245 Unjustified Treatment?

"Chloe, what's holding you up back there?"

"Nothing My Lady!" Chloe increased her pace to catch up with Olga, but not before leaving a snide remark, "You are lucky."

But he didn't let it get to him, because his time will come at the end and then he will have his revenge.

'I'll start with this arrogant bitch after I build my forces again.' Vult didn't show his nefarious thoughts and followed the two. He was confident in his abilities, and it was only natural as they had helped him all his life.

Soon they arrived at the nearby base of the Monster Army, and this is where Vult started to get more confident. He was more powerful and skilled than most of these nobodies who had the intelligence of donkeys, so his high position would be coming in due time.

"My Queen if you would leave it to me I would extract information from this bitch. As a Princess Knight, I am sure she knows a lot about what their moves are." So, he wasted no time in boot-licking Olga, but he really did intend to extract info from Maia.

He wanted to know why he was framed, or more like he wanted to vent his frustrations on her for making him suffer for so long. And to do that he would need to be alone in a room with her, grinning inside he started to think of ways to do that.

"An interesting proposal…" And it appeared that Olga was considering it.

Rumble*

That was until Vult's stomach roared.

"I apologize for that…" He had been on an empty stomach for a few days, and now that his body relaxed the hunger struck him like a hammer.

"This unsightly behavior…" Chloe was fuming but he chose to not focus on her, as his target seemed amused by his lack of shame.

"Follow me. We can continue this while eating." Olga turned around with an ambiguous smile that he missed.

"What? My lady?!" Chloe couldn't understand why this man would get such treatment when he had just arrived.

Meanwhile, Vult was grinning ear to ear, it appeared that the Dark Queen could tell that he had promise as a servant, but he was not planning on staying that way for long.

Soon a feast was prepared in Olga's tent, and Vult did not hold back on eating, he tore into the big honey-roasted boar like a ravenous wolf. And it wasn't his fault as the taste was simply too good to resist, especially after starving for a few days.

"You sure can eat a lot." Olga sat elegantly while cutting the steak in front of her, she had only taken a few bites as this guy had finished the entire boar and could still eat more.

But instead of answering Vult kept on eating, his hunger was somehow enormous and he always had trouble containing it. That was the biggest problem he had since early childhood, when he was hungry his brain wouldn't work as sharply as when he was well-fed.

'Why did she bring me here alone? Isn't this treatment way too good?' And not that he had food in his system, things started to look odd. Everything was too convenient for him, to run away from the Seven Shields for that long, for Olga to appear and take him in.

And this… it was just too good to be true. It was the correct line of thought, just a bit too late.

'My body… I feel sleepy…' The dizziness suddenly struck him, as tiredness bore down on his body.

The last thing he saw before passing out was the smile on Olga's face, it was an expression similar to a hunter who had caught his prey.

"Sh..it…" With those words, his head struck the table. Olga stared at him and wiped her mouth with a silk cloth. The main course was finished, but the dessert was yet to be served.

.

.

"Ugh…" When Vult opened his eyes again, his vision was blurred. And when he tried to move, his body wouldn't budge an inch.

"Finally you are awake." A similar soft voice came into his ears, but it felt like he was hearing them through water, but the sluggishness soon faded away and his vision became clear.

"You…!" He gritted his teeth as Olga flashed him a small smile sitting on a chair of her own, and if that wasn't enough Maia was standing next to her like was the most normal thing to do.

He wanted to rush up and rip the two to shreds but he couldn't move, being tied to an iron chair with chains limited his movements as the two who trapped him were free to move.

"Don't bother. Your strength has been sealed by that artifact around your neck. Right now you are nothing but a normal human." Olga said. Vult felt the iron collar tightly wrapped around his neck. There was no way out of here, but the most confusing thing for him was…

"You pulled all of the stops to get him." Maia's eyes narrowed on Olga, they had promised to work together and help each other with the plans before the War started.

That is how they got rid of the Traitorous humans in the empire and allowed Olga—who has been out of action for a while—to reaffirm her position as the Dark Queen in the eyes of the Monsters and Dark elves that followed her.

"I was only returning the favor to Celestine. I never said that I would go along with all of your plans, did I?" Olga was done repaying the debt to Celestine.

That man said that she made a contract that allowed her to get a second chance, which is why she agreed to help when Celestine and Kaguya approached her with the plans.

'In a way, I initiated contact with them, but it was all needed to make sure I get my hands on this swine.' Olga had her plans that she did not let them know of, she was also able to wipe out the ones who rebelled against her while getting her hands on Vult.

Now only the extreme loyalists remained in her forces and she could return the favor to this bastard, but there was something that took even her by surprise, and that was Maia.

"But I did not expect you would act along with my façade." Her yellow eyes tried to find a hint of what Maia wanted from this, if she wanted to Olga would have no way of getting her way.

She had prepared that performance well using many artifacts to handle Vult, and even giving everyone a fake sense of oppression during the battle before. In the future, she had been too careless which ended up with her getting humiliated, but now armed with future information she had ways of dealing with Vult and the Seven Shields even without her sorcery.

"I simply wanted to see him suffer," But the answer she got from Maia wasn't something she expected.

"That's interesting." Olga could see the coldness in Maia's eyes, it was something similar to her feelings for this man. A hatred so pure that it was hidden behind the veil of calmness.

"Lady Celestine and Lady Kaguya are too adamant on finishing this… It is like they have forgotten what this man has done." Vult was confused, he hadn't done anything. So, what was Maia talking about? What was this bullshit about?

"That was in the future so nothing has happened to us now. That's why I understand their thoughts of not taking chances with him." Olga shook her head, true to his words that the man returned her dignity to her thanks to Celestine.

That dream did not have any effect on her body, just that it was tough to watch herself in that situation, but it was important to know her mistakes so she wouldn't make them again.

"If that is what you think, why did you go through so much trouble just to get a chance at torturing him?"

...

Good luck on the ps goal. See you next week.
