Chapter Six

The 30 million contract also included Raymond goin to the hosts organization for some business. Raymond was not satisfied going there because of Alice,the daughter of the host but has no choice if he still needs the contract.

When Raymond got to the organization,he had to wait because the host went on a mission. To his annoyance,Alice came to him"hello baby,how do you do, congratulations concern the contract you won"

"Thanks" was Raymond's reply. Alice knew Raymond was not glad to see her but she will not give up. She started frustrating him by asking him silly questions about how his business was going.

Raymond sighed in relief when he was ushered into the hosts office who as back. He feigned annoyance and was pacified by the host. After he was welcomed once again,he was served food to eat with the hist. Raymond could not wait to know the reason he was been called. The gist began: " Mr Raymond congratulations again for this big feat won"

"It's my pleasure sir," Raymond said.

"The reason why I called you to my office today is to ask you some questions and to let you know my intention"

"And what is that?"

"It came to my notice that you are not engaged and I would like you to be engaged with my daughter Alice"

Raymond looked at him stunned and after some while,he replied

"Am sorry sir,I'm engaged".

"Wow,but you never told me that and you do not behave like someone who is engaged"

"Yes sir"

"Ok you know what,I would like to meet her"

Raymond widened his eyes and said "who?"
