The Three

Silaerial - She is the only blue dragon alpha in existence. The dragons determine which of them are alphas, betas, and ordinary dragons by physical characteristics. The dragons are large flying creatures with strong, hollow bones and strong scales. Each different colour of dragon has access to a different element of magic. A Beta dragon has a small ruff on the lower jaw. If there is no Alpha in a flight, this ruff will grow larger so they can assume this role. An Alpha dragon has a large ruff, like a frillneck lizard, which is marked with patterns. These patterns are echoed on their wings, and are unique symbols of dominance. The patterns are only present in born Alphas.

The elements are as follows-

Red = Fire

Orange = Earth

Pink = Lightning

Yellow = Air

Green = Water

Blue = Time

Black = Death

White = Healing

Purple = Curse

There are also special colours that indicate a combination of elements. These include Gold, Silver and Pearlescent.

Dragons are natural masters of magic, and use a Runic system to inscribe enchantments.

Echidna - the rose gold serpent queen. Serpents are cousins of dragons, but they have some very extreme differences. Serpents are long and slender creatures like snakes that have two short limbs that act as both claws and flippers. They live in schools, and migrate through the ocean. They are covered in thick scales, which they shed every decade. Female serpents lay their eggs once every hundred years. They make their nests on sandy beaches far from the dangers of the ocean. The females guard their eggs until they hatch, at which point the offspring is abandoned. The only magic they can use is weather or water magic, with varying competency. A Serpent will grow spines around their heads and neck to show their strength and dominance towards competitors. Higher numbers of spines are seen as a desirable trait in breeding partners.
