70 Can I Destroy It?

"My Mom… Saul… hick, They… T-They…" Robin was unable to continue as tears streamed down her face, she clenched her little fists as hard as she could.

Robin wanted to cry, but she had trouble holding it in since no matter how mature she appeared, she was still an 8-year-old kid that had lost her mother who she just met again.

Everything she ever wanted was burned down right in front of her eyes and it was too much for her to endure, but even then she was trying…

'I…need to get an answer, They told me to be strong, to be strong till I can find dependable friends,' Robin shut her eyes to stop the tear and tried to shake her head but a big warm hand landed on her hair.

"It is alright, you don't need to hold it in," Adam's gentle voice reached her ears as her eyes shot wide open.

"You can cry, don't worry it'll be between us," Adam gently rubbed her head as Robin's little shoulders trembled before.

"Uwwaaaa! Uwaaaaaa! Mom! Mooooomm!" She started to cry uncontrollably.

"It is alright, No one will hurt you," Adam tried his best to console the sobbing Robin while hugging her.

But she kept on crying harder grabbing onto his shirt, her tears and snot stained his shirt but he didn't really care.

He allowed Robin to cry her heart out, she let out all of the emotions that she had been suppressing from the time her mother left for the sea, she did that in order to not become a nuisance to her aunt who hated when she cried.

But not today, now she was able to let out all of the tears she had been holding in, she did that till she was exhausted and fell asleep.

"Rest here for a bit, I'll be just back," Adam whispered softly as he placed Robin on the bed in his room covering her tiny body with a blanket after he cleaned all of the snot and tears on her face.

He also cast a spell to make sure she had no nightmares and walked out of the room.

Adam didn't even care to change his clothes or clean them, he opened the front door and walked under the starry night, his destination was set.

"Oh! You came!! Hihi! Want a drumstick?" The person who appeared in front of Adam was a guy a little short than him with flaming golden hair and a wide smile that would make anyone smile back.

All in all, he looked like a jolly guy, Adam would've liked to talk with him over some food and tea but…

"I am here to ask something," Adam said and a look of realization dawned on the guy like he was clueless about it before, but in reality, he just forgot about it.

"Hihi, Has the girl already struck a deal with you?" The man laughed weirdly, but Adam didn't look like he cared for much.

"Can I destroy it?" Adam asked and the man tilted his head.

"What?" The man could already feel that this wasn't going to be good, and his hunch was correct.

"The organization called The World Goverment in your world, Can I destroy it?" Adam's flat tone and dark eyes made it very clear that he wasn't joking, he really intended to wipe out the entire organization.

'Those are some dangerous eyes,' The administrator was looking at Adam who was waiting for his answer.

"Do you know what that organization does for that world?" The Administrator asked with the same smile.

"I don't know and I don't care, an organization that would do such a thing to a kid of that age surely isn't doing anything worthwhile," Adam was in no mood for an exposition lecture here, he had made up his mind.

"You really are hard-headed like 'she' said, Hihihi, come on sit down," The Administrator laughed as he patted the ground beside him after sitting down.

"Just tell me if I can do that or not?" Adam asked and the Administrator shook his head.

"If you do that far more kids are going to suffer, the organization may have some, No a lot of rotten apples but there are many of them who just want to help the people, if you wipe them out the pirates will have no one to stop them, and they'll pillage, destroy and rape their way through the lands, It would be a world filled with pain and sadness, What do you think? Doesn't sound great, does it? Hihihihi!" The Man laughed as he saw Adam sigh slightly.

'He isn't lying at least,' Adam didn't know anything about Robin's world, but even then he was very angry with what the World Government has done to her.

So, that anger manifested through his mouth in the purest form, he just wanted to eradicate the entire organization, no he still wanted to do it.

But it seemed that things were a lot more complicated than it appeared.

The administrator of Robin's world explained to him the power balance between the different forces in their world.

'I see, to stop the pirates from rampaging, the World Government is necessary,' Adam clicked his tongue but he understood, but it wasn't that all the pirates were bad and liked to pillage while destroying people's lives.

It was the same case with the World Government, not every one of them was rotten.

'But it seems the top order is completely rotten,' Adam thought as he tapped his finger on his thigh.

'His eyes went back to normal,' The Administrator grinned looking at Adam's eyes, a few seconds ago they were totally different….

"Hihihi! It seems like you really a liking to the little girl," The administrator laughed and…

"I kind of… want to have a daughter myself, so I lost my cool a bit for a second there," Adam admitted with a smile, the thought of his own daughter crying flashed through his mind and he was just ready to bust up everything.

'The day I may have one is too far away though even then this is unacceptable,' Adam sighed but it wasn't that he had no chance, surely one day his wish will come true.

"Hihihi! You are such a funny guy, here have another drumstick," The administrator just laughed loudly.

"So, to what extent can I go for this request?" Adam asked and the administrator thought for a bit before answering.

"You can do anything besides killing the Marines, the ones who are present there are people with important fates on their shoulders, if they are missing the timeline of that world will become unstable," The administrator said and he could see the sour look on Adam's face. It looked like Adam at least wanted to kill the ones who burned down Robin's home.

'But that might be counterproductive, not only would it weaken the Marines and give the pirates more of an advantage, it will also draw the Marine's attention to Ohara,' Adam could see the problem in a way but he still wanted to do it. Leaving that aside he had other ways but…

"Another thing, do not force others to do what you want, they have the freedom to do what they want with their life," The administrator said looking at Adam, he could easily read what the latter was thinking and…

"What would happen if I did that?" Adam had no plans on hiding it.

"Hihihi! That is simple, you will have to face me," He grinned while his golden hair flared.

"I see," Adam said flatly.

'He isn't scared of me at all,' The administrator shook his head with a smile, but he could understand why that was the reason.

"I'll go back and check on Robin," Adam said as he stood up.

"Sure, also bring some meat when you come back, I heard your food is the best, Hihihi!" The administrator laughed heartily as Adam nodded and went back to the shop.

'She must've been really exhausted,' Adam looked at Robin who was still asleep, she seemed at ease so his spell must've worked.

She had just witnessed really bad things that might scar her for life which is why Adam went through the trouble of putting a spell that will fervent her from having nightmares related to today.

'I'll just sit down in the meantime,' Adam sat down on the study table nearby and started to read books and electronics once again.

He has been doing it for a while now to understand the electronics he bought from Ai's world, this was in order to remake them so that they could run on Mana.

'I think I'll be able to make the generator after a few more tries,' Adam thought after a few hours of reading.

He was close to making a generator that will run on Mana instead of burnable fuel.

"Umm," But Adam quickly looked back and saw Robin opening her eyes.
