We went back home as it got dark , I was exited about what happened in the cave which made me curious even more .

I was curious about how were the rocks able to change colours as I touched them ,but didn't change colours when Jerry touched them .

Does this mean I'm different or abnormal ,well no matter what I am I will except it for I can't change who I am .

It got dark quickly ,the wind was blowing smoothly like tiny breaths from a boiling water , the stars were shiny as the crystals from the cave .

I went a bit closer to the ladder next to the fruit shop , uh ! what an amazing world we are living in .

I bought an apple from the shop and sat along looking at those stars .

It got even darker as time passed by , I went back home and had some sleep hoping to have a bright day tomorrow .

I woke up early in the morning and went outside the tent , I washed my face and ate some food .

As I finished ,I saw some group of people from our village talking seriously and concerned ," hi Jerry , what is going on ?" I asked Jerry who was standing behind the back of those people, " there is some bad news , your parents were hurt during their journey and they are returning back to the village" she replied .

My heart stopped as I herd her last words , I was so worried that I didn't know what to do.

" the Chief is Coming ! " The village messenger announced , everyone started murmuring and talking side by side while I rushed towards the entrance.

" Mom !Dad !" I panicked as I saw them completely tired and laying on their horses "

" Mom , what happened " I said while my hands started shivering .

"don't worry honey ,we are okay " Mom smiled , they were taken to the healing center to get treatments , I was really worried , I waited for hours and hours ,but they were still inside ,I tried to calm myself by sitting down ,but it made me more nervous ,so I stand up . I spent most of the hours sitting and standing up in stress .

" they are going to be okay " My aunt said as she hold my hands " but what if they are not , what am I going to do without them " I said nervously as tears drop from my eyes " am sure they are okay , remember what your father thought you , never lose hope and always stay positive " my aunt smiled " Dad always say that ,but this is different " I nodded .

I was so worried ,What could've injured them on their way ? .

The healer came out of the tent and gave us good news " your parents are okay ,but they need to get plenty of rest." he nodded " thank you " my aunt smiled .

I rushed inside the tent as I herd the news from the healer , mom and dad were sleeping peacefuly like a sleepy baby ,though they looked very hurt and tired .

I didn't wake them up cause I didn't want to disturb them ,So I gave them a kiss on the forehead and went outside the tent .

I went back to our tent with my aunt after checking my parents and rested on my place ,I was not completely satisfied because I didn't talk to my parents ,but seeing them feeling better gives me enough of relief , well I guess not every day is a bright day like I thought .

I woke up the next morning and went to the healing center to check on mom and dad , " hi there ! I made you breakfast " I smiled "honey you shouldn't have " mom smiled back .

We sat together and ate breakfast ,I was glad that they are okay " so dad , who attacked you on your way ? " I asked " they were group of soldiers from Desertavia village " dad said as he bites his food .

" Desertavia ? " I paused " 😐 " dad paused too " what's Desertavia ? " I asked " its ....." dad turned his face to mom as if he said his last word in accident , " it's time we tell her " Mom nodded " tell me what ? " I stared in confusen .
