"Adam-san do you think it is possible to absorb an enemy's spell from the process you talked about?"

"Yeah that is possible but you won't be able to do that unless you train for a long time," Adam said and a mischievous smile appeared on Akeno's lips.

"That means that you can do it, Adam-san?" She asked preparing a trap.

"Yep I can," Adam nodded and Akeno smiled even more as she moved her hands behind her back.

"Then Adam-san do you think you can absorb this spell," Akeno formed a magic circle and threw a lightning bolt at Adam from point-blank range.

She was sure that Adam will not be able to absorb it if she does it like this.

'I just want to see him fail,' Akeno wondered what type of face Adam would make when he fails to do something he said he could.

The spell might not do any damage to him but it will do a number on him in many ways.

Well, that was what she thought would happen but…

"Nice try," Adam smiled as Akeno was wide-eyed.

'The spell was broken down in magic power as soon as I lost control over the spell, no he took over the spell,' Akeno felt a different magic power wrapping around the spell breaking her control over it and then breaking down the spell like it was nothing.

"…" Akeno didn't know what to say, she didn't even feel him use an absurd amount of magic power as a show of force, she clearly felt Adam's magic power wrap around her spell since she trained with the magic control device she was able to distinguish the magic signature, and Adam only used 10% of what she used to form the spell.

And using that he broke down her spell and now had extra magic power in his hand which he used to make a fireball and shoot nearby making a small explosion, he won without any doubts.

"Anyway, get on with the training…" Adam said as he walked past Akeno while she was still stunned.

But she was soon brought out of that state by Adam because.

"Hyaaan!" Akeno yelped as she felt something hit on her ass making it sting, It was so sudden that she didn't even know what happened till she was already been struck.

"You don't have time to be daydreaming now," Akeno covered her ass and turned to look at the culprit.

Adam was waving his hand at her like he was letting her know something while he walked out of the barrier.

Akeno's legs trembled as she fell down on the ground, even though Adam had told her that there wasn't enough time.

On the other hand, Adam walked out of the barrier and saw Rias.

'She didn't find out what I did to her queen, did she?' Adam thought as he coughed, but from the looks of it Rias looked pissed at the Device and not him, 'But what if Akeno tells her? I shouldn't have done that, but I think she deserved that for trying to test me.'

Adam knew very well that if a man tried to test him that way, the guy would be lucky to die, but he let off Akeno with a slap on the wrist…

'Or a Slap on the butt?' Anyway leaving that aside the training continued for the day as they stopped for breakfast after an hour.

'She didn't say anything,' Adam has been keeping an eye to see if Akeno talks to Rias about what he did, so far she did not but, 'Why is she looking at me with that weird look though?'

Adam was more confused with the way things were right now. But since he didn't understand it, he just left it behind.

'The future me will deal with it,' Adam shrugged and started to overlook the training of others.

And the day came to an end with Rias still being unable to reach level 10. She was pissed since it was getting harder to concentrate since she didn't get proper sleep.

So, after a warm bath and scrumptious dinner, she went to her room to sleep, and then the next morning came.

"President you look worse today," Akeno was worried about Rias as they were doing their daily physical training.

"…I am fine," Rias said but the dark circles under her eyes said a different story.

'Is Rias worried about the rating game?' Akeno thought while observing how sluggishly Rias was moving around.

Akeno thought that it might be possible, after all, Rias was just this way, she may be careless often times but when she focuses on something she tends to think too deeply about it.

'What is happening?' Rias thought as the day ended, today as well, she wasn't able to reach level 10.

'Why can't I get any sleep?' Rias thought lying down on her bed completely naked while she covered herself in a lot of blankets, but she was still unable to sleep after a full hour.

"What is going on? No, I know…" Rias was fed up with this so she stood up from the bed and walked out of her room, her feet moved on their own to a certain room.

Currently, everyone was asleep since they were exhausted but she knew that the person behind this door was awake.

Rias was about to knock on the door but the door was opened and…

"What happened Rias? …Why are you naked?" Adam opened the door while looking away as he wrapped a bedsheet around Rias, it was like he knew that she was naked and prepared in advance.

"I can't sleep," Rias found his actions quite cute but she still needed to say her problem.

"You want me to cast a sleeping spell on you?" Adam asked and Rias blinked.

'There is no way he doesn't understand what I want,' Rias thought while looking at Adam's face, and she could see what he was thinking.

'Why are you naked at my door when you can't sleep?' Adam was in a pickle here, he had no idea what to make of this situation, 'Could it be that!!'

Adam's eyes widened as Rias closed the door behind her and walked over to him throwing the bedsheet on the carpet.

"I want to sleep with you," Rias said while hugging Adam.

'Yes, this is it,' Rias smiled

"What?" Adam was shocked but Rias continued.

"It is your fault that I can't sleep so take responsibility~," Rias said and Adam's heartbeat quickened.

"…She fell asleep," Adam blinked with a blank look.

'I shouldn't have dreamed too much,' So, without much of a thought Adam laid down Rias on the bed and…

Adam wasn't sleepy and nor did he need sleep but he too fell asleep.

The next morning at 5 A.M.

"-as wake up," Rias heard a soft voice in her ears but…

'I don't want to,' Rias felt the warmth she was searching for in the past two days and she didn't want to leave it.

"Rias," The familiar voice called out but Rias just snuggled closer to the warmth wrapping her arms and legs around it.
