Task one

Bai Lianhua opened her eyes and saw that she was in a classroom full of students. The teacher at the front was busy teaching the class about Pythagoras theorem - she wasn't dumb so she knew she must be about 14 to 15 years old. The system didn't say anything about what kind of world this was or what life the person she possessed lived so she had to call it in a rush.

Bai Lanhua shrugged and told the teacher that her aunt came and all the boys in the class blushed. The teacher felt ashamed and also felt like Bai Lianhua was purposefully humiliating him. "You scourge! If you leave now, you're not allowed to come back to this class."

Her sister was adopted by the very rich Yue family and became Yue Linlan but she was adopted by an ordinary family with the same surname as her so she became Hu Lianhua. Accidentally, she enrolled in the same middle school as her sister and she was overjoyed to see her sister. Her sister didn't feel the same way. She thought that Hu Lianhua was a stain on her life. That she represented the fact that she was just an adopted daughter instead of the biological daughter. So Yue Linlan ignored Hu Lianhua and bought both students and teachers to make her life miserable. Yue Linlan also had an engagement plan with a rich boy in her class and she loved him very much. However, that boy was attracted to Hu Lianhua by accident. This was because Hu Lianhua was very demure and gentle - she treated people kindly and that made her very popular. Because she was raped, she got pregnant while at home during the holidays meaning she had to wait one whole year before re-taking the high school entrance exam.

By this point, her reputation was stinking. Her parents hated her and pushed her back to the orphanage. Yue Linlan used her family's authority to make life difficult in the orphanage. Hu Linlan had to do all the heavy chores even when she was pregnant and then someone pushed her down the stairs causing a miscarriage. She had to be rushed to the hospital. Yue Linlan also reached her hands there and made the loaning officials give Hu Lianhua a loan that basically could not be repaid her whole life. Hu Lianhua didn't know this and she signed the contract. She paid her hospital bills and then tried to find a job.

She couldn't find anything legal because she was still underage so she had to join the beggars in collecting garbage. From this job, she earned about 3 to 4 dollars. She also managed to find a job in a bar as a waitress and got paid about 40 dollars a day. That job also came with accommodation so she was getting her life back on track. That was until the loan sharks came asking for the money back and she didn't have it.

In desperation, she had to sell herself and got into the human trafficking business. Not only that, she also sold some of her organs to pay back the loan. The loan got paid in the end but she was deeply entrenched in the criminal world. Then Yue Linlan strikes while the iron was hot and Hu Lianhua was arrested and put in jail for life. Yue Linlan also bribed the prison wardens forcing Hu Lianhua to face abuse both sexual and physical for the rest of her life. She died in prison when she was 40 in a dingy dark cell.

Yue Linlan on the other hand was sent abroad by her family when she finished her bachelor's degree to establish more businesses. She returned in success, got married to her fiance Wu Chenren and lived a good life. No one in the Yue family knew anything of her deeds or if they did, they did a good job at hiding it.

Bai Lianhua was filled with so much resentment and anger at the treatment of this girl. Just because some random dude gave her a love letter, her whole life was destroyed. What is that? Isn't that a bit extreme? Why did Yue Linlan vent her anger on Hu Lianhua? Its not like Hu Lianhua wanted to get with Wu Chenren in the first place.
