Chapter 70

[Location: New York Institute] [3rd POV]

It was later that same day, towards midnight. The shadowhunters had ended up finding Jonathan thanks to a neat little rune that Clary's angel had given her, and a small boost from Talia and magic. The Shadowhunters had left to go and find them, while Talia and Hope stayed behind. Why? Because Talia was waiting for a certain being to be summoned, so that she can gain a very special gift from it.

Currently, Talia was sipping on some coffee while reading through a grimoire Magnus had given her, Hope on her side reading her own grimoire's Talia had given her.

"Are you going to let Jonathan get away?" Hope asked, knowing that he and his "mother" were both serious threats, mainly his adoptive mother, Lilith, the greater demon, and basically queen of demons.

"Nope. I've already got a tracking spell on him, so that the second he falls into that lake, I can go and completely finish him off. You don't have to worry about him coming back, because he won't, not after I'm done with him at least" Talia replied with a comforting smile, knowing Hope was just worried.

"And what about Lilith? Won't she come here after finding out about her sons death?" Hope asked.

"Hmm, she will, but I can deal with her easily enough. She isn't really all that strong, it's just her demonic army that can be an actual problem, and even that is only due to it's basically infinite size" Talia replied with a hum, knowing that Lilith herself isn't really all that strong, it's just the demons themselves that could become a threat, only due to the sheer amount of them.

Even Talia can get overrun, if attacked by enough people. And while she could still "die" it quite literally couldn't be permanent. Hope knew this, but she'd rather not see her beloved mate dead, even if it was for a short while. It was one of the reasons Hope was cautious of Valentine, as he had the soul sword, something that could probably momentarily kill Talia, thanks to it's nature as being quite literally made by the angels, and blessed by them.

"I know it's just...I can't help but worry. I don't want anything bad to happen to you" Hope said softly, as Talia put her book to the side with a soft smile.

"You don't need to worry, love. I've got it all under control" Talia said, before grinning as she pulled Hope onto her lap, causing the girl to squeal slightly, before giggling as Talia placed kisses all over her face.

"*giggle* stop it!" Hope giggled out, as Talia softly kissed her on the lips. Hope melted into the kiss slowly, enjoying the warmth.

Taking their lips off eachothers, Hope leaned against Talia's chest, with Talia putting her chin on the top of Hope's head softly. "I love you" Hope said softly.

"I love you too, babygirl" Talia said with a smile, as Hope slowly but surely fell asleep in her embrace.

Holding her now sleeping girlfriend in her arms, Talia chuckled as she leaned back. 'God she's so adorable' Talia thought lovingly, her beloved mate softs snores entering her ears.

'Jonathan should be going down soon, when that happens, he'll be dead, for real this time. And with that, it will leave only Valentine, then, I'll be done with this world, for good' Talia thought with a smile, knowing that there wasn't much longer till she left this world. Well, besides getting with her other two mates, and making sure they're okay with leaving as well.

'I should probably start going into the new dungeon soon, after Valentine's gone at least. I need to get some actual items or abilities from RWBY, a certain set of eyes being the most preferable of the bunch. A apple of eden or something from Assassins Creed could be good too, not that many of them are all that strong or anything' Talia thought, softly stroking her girlfriends hair.

She knew that RWBY had way too many helpful abilities, items, and more. Too many for her to just leve it up with quests, and not through the dungeon itself, where she can get items, knowledge, and all sorts of stuff from that world. The 4 artifacts could be especially helpful, if used properly at least.

'I guess it's time to start thinking about the next world more thoroughly, too. Somewhere the girls can get stronger is preferable, as they need it a lot more than me. A world that I can get power from would be nice too, but not really needed with a system like mine' Talia thought, before a face of realization hit her.

'Now that I think about it...there is one world that could check those boxes. But, it would be extremely dangerous for them, and potentially even me...but the positives are there too' Talia thought, as a certain world entered her head, as she began to contemplate whether or not it would be a good world to go to.

'The power level of the world varies too...it'd be perfect for them, and me, to grow in, while still not being so overwhelmingly dangerous like some other options. Eventually I'm going to have to go to stronger worlds though, and some of them are going to need a lot more than a simple power-up' Talia thought, as she began to form new plans in her head, for the future.

'I guess I'm going to have to start seriously looking into rituals, serums, potions, and all sorts of crap, in order for the girls to be strong enough to travel with me. Otherwise, they'll be left in the dust' Talia thought with a sigh, knowing all of that was going to be an absolute pain in the ass. But, it'd be worth it in the future, if they have the power to protect themselves against threats, even when she isn't there to do it for them.

Talia stopped as she felt a sensation, as her magic tracker on Jonathan went off.

'For now though, let's go kill a freak, and then get me a little gift from Raziel'

Next chapter will have a bit more going on, and will be a bit longer, as this was sort of a inbetween chapter. Some smut will be appearing sooner or later too, but not for another few chapters at least. The date between Izzy and Talia is going to be happening soon too.
