22 Arcade

And after Ai seemingly had enough of the ice cream Adam took the opportunity to talk about what they will be doing now.

"So, now we will be going back to your world,"

"Mister will be coming with me?" Ai asked and Adam nodded.

"Yeah, I will deal with your ex today," Adam stood up and offered his hand to Ai.

"That quick?" Ai grabbed his hand and stood up while asking.

"Isn't that what you want?" Adam tilted his head and Ai blinked her big eyes before nodding.

The faster Adam deals with Hikaru the better for her.

"Also where did you use the card from?" Adam asked and Ai answered.

"I used it when nobody was at home,"

"I see, then let's go," Ai nodded at Adam's words and the two exited through the front door of the shop.

'I am getting excited!' This was the first time in a while that Adam was leaving the shop so it was obvious that would be stoked.

And as soon the two blinked they were…

'So, this is Ai's room, huh,' Adam looked around the light-colored room that wasn't very extravagant in terms of decorations but Adam knew instantly that it belonged to Ai.

The reason for that was…

'Her children are blessed with her looks,' Adam looked at the framed photos of two kids along with Ai.

From the shine in her eyes in those pictures, it was clear that they were Ai's kids and…

"They are the cutest, aren't they?" Adam smiled looking at Ai's proud face.

"Yep, they really take after you," Adam said and she looked even more proud.

"So, I'll be leaving," Adam said and went towards the door.

"Mister," Ai called out and Adam looked back, then a look of realization donned on his face.

"I'll leave a note at the door after I am done, and no one aside from you will be able to see it so no worries," Adam said since he knew how serious Ai was about this.

He would let her know that he completed the job so she can rest easily.

'Yeah, that is how it should be,' Ai knew that this was once again just a contract and she didn't want to trouble Adam, 'but…'

"…ll m. .ha. yo..se.." Ai mumbled as she nearly couldn't get the words out of her mouth.

"What?" Adam blinked in confusion making Ai bite her lip.

'If I don't say it now, I feel like I'll never see him again,' Ai got that feeling in her gut, that's why….

"Come back here and tell me that you've …completed the job," Ai said looking at Adam, she was able to get those words out.

"Wait, you don't mean…" Adam's eyes widened as he saw Ai's small nod.

"I see, I'll be here before dinner," Adam smiled slightly as he opened the door and walked out.

Seeing the door close Ai's covered her face and squatted down in the hallway.

"I want to bury myself somewhere," She mumbled as her face was covered in a red blush because she basically invited Adam over to stay the night at her place.

Outside,

As soon as Adam closed the door a woman was walking in his direction, it looked like she was coming towards him but…

'It is good I kept this title,' Adam thought as the woman walked past him like she didn't even see him.

And that was indeed the case, this was because of Adam's title as 'God of Assassination'

Right now he was fully invisible to everyone as he walked past many people in this apartment complex and even strolled out of the front gate where the security guards were around.

There were a few rules that Adam had to follow when he visited a world, one of them was to limit his power and pick out a few godhood titles to use in the world while the others would be sealed, since if he equips them all the world will most likely collapse or he'll be kicked out by the administrator for causing a disruption.

'Ok, this place should be good enough,' Adam was in a remote and empty alleyway where he chose to undo his invisibility.

He didn't need to go and find Ai's ex since the administrator of this world had already given him the location and he just needed to go there to catch the guy.

But there was still a lot of time before this guy came back home so…

"Shall we look around for some Wo-Ahem* fun in Tokyo," Adam quickly re-centered his mind, it has been over 8000 years since he got a chance to spend some time looking around a city.

'Should I go and see a movie? Or go eat some street food? No, maybe I should check out some manga?' There were too many thoughts in Adam's mind as he came out of the main street and started walking.

Adam got a good amount of gazes while walking down the street from both Men and Women because of his physique, but he was too busy looking around to see what he should do first.

"Oh! An arcade!" Adam got excited as he spotted the arcade from across the street.

His sudden voice surprised a woman nearby but she didn't say anything after seeing him, even then Adam was too occupied with the street and immediately crossed it.

"Ah, the nostalgia!" Adam used to play in the arcade when he was a little kid after gathering his pocket money for the whole week.

'I don't remember much of those days but it still feels so warm,' Adam smiled slightly but then he suddenly felt someone tug his pant.

'Oh, a kid,' Adam looked at a 10-year-old boy with black hair that was grabbing his pant.

'Did he get lost? Then why did he come to me? Do I look reliable? Hm, the aura just leaks out, doesn't it?' Adam was very content with himself that is until he heard the boy speak.

"Don't worry Nana-chan I've got the scary guy, he won't hurt you!" Adam froze in place as his head turned stiffly to look at the boy.

'Do I look scary?' Adam's face twitched.

"K-Kou-kun run away!" Then he heard a soft voice from nearby and when he turned his head he found a small girl that looked about the boy's age, she looked really scared and shivered even more when she saw Adam look over.

"Stop scaring Nana-chan," The boy named Kou seemed angry after seeing Nana being so scared.

"I am not really trying to, you know?" Adam's face twitched but...

"At this rate, you'll mess up my date," His face twitched even more.

"D-Date?"

"Yes," The boy nodded.

'You're 10 years old, go roll in the damn mud, what do you mean date? I am 8000 years old and even I haven't been on a date!!' Adam shouted in his head but…

"Hey, Kou act like you are pulling me down, Okay?" Adam whispered slowly and Kou nodded since he understood what was going on and tugged at Adam's pants with all of the strength he had.

Normally this wouldn't do much to a normal adult much less someone like Adam but.

"Argh! I have been defeated," Adam fell down to his knees next to Kou and acted like he was beaten.

"See nana-chan I defeated the scary guy, no need to fear him," Kou said while trying to look strong and walked towards Nana who didn't seem that scared anymore, she looked more worried about Adam seeing him fall down but couldn't approach him since he looked scary to her.

Then the two walked into the arcade while Adam was outside looking at them.

'Kou when you grow up, make sure to tell your kids about my help,' Adam thought while wondering, 'Really, even kids have changed so much from back then.'

"What is this?"

"Is this for a video?"

"I don't see any cameras?"

"He looks scary let's take a different route,"

It was only now that Adam heard the voice of the people in the surrounding and stood up awkwardly.

"Ahem* it was for the team," Adam coughed and also entered the arcade to play some games.

The arcades had a good number of people inside and looked really lively compared to the ones in his city.

'This feels so good,' Adam was playing Mario Kart after so long and even if he wasn't winning since he was relearning the controls, the whole process was super fun.

His attention was taken away by the arcade completely since there were some games here that were never released outside of Japan, so he was real excited to try them out since arcades were the place he visited the most as a child.

'Dragon ball Z!!!' Adam nearly burst into tears as soon as he saw this arcade game.

While playing different games around the arcade Adam actually hit it off with the owner of this place who was around.
