'To believe in something other than money is stupid,' Mei Mei didn't see why Adam can't see her point because if he did he wouldn't be the way he was, wallowing in alcohol while worrying about the problem he had instead of doing something about it.

But there was something more important that needed to be addressed according to Mei Mei.

So, there was no problem about not getting her money, and to prove that it wasn't fake she had him pay for their expenses at the restaurant and even this Suite was booked by him as she checked the balance to see if it was properly deducted or not in order to catch any chance of this being a fraud.

'I never leave my money behind,' Mei Mei wasn't even scared about the fact that she might not get her money, in the end, she had her ways of getting the money promised to her, she even made a binding vow with him just to be extra sure.

"Of course, I need to keep track of it, who knows whether you refute it in the end or reduce the count, so this is the 6th now," Mei Mei smiled as she looked at Adam, in reality, she could've just counted in her mind but she was doing it out loud in order to spite him.

She wanted him to feel as uncomfortable as possible, but it wasn't to stop what was happening it was quite the opposite.
