This World Is...

***

In the building not too far from him, Robin who was having her drink looked out of her office window once again.

"What happened Miss?" The man in front of her asked since she seemed to be out of it today, Normally she would get straight to the point but in the past hour, she had been constantly out of focus.

'It is weird,' Robin thought as she looked down at her cup to see her face reflected in it, 'Since morning I feel weird,' this is why she wasn't able to keep her mind on something.

"…Nothing," But in the end Robin shook her head since there was something more important to do, today was the day of the monthly report.

"Did you find something?" Robin asked the man in front of her and he shook his head helplessly.

"We haven't been able to find any news, not even a single clue," The man was of course not happy with it because he had been working on this for years now.

This made him even question whether what he was searching for was real or not because of how illogical it seemed, that is why he planned to ask about it today.

"Miss, are you sure tha-" But he shut up because of the look he got from Robin.

"Keep searching and don't let up any efforts," Robin said calmly and she didn't wish to continue this topic since it was a waste of time, "If you need more funds feel free to ask." The man nodded before heading out of the room.

"So, we have to continue the search?" One of his subordinates asked as soon he came out and the man nodded with a sigh.

"Sigh* Why is she so obsessed with this person?" Even the subordinate shook his head annoyed.

"That isn't the main problem," The first guy said with a groan.

"Yeah, I get you it is like he doesn't even exist," The subordinate groaned even louder, "How can he leave no traces behind like this? It is almost absurd," They had been trying to search for this person of Robin's orders for a few years but they have only came up with a blank so far.

"It is almost like he doesn't exist and is just a ghost," The Subordinate complained further out of frustration but…

"No he certainly exists," The boss looked at the wanted poster, "Otherwise there wouldn't be such a bounty on his head." It had the picture of a man with white hair with a cold look that could send chills down one's spine.

"To think he is worth 2.5 billion berries and yet they don't even know his name," The subordinate said in exasperation but considering the news spread by the world government, this bounty wasn't just for show.

"The fact that even the World Government doesn't know his name shows how hard it is to get information about him," The Boss shook his head in dismay because, "Considering what he had done it is even more outrageous that there are no records of him."

"The Destroyer of Ohara, A merciless killer that didn't even spare little children and slaughtered everyone on a whim, that's what he is known as in the world," The subordinate muttered before asking a question, "But it makes me wonder why Miss Robin is after him?" and the boss shook his head at this.

"It isn't just her, pretty much all of the forces around the world are looking for him," The boss massaged his temple, "But no one has been able to get anything on him for over 10 years now, it is like he just upped and vanished into thin air," He had also been searching for this guy for close to 5 years now and he had turned the four seas upside down but still got nothing to show for it.

"Boss!!" But suddenly his subordinate called out to him.

"What happened?" The boss looked back wondering if this guy got something and…

"Someone stole my wallet and the wanted poster as well," His subordinate cried making the boss blink.

"How did that happen?" The boss was of course shocked by this since this subordinate of his was a famous thief, "Weren't you looking at the Poster?!!" That is why this seemed even weirder.

So, how did this happen?

"I don't know I just closed my eyes for a second and then it was gone," The subordinate's voice gathered attention as they were currently walking in the middle of the street but he didn't care because, "Then I checked my pocket and even my money was gone!!"

"Sigh* just one trouble after another," The guy shook his head but he also had questions, a lot of them.

'Why would someone take the wanted poster?' But there was no way he would know that now since the one who stole it was nowhere to be found.

'Hhhmmmmm…..' Adam was looking at his wanted poster with extreme focus, the reason for this was that he found this poster to be quite similar to something he had seen before.

It has been on his mind since he saw the current Robin. After frowning a little after going through all of the information he had, Adam reached a conclusion.

"They don't even know how to use good photos, I look so bad in this one," Adam was disappointed in the photo that was used for the wanted poster….

He was mulling over the wrong thing but….

"It is weird, Robin, world government, Marines, Ohara, the fish-like creature that I killed by accident, and now this bounty poster," Adam muttered all of the information once again, and he could draw a picture in his head, he certainly wasn't able to get the idea of it before, but now….

"Yeah, it is almost certain, This world is that one, isn't it?" Adam muttered after seeing the wanted posters of certain people at a Marine branch.

Edward Newgate, Charlotte Linlin, Kaido, and Shanks, just these names were enough for him to come to the conclusion.

"It is indeed the world of One Piece," Adam had finally confirmed it now that he had enough clues.

He didn't think about it that deeply before since he was more focused on Robin, and since she was a kid along with him barely caring for anything else, he basically ignored everything else.

But now that he saw it, things clicked in an instant with what vague memory he had of before.

"Well, whatever," And even now Adam couldn't care less about what world this was, he didn't care about it and he never did, Some people may become confused if the inhabitants of these worlds were real or not since they had read of them in fiction.

It was a common troupe for characters who got transferred into a game or a similar world, but to Adam, this wasn't even a thought.

'They are real, every one of them,' Adam had felt that response from every person he had met till now after taking over the shop.

Every single one of them was a living being with a mind of their own. They weren't moving on anyone's order or anything, it was something he discussed with the Administrator of Ai's World as well.

There was no telling how the world was created and what came first.

"For all we know we might also be words and pictures, huh," Adam muttered her words, which sounded quite surreal in a way because he had seen it with his eyes.

He was walking in a world that he had looked at from the other side of the screen at this very moment, so it could be true.

"There is no point in thinking about that," Adam shook his head as the sun was setting, he just smiled and went back to Elgia as it was time for dinner.

Adam entered Gordon's house and went straight to the dining room, he saw a grumpy-looking Uta and a sweating Gordon.

"Adam!" Gordon looked like he found light after being in the dark for ages, it may sound like an exaggeration but…

'Uta has never been like this, I was scared that she would have to go hungry' Gordon was really going through a lot but still, Uta's well-being came first, 'But I couldn't make food after what happened in the afternoon.' And he wanted her to have her fill.

Because before this Uta was just eating like it was some sort of formality, but it was different now since...

"Oh, you guys are already in the room, you must be quite eager to eat, huh?" Adam smiled slightly looking at Uta who was side-eyeing him.

"Who wants your food?" And of course, she wasn't happy with his teasing but…

Grumble~~~

"Your stomach is telling a different story,"
