Chapter Two hundred and seven

They untie him to make the call while pointing the gun at him, Rebecca kept pacing restlessly on the board floor. Was this going to be it? They were going to find her daughter? She had felt disappointed the last couple of days waiting not to hear any news or update about her daughter but none came.

Finally, when he disconnected the call he turned to them with an emotional face and for a moment her heart dropped  "You found him right?  " The bar owner said he hasn't seen him since a week now but...he mentioned to him the night he disappeared that he was going to the city to spend"

Rebecca felt cold, tired, and instantly wanted to go home, over leg grew weak and she fought herself to stand. "I think the police had to take it from here, Rebecca we had found a necessary clue that he might be behind Sunny's disappearance.

"I won't rest till my daughter is found". She turned to Samuel, who was being held now by the man that has accompanied him. "You never saw this woman he was walking for?

He shook his head " How are we going to find this man now, he wouldn't go to the bank because he knows the risks in it" "So where is he now? Andrew asked rhetorically.

" Could you show us a picture of this man? "I don't..." Just one glare from Andrew stopped him from lying to them. And in a second, he slides his phone to Andrew. "This is Jackson". What Rebecca saw sent a cold shiver down her spine, the picture showed a cold-looking man with a deep scar on his face.

He looks huge and tough, John was going to help him find this man, she immediately screenshots of the picture and sent it to John.

" John is going to find him in no time and as for the woman behind this...". She was going to find her. "Take him! Rebecca ordered. "What else do you guys want, I'm done helping" Rebecca stared at Becky to Samuel. "You still have to pay for your crimes.

"Did you find anything about Sunny? Miranda asked her husband over the phone. "Yes, something helpful that would lead us to her". "How?  " We know that the guy's name is Jackson, we just have to find him and he'll lead us to Sunny...." "I'm happy to hear that"

"Yeah, babe, how's Josh? "They no different Andrew, he hasn't been out of his room, I'm worried about him, he keeps blaming himself for what happened". " All this would be over soon...

Rebecca got home and instantly took drugs that would stop her headache, she felt as if her head was being pulled apart, and afterward, she made herself sit in the bathtub and cry for hours.

She felt broken, knowing that the has to just sit here and do nothing, hoping that John finds this man.

This was her last hope of finding her daughter because the police were also running a dead end finding her daughter, the woman behind this made sure that there was no loose end but...theirs always a loose end, and she must find it out.

She walked out of the shower to find her cell phone ringing, Rebecca hesitated for a while before sliding the answer gesture.

"We've found him..." That was the first word she heard from him. "He bought a house at Vortex, one of the richest parts of this city". " How fast can we get to him?  She couldn't hesitate, she needs to save her daughter.

"My men are already on their way now...Rebecca" John called her name over the phone. "I think we'll save Sunny soon nothing to worry about now". " I have a lot of things to worry about now...till she saves".

Tara listened to the speaker over the phone for some time before disconnecting, Rebecca was moving fast but she wouldn't allow her to win against her this time.

She dialed the number on her and waited for it to be answered.

"They're coming for you, I want you to leave wherever you are right now, go get the girl, I've arranged for the car that would pick you and the girl up, and first thing tomorrow morning, my plane would be waiting at the airport to pick you up"

Rebecca kept pacing around the living room while Emily watched her nervously. She kept waiting for her cell phone to ring, for her to know the next step.

She found herself having lots of doubts about this, what if they were wrong about this all along? What if she couldn't find her daughter? What if they had been chasing the wrong person?

She had a lot of doubts but kept forcing herself to push it all out of her mind and concentrate on the issues now, she kept thinking of what Tara he said to her. She had sounded so convincing about Sam hitting her which was the truth but...she wasn't telling her all the truth.

She had felt that the story she told her was incomplete, she had missed telling her something and just thinking about what she had been told and what she found out from Samuel.

She realized they were more behind the story, her phone rang distracting her from her thoughts. "We think he got wind that we're coming? John said over the phone. " How's that possible, we kept it a secret how then... Where is he now?

She didn't want to hear any bad news, Jackson was their only hope of finding Sunny" "You don't have to worry, my men are following behind, we just need to find out where he's going before arresting him and the police are involved now...

And for the first time since her daughter got missing, she felt this ripple of hope and assurance that her daughter was going to be found.

"Rebecca, I think he might be going to where Sunny is because that could only explain why he's leading us to come sewer, I'll send a car over to get you, you might want to be here where your daughter would be found"

"Sure, I'll like to tag along but I have something to take care of. There was a pause at the other end before she heard Sam's voice again."Are you sure? " Emily would be there but I need to be here to take care of something". "Very well then"

"Are you sure, you don't want to come along?  " I want to but without figuring this out, this isn't going to end"

Andrew watched the car behind as it drive at a high speed while they followed closely behind, it was going towards the city sewer, and whatever he was planning on doing...

he was sure it would lead them to Sunny, he could imagine how happy and relieved she'll be when she meets her daughter.

And after what seemed like an eternity he started to pull in front of a lonely did own by the government, they waited for him to get out of the car before the policemen also got down to thrilled behind him, all he hopes for them to find Sunny.

Rebecca inquired about Tara through her personal assistant and after a few seconds he called back to report that her flight to England was set in three hours and her last visit was at the hospital because she got a call that her husband was awake.

Sam was awake!! And why was she even preparing to travel for the first one while her husband was still in the hospital bed? She couldn't wait any longer and found herself driving at a high speed to the hospital within a second.

Sam glared at the woman as she walked in...be still couldn't find the strength to talk. "Why that glare? Tara asked as she walked in to stand beside her husband, I'm just here to visit, don't you want to see me? She smiled as she reached out to touch him while Sam tried to brush her hand away.

" You still don't have enough strength in you so you shouldn't struggle at all, I would say I'm surprised to see you awake, I never expected you to be...you know? I thought you'll be long gone. She bent over and whispered.

"You... You did this..." Sam muttered angrily. "Yeah, Of course, I did because you're so evil and you deserve to die".

"I'll get my revenge on you! "Hell no! I don't think you'll have the chance to do that! Sam watched her wife's expression change as the reached out from her back and what he saw next was an injection.

And without even being told he had known what she was planning "No!! Sam tried to struggle to sit up  "I told you not to struggle and I would have killed you, I only left you to suffer here...on this bed for a while before sending you off and now I think it's time"

"You don't have to do this". " Of course, I do...it not going to be painful, just a shot and slowly you'll die in your sleep, you deserve it for hurting and keeping me hostage in my own home"

"I'm so... sorry Tara...I didn't mean to" Sam felt a ripple of fear laying on the hospital bed, he turned toward the door praying for someone to get in. "Oh, you don't have to have any hope because I asked for some alone time with my husband, it's been a while... So they granted my wish"

"You don't have to do this... " I have every reason to do it" And just when she was injecting the shot into his drip the door burst open.

Andrew only got out of the car when he saw that the police were already pointing guns at the suspect, they had waited for him to pull the lid before arresting him, and now he was asked to lead them down the sewer.

And it was very clear that this was where Sunny was being held, he felt like rushing down there all by himself to find out what or who was down there, he had to wait for the police to lead the way.

Sunny lay on the floor with a glowing stomach, hoping that someone would come and pass and bring her food, she had been starving since morning and she would be very appreciative if she even see her normal meal which had become a slice of bread and a cup of water.
