The bell is ringing. A sign that the school ends

He glances outside the windows for the last time before getting up and ready to go home. He saw Hare waiting patiently outside his classroom.

"You can go home first Hare, I will take a detour to the supermarket first." Shu said.

"I can go along with you too, the supermarket isn't that far."

"Nah, I can do it alone. I will buy your favorite cheesecake in the way home."

"I will get fat if you keep giving me those cakes! But, I think it's okay if only a piece." Hare said.

"Got it, a piece of cheesecake for my princess." Shu said while giving a bow like asking a girl for a dance.

"Mou*, don't tease me every single time." Hare turned her body and giving a 'hmph' sounds.

Shu pet Hare's hair and said, "I will go first, be careful on your way back."

"Nn." Hare nodded.

After going separated way, Shu leisurely walking to the supermarket. On the way there, he notices the fish is following him. He leads the fish to a secluded place.

Shu stopped walking and said "Now, let's hear your excuse for spying on me. Mr Spy, or I say. Inori-chan."

Silence enveloped his surrounding, no sounds can escape him. Even the slightest movement of taking a breath.

"I know you're hiding behind that building Inori."

"Do I need to come to get you or you will willingly come out." Shu said.

Finally, Inori comes out on her own.

"How did you find out?" she asked

"I know it when I started to walk out of school."

She shocked, her finger twitch a little and calm down immediately after it, "I have a message from Gai, 'Come to base'"

He waited for Inori to continue, but got nothing and said, "That's it?" He asked.

"Nn." she nodded.

"Okay then, lead the way." He thinks that the time is almost ripe, so it's okay to visit his childhood friend. 'Gai, I almost forgot that name, with him on my side. It would be easy to start the plan. 'I can't wait to see how much the future can change with me interfere with everyone fate'.

He put his hand to his pocket and follow her. There is no more conversation between them. Shu keeps looking at her from behind. Inori on the other side feels his gaze from behind but ignore it.

'I need to control my urge to hug her, problems keep coming one by one on the previous life that I can't remember that much memory about us together. I got so lucky to get a second life. Inori, you will be mine, this time I'll make sure to make you happy'

After walking for a while, they finally find themselves in Undertakers HQ. He can see endlave lined up on the side. He also spotted Ayase behind Gai and also a fish that keep looking at him in the school with her speciality of cracking school's CCTV.

"Welcome to our base, Ouma Shu" Gai welcomed him with open arms. The main member of his group is standing behind him with a strict look on their face.

"Tsutsugami Gai, you're still alive" He remembered a distance memory about him and feel a bit down for a second.

"Hmm, long time no see" Gai smiled a little.

"What do want?"

"I just wanna see my long lost friend after heard Inori's story"

"Well, actually it's the same for me. After Inori told me that you're looking for me, I think the time is ripe."

"Thanks to you for saving Inori, I can secure an important item."

'Oh, Gai already uses the genome. Let's see how this new Gai can change the future' Shu can't stop the smiling on his face.

"You're not looking for me just for thanking me right?" asked Shu.

"Right, Come with me Shu. This world is rotten, GHQ is rotten, I plan to destroy GHQ to make us free from their grasp. They're way too arrogant these days. Not even a child can get away from their eyes. Come with me Shu, Let's make a better future for our people."

Shu clapped his hands after Gai finishes his speech and said, "Wow, such a big word you said."

"So how about it Shu?" asked Gai with a stoic expression on his face.

"Obviously" -he made a big smile and change it to his normal face immediately- "nope."

"Can you give me the reason for it?"

"I don't plan to join any organization at the moment."

"That's not the only reasons right?"

"I can't tell you the rest, but you will know it later. Maybe it won't take that long before you can see the reason." said Shu with an expectant look on his eyes.

Gai stays silence for a second and said, "It's good enough, well then Shu. I hope you will tell me if one day you change your mind."

Shu already realized that Gai won't give up recruiting him. That's because Gai already told him his plan to a coup. No one stupid enough to just blatantly tell you his big plan without expecting nothing. 'He plans every single step cautiously waiting for the bait to come willingly to his net. If it's the past me, I will join it with a smile. Too bad that I have my own agenda to complete, not that I will join him if I don't have any agenda'

Grumpy-looking Ayase keeps looking at Shu with a deadly look. If her eyes can speak, it will say something like 'you have guts to reject our boss offer'. Everyone has a different look on their face regarding Shu rejection. Some keep their stoic expression, some just don't care about it, and some giving Shu a gaze like a predator ready to kill his prey. With an exception for Tsugumi who keep her smiling face regardless of the situation.

"Gai, you said that because of me, you can secure some important thing right?" asked Shu.

"That's right, this item is really important for our next plan." Gai nodded.

Then Shu asked something that shocked everyone in the hall.

With a straight face, he takes Inori's arm and said, "Can you give her to me?"
