"Ai wake up, it is time for the kids to wake up," The next morning Adam was trying to wake her up.

But she didn't budge, it would be supernatural if she did wake up what happened last night.

Adam sighed. He couldn't stop himself at that moment. By the time he realized his mistake, the sun was peeking out of the horizon.

'Well she did tell me to keep going,' He placed half of that blame on Ai. She was too hard to resist last night when she asked him to continue.

"Hgngh~…" Even now she was all over him.

Adam smiled and caressed her back. Now he can stay with her in the bed for as long as he wants to. He heard her through the door last time and it made him feel bad for leaving her alone.

Her light body was soft to the touch and it felt comfortable to hold her. But he was more of a sleep pillow to her, she nuzzled her face in his neck and tried to wrap her hands around him. Even as a grown woman, Ai held a childish instinct.

The time now was 6:59 A.M.

And it didn't change for another hour, two hours, three, five, ten…

'I might get an earful for this,' Adam could cast a spell on Ai to remove fatigue.

But he too wanted to spend some time with her. They may be lying in bed but it was enough, he wanted her to rest after the last three sleepless nights she had.

After a few more hours, Ai's long lashes fluttered as the clear eyes opened. When she saw his face in front of her a smile appeared on the pink lips.

"Good morning Adam," She snuggled close rubbing her face on his scarred chest. It made her smile more as the roughness across her cheek told her this wasn't a dream. After so long he was holding her in bed and she could finally enjoy it.

Ai wanted this for so long. Once he gave her that comfort her heart craved more. She didn't understand it at the time, but this is what made her understand what she wanted.

"Morning. Let's go wake up the kids," The way he caressed her tempted her to fall asleep again. But she had to hold it together, there was a time and place for everything.

"Yes…" Yet, she couldn't move. Ai didn't understand what type of sorcery he used but she couldn't get off him. This was terrible. Whatever will she do?

"We can continue this later," Adam had to let go of the time now, he was over the limit already.

"Really?" Her eyes lit up. She wasn't going to let go of this anytime soon.

"Yes," He nodded and got a kiss in exchange.

"You can't go back on that," She jumped off the bed and put her dress on. Ai held the door open and turned to look at him.

"I love you, Adam." She said before rushing out.

"What a way to start the morning," Adam shook his head. Her underwear was still on the floor, but the words she left behind were more impactful.

He wore his clothes with a smile and exited the room. She came out of the room with Ruby rubbing her eyes as Aqua followed them groggily.

She averted his eyes as redness spread across her face, he smiled and headed for the kitchen.

'I couldn't help it,' Ai peeked at him making breakfast for them. That pink apron suited him, and no one could hate a man that could make those delicious-looking pancakes. But even if he couldn't, her feelings wouldn't change in the slightest.

"Don't you feel something is weird?" Aqua whispered to Ruby after noticing this.

"Oh! You noticed it too? I didn't expect that," Ruby was proud of her brother's observation. It seems that he too is a true fan of Ai, although a little below her.

"Mama's skin was so perfect today. I wonder if she changed her skincare routine!" Aqua's lips twitched. His little sister was as useless as they come.

But he couldn't deny her words. Ai was shining today, more than ever. Not just skin alone, but the entire person felt different. Her smile was more vibrant and there was this natural womanly charm around her. But, the most pronounced detail was the eyes. They had a shine like never before, and he couldn't put his finger on the reason.

'I wonder what happened…? Maybe it is the break that helped her relax?' Aqua couldn't get that thought out of his head for the rest of the day.

Meanwhile, back at home, Ai snuggled into Adam's arms on the sofa. She smiled and kept his hand around her body. They stayed that way for a few hours without saying a single word.

However, Ai broke the long silence.

"Adam…" She got out of his hands and sat straight.

"What happened?" He noticed her fidgeting fingers and straightened his back. He didn't expect the sudden shift of mood.

"I want you to know about these things…. And if you get angry don't hold back," She took a deep breath to gather herself together.

"Why would I be angry?" Adam tilted his head.

"Well, that's because of what I did," To explain this Ai would have to start with her fear.

As an Idol, she had to throw the words 'I love you' around like candy. But she could do that knowing that if she lied it wouldn't matter, because her fans already knew.

However, when it came to saying it for real she couldn't do that. Ai feared that if the words that came out were lies, it would destroy everything. She didn't want to lie to someone she loved.

However, Ai was able to overcome this hurdle with her kids. She could now say with 100% certainty that she loved them. But when things came to Adam everything was a mess.

This wasn't the simple familial affection, but something more complex. There were so many things she needed to keep track of. Ai often found herself at a loss before she could confirm anything. The worst thing was that her body kept acting up. It made her believe that she was missing some physical action, rather than it being love.

"But I was able to narrow it down to three tests to understand it," Ai stared at Adam. It was a tough journey but she started out with the body data, then she confirmed it with the cake.

At the time she felt in her bones. She wasn't lying.

But, her body showed a heated reaction which made her doubt it again. So, still unsure she spent the night with him to get it out of her system. Then in the morning, her mind and body were devoid of any impurity, she said it again. And that same giddy feeling took over her chest.

"I loved you this morning, and I still love you now... This feeling can't be false. But what if the ones before were?" Ai couldn't help but shudder at the possibility.

She still didn't understand as it kept gnawing at her heart. If she was not pressed for time, Ai wouldn't do something this reckless because of the risk.

"It wasn't a lie… none of them were a lie," The unexpected confirmation came from Adam. She stared at his smile and became lost for a moment.

It wasn't a lie? Ai wanted to believe him. It would be easier. But he would lie to keep her heart.

"I wouldn't lie because of how much this matters to you," Her eyes shook.

'Adam, did you read my mind?' She gawked as he nodded.

"Why didn't you tell me before?" She hit him with rosy cheeks. Did he know what she was thinking of before? It was shameful.

"I don't do it all the time. But in this case, it was necessary. I needed to understand what worried you," Adam pulled her close and his big hand caressed her silky hair.

"You didn't lie to me, not once," Ai couldn't question it now. She could but it would be pointless.

"I'm glad…" She wrapped her hands around him and buried her face in his neck.

Ai enjoyed taken care of this way, the warmth and softness that came from being near him was what she wanted. But, there was an important question roaming in her mind.

"Adam… do you think I'll get pregnant?"
