Chapter 22- selfish
Medusa's pov:
" no, no I'm not doing it." Aviana shouted.
" what did you say?" I said. I heated what she said Im just making sure it's the right thing.
" I said no, do you want to here it in Spanish? Nó." She said mockingly.
( teen wolf quote? I think so teehee)
" fine." I turned around and walked towards the door, before I spoke again " well I'm sorry to say but we don't let you have your one call a day. Hope you said goodbye to lover boy and your child." Smirking I walked out while my men locked the door.
With my back facing the door I counted down in a whisper "3....2....1"
" ok.ok.I'll do it. But Im gonna need to call Colby." She spoke
White a smile on my face I turned a round and thought " hmm. And risk being attacked. No. I'll call him tell him to meet me at a local cafe and make the trade their."
" he won't listen to you...." I cut her off
" oh won't he?" I said with I high pitch tone. " well then you better hope he does because your life's on the line."
" what do you mean? I'm your daughter you can't kill me." She came up the the glass of the door.
I went up to the glass to and laughed "family or not, I would kill you. You see in this game you have no weaknesses. What I meant by 'your life on the line' thing, is that you would have been betrothed."
" betrothed!?" She looks horrible when she's confused.
"Ye, shame to he pretty cute and he's got money."
" is that all you care about?" She spoke
" what do you mean? Money is all anyone cares about."
" no, mother, most people care about their family more." She spoke trying to prove a point.
" well I'm sorry to say but I'm not like most people now am I." I state walking away

"Colby, darling how are you? Long time no speak." I state
" where's Aviana!" He spoke angry.
" calm down, it's just a simple trade." I eased.
" a trade for what." He questioned.
" oh you know. Leaving you and you family including avi alone for the rest of my life all I want in return is..."
" no, no, I'm not doing it. What is wrong with you?" He question.
" no harm will be made. So is it a deal or are giving up your wifey?" I asked
" what does Aviana think about this?"
" oh it's not 'avi' anymore?" I chuckled " she thinks it's a wonderful idea."
" I don't believe you she would never agree to this."
" then why did she give me your number plus, she knows she's not the full Guardian for Matias...." dramatic pause
"....."
(^ Heh it looks like a face)
" fine..."
" great I'll send you the location toodles." I quickly question myself for the ending. 'Toodles' who says that? Anyway let's get ready.

" do you have to do many SUV's surrounding your limo?" Aviana spoke.
"Well yes, I somehow have a lot of enemy's darling." I spoke looking out the window wondering how.
" somehow?" She muttered.
I pretended not to here her and continued to stare at the trees,until we got there.
I got out first with Aviana following behind me. She knew better then to waist her time trying to run away.
We beat Colby and Matias to the cafe, so we just sat there waiting for a waiter. ( does that make me a waiter? Woah!)
"What can I get you?" The rude ass bitch waiter asked.
" I'll have a glass of water" I spoke ever so nicely.
" um just a diet coke for me please." Aviana spoke.
"Is that that it?" The waiter asked and we nodded our head in reply and so she left to get our drinks.
" I thought you didn't like Diet Coke?" I asked Aviana.
" I didn't but I've changed" I just rolled my eyes at her.
Finally, a car rolled up at the same time our drinks came. I saw colby step out of the drivers side - he obviously didn't tell anyone about his little rescue mission- he went to the back door and got Matias.
They walked into the cafe and looked around for us. Once they seen us at the back of the cafe, Matias ran towards Aviana. When he got to her, she embraced him in a bear hug.
He looked up at me and I just smiled. A genuine smile at that.

Aviana's pov:
I let go off Matias and went to colby, i don't know if we're on good terms or not so I just stood there in front of him.
"Well don't I get a hug to?" He question and then smirked as he seen the biggest smile spread on my face.
I gave him a hug, like I haven't seen him in a year. We pulled a part but I still hugged his side, we looked back at Matias to see him sat down smiling with a chocolate milkshake around his mouth.
" do you think this is a good idea? I mean we could take him now and she can't do a thing" Colby spoke trying to find away around it.
" no, no, I think it'll be good for Her and him. He needs a mother and she's not getting any younger so she can't have children of her own." I said reassuring us both.
" well do you want to say goodbye?" Colby asked.
"No, let's just go home" I spoke, goodbyes are over-rated nowadays.
" about 'home' well we kinda have to move house thanks to Medusa and her men." He spoke, hoping I would still go with him.
Between me,myself and I. I would go to hell and back if it means I would get be with him.
" where to?" I question. He gave me a toothy smile as a thank you for still being here.
"California.." he spoke still smiling. My face dropped and not the good type, I'm not ungrateful I really appreciate everything Colby does for me but California. really.
"What's wrong?" He asked after seeing the look on my face.
" isn't that where all the scary movies are produced?" He just laugh and dragged me out of the cafe and to his black suv.
" you know some of the movies are real." I told him. Hoping he'll change his mind. He didn't.
