94 Different Thoughts...

???, Yomi-no-Kuni.

The place no human dared to tread upon, not to mention many gods didn't want to come near this place.

The reason for that was clear, this was the land of the dead in the Shinto mythology, a land where nothing else exists aside from death.

But within this place, there was a deity who watched over this place and all of the creatures that resided within here.

'Hmm?' Izanami-no-Mikoto, the grand deity of Yomi was having tea in her palace when she suddenly looked up.

It was like she felt something leaving her land but had no idea what it was, but it didn't take a lot of thought to know what it was since there was only one thing in her realm.

"This is a strange feeling," Izanami couldn't understand it as this thought did seem ridiculous, nothing can leave Yomi once it enters and it applied to her as well but her case was different along with the other gods. And it wasn't like someone can just enter this place without her knowing.

But here she was feeling like someone just did that, and because of that she was curious… no it can be said that…

'Interesting' Izanami's brown eyes shined while a smile graced her red lips, she placed the empty tea cup on the table and stood up, it may even not be true but if it ends up being true then…

"I need to look into this,"

And while she was searching for the person behind this strange incident, the person who was responsible for this was at this moment…

"Akeno…-Chan?" Shuri had just woken up and her eyes directly went towards Akeno who was looking at her expectantly.

"Yes, it's me, Mother, I have grown, haven't I?" Akeno smiled as she looked at her mother with a smile, but even then the tears were gathering in her eyes again.

"Yes, my little girl has grown so much, I am so proud of you," Shuri sat up with a gentle smile and Akeno rushed in hugging her.

"There there, I guess some things don't change," Shuri smiled as she patted Akeno's head while the latter hugged her.

"I've …missed you mother," Akeno said and…

"Me too Akeno-chan… I am sorry for not being able to be there with you," Shuri said while Akeno's back with a gentle smile as the latter cried silently.

'I didn't know that she could act like a little girl,' Adam was used to seeing Akeno being a total devil with him since she didn't pass on any opportunity to tease him and be seductive, but now he saw a new side of her…. once again, 'Now isn't the time to be thinking about that, focus!'

And as Adam was lost in these thoughts...

"Thank you for taking care of my daughter," Shuri spoke to him and he shook his head.

"I didn't really do anything," Adam said this since Rias had actually helped Akeno a lot more than him.

'Rias, huh.' As Adam was thinking that Akeno stopped hugging Shuri as she seemed to have had enough right now.

"Mother I'll get you some clothes," Akeno stood up since she had noticed that Shuri was naked under the white cloth that was wrapped around her.

"I see, I was wondering why this gentleman was facing away, Ufufu," Shuri laughed as Adam was currently sitting with his back towards them, he was about to leave before to give the reunited pair some space but Shuri spoke to him so he just sat there for a bit longer.

"I'll wait outside," Now seemed like the perfect chance so Adam dashed out of the room under the eyes of the two women who had almost similar facial features along with the same look on their faces.

'Too bad he ran out,' Both of them had the same thought about the matter as they had an identical smile on their lips, they were truly mother and daughter in every sense.

'Good thing I came out,' Adam felt like he dodged a bullet by coming out but he didn't really think too much about it and started to look around the garden as a squirrel came over sitting on his shoulder.

"What's up, little guy?" Adam said as the squirrel cried out.

"Well, deforestation is pretty bad, it must be tough looking for a new home for you," Adam nodded as he gave the squirrel a few acorns and it ran off happily after taking as many as it could.

"Adam, were you waiting for long?" Adam turned around and saw Akeno walking over with a smile.

"Not at all, I had company," Adam said as Akeno shook her head.

'He says that even when it has been like an hour, I didn't even think he would still be here, and what company was he talking about? No, I shouldn't focus on that,' Akeno shook her head and….

"Aren't you going to meet her?" Akeno asked and without even needing to hear him she could understand what he was about to say.

"I am fine now, so you don't have to worry about me," Akeno said with a smile.

"Are you sure?" Adam asked just in case and Akeno nodded.

"Although your current actions are making me want to take you to my room, but there are important things to do, Do you understand how hard it is for me to hold back even then I am doing so?" Akeno spoke as she hugged Adam's neck while licking her lips.

"Hmm, you really say some of the weirdest things," Adam smiled as Akeno gave him a chaste kiss on his lips.

"Ufufu, to think that I would kiss you goodbye as you are on your way to meet someone else…. it seems like you have awakened me to a new fetish, you really are just the perfect one for me," Akeno smiled weirdly as Adam sighed.

"Don't look like that, I just want you and Rias to be happy while I can find my happiness as well," Akeno softly caressed Adam's face as he looked at her.

"Really Akeno, Thank you," Adam said hugging her waist as Akeno blushed.

"Just come back to me, I'll keep the bed warm for you~," Akeno said as she kissed Adam again but a bit more strongly this time.

"Alright then I'll be back soon," Adam smiled hearing what Akeno said, he can't really appear any more pathetic after she had done so much. Even though he could just shake his head at her being lewd again, but…

'That's just how she is,' So, he left and Akeno stood there after he vanished, the reason for that was…

'Did he really just say that? Even when I said him not to do that,' The blush on Akeno's face got deeper as she stood there in place.

She didn't know if Adam knew what he said to her implied but it was too late…

'I love you too, Adam~, I hope what I did helps you, Ufufu, I'll have you properly reward me when you come back~,' Akeno was already on cloud 9 at this moment, she was lost enough to forget about her mother who was watching from the window on the second floor.

"Oh My, it looks like my little Akeno-chan really did grow up," Shuri laughed seeing herself in Akeno when she fell in love with her husband.

The scene looked almost identical with some differences…

'Well as long as Akeno-chan is happy, and Adam looks like a good man for her, he seems to care for her deeply,' Shuri smiled gently replaying the memories in her head from the moment she was brought back to life.

Her body may have not been ready to move yet but her mind was awake and she was able to hear the talks between them. And that helped her form an opinion on Adam and she was also able to gauge out a few more things.

But at this moment there was a big question on her mind.

'Where are you, Barakiel?' Shuri thought looking outside the window hoping to see her husband soon.

Meanwhile...
