged your walls when you apprehended me, mistaking me for the culprit."

She was really taking advantage of a poor old woman with Alzheimer...

"I understand, my apologies, young lady," said the elderly woman as she let go of her grip on the girl.

"Okay, grandma, what should we do about the damaged walls?" inquired the girl, only to receive a surprising response, "What? Is there something wrong with the walls around here?"

The old woman then turned towards the direction where the broken part of the wall was located and noticed numerous concrete pieces scattered around. "This is a mess! Who is responsible for this chaos?!"

Miyuki remained silent this time. It was puzzling how such a strong woman could display signs of forgetfulness.

Only after several hours did the granny manage to repair the walls using her Uniqueness called Paste. She gathered all the concrete pieces, assembled them like a puzzle, and pasted them back onto the damaged section of the walls.

Miyuki was eventually freed as she cleverly took advantage of the old lady's memory issues. Poor woman.

Meanwhile, at Seichi's home...

"Phew... I managed to avoid that crazy girl," he remarked while closing his front door.

"I still have some time before meeting my mentor tonight; therefore, conducting further research on my unique abilities won't hurt."

After dedicating four hours to research and experimentation...

"I've finally determined the limits of my Adaptability Uniqueness," he declared with determination as he clenched his fist. "With this power, not only can I develop resistance to various things but also gain immunity to them by adapting sufficiently."

"Like, after testing this thing by making my hand endure direct contact with fire for three hours straight, I gained immunity to that particular type of flame and heat."

"In addition, my body now even adapts faster during training sessions, which has accelerated my progress by a lot." Seichi was pleased with the results achieved in just four hours. As he admired his muscles in the mirror, he noticed the time on the clock: 6:46 p.m.

Realizing he might be late for his master's first lesson, Seichi hurriedly dressed and left for his master's place.

After walking for twenty minutes, Seichi remarked on the opulence of the neighborhood where his master lived, filled with mansions and villas.

Upon reaching what he believed to be his master's residence based on the address provided, Seichi was taken aback by the sight before him. A grand three-story mansion stood before him, blending modern and classic styles with imposing walls surrounding a vast garden featuring a stunning crystal-clear pool.

Although overwhelmed by its magnificence and doubting whether this could truly be his master's home due to its grandeur, Seichi decided to at least knock on the door as per the address provided.

Upon hearing a knock on the front door, a mature voice from inside the house responded, "I will be there shortly." Shortly after, the same voice inquired, "Who is it?"

"It's Tetsuo Seichi," came the reply, prompting the door to open and revealing a woman with green hair in a revealing pajama.
